Steven Sepulveres and Jamison Rayfield have an excellent firm located in downtown Orlando -- easy to get to and easy parking. They didn't keep me waiting, were attentive, asked pointed questions, made me feel much easier about what could potentially be a sticky mess, and said that both attorney's would be present for my court hearing. Steven is up to date with my case which I sincerely appreciate. Small firm and Big Attention to the clients. Steven and Jamison seem to have a real understanding that this is MY LIFE which is at stake. And that, if NOT, a feeling that I have gotten from other legal firms I have used,

Attorney Dayton King from Victim's Safe Harbor Foundation out of Mount Dora, FL was the BEST attorney I've ever had on my 3 year journey through family court! He and his wife and partner, Mrs. Donna King, worked SO hard on my custody case and I ultimately won everything I asked for! They put their ALL into what they do... And I can PROMISE you this: they will approach your case with a genuine sympathy and caring attitude. They will listen to your concerns and counsel you wisely but with TRUE empathy. It is not just about the paycheck for this organization. It is personal. This couple KNOWS domestic violence. And specifically, they understand the form that domestic violence takes on in a custody dispute. It is so important for victims to have a means of representation that not only knows the law, but is extremely educated about D.V. I can say with 100% certainty that my child and I would not be where we are today without them. They helped to change our lives in the best possible way. They are lower cost as well. Something that many struggling mothers who are victims of D.V. need. Contact them!

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.

Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:

Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
