Dan literally saved my son's life. Because of him, my son will still have a future and a chance at a normal life. His team CARES. He saw my son for the special kid he is and FOUGHT for him! He never gave up and he not only saved my son's life but his futurefuture as well. Parents you have to have a lawyer that you trust, Dan is that lawyer and the only lawyer you should only consider. I had hired some big shot at first drained $20,000 out of my savings for a retainer, not realizing that wasn't even money for my sons defense, just the cost of having their name written down as legal consel. If I wanted them to actually defend my son that was $500 an hour. Dan was a flat fee, my only regret was not finding him sooner! Dan fought for my son as if he was fighting for his own. He is the best, will work with you on payment plans, his team is the only team I have ever seen put Justice over prophet. His fees are extremely reasonable, in fact I think he is worth more! They really are "Super Lawyers."

David Adams with the Hunt Law Firm should be the Go-To attorney for all things divorce related. He and his amazing staff answered every question I had in a timely manner, provided updates to me without having to ask for them, and they were actually nice and friendly to deal with!! April 15, 2012 I was arrested for a DWI. I had a history of DWI convictions. The District Attorney was ruthless. I was on Parole and could not bond out. I went to trial and was found NOT GUILTY on April 2, 2015. Yes, I was found NOT GUILTY after sitting in jail 2-1/2 years. I felt my neck under the boot of an impatient, Byzantine legal bureaucracy of Galveston County. The true blessing and hope was that I was in good hands with Tad Nelson and Amber Spurlock on my side. I was in the conservative court of Judge Lonnie Cox, which is said to favor the State. I was summoned to his chambers and was greeted by an Electric Chair sitting next to the photo of him and his bride. One could not feel any less comfortable. The Galveston Police officer had a story and so did I. Both stories conflicted each other. Tad Nelson listened to every word I had to say and he asked all the right questions. Tad and his team did their research, and did a great job doing so. Thanks to Amber Spurlock with Tad Nelson, we won! I am forever grateful for all the attention he gave me and the fact that she paid attention to what I had to say. I tell everyone I know about Amber Spurlock and Tad Nelson because of their great work. It was a very stressful time and Amber was there for me. Her greatest strength has to be her ability to extend her knowledge of the ever changing state and federal laws; while also becoming familiar with a multitude of other industries. Donnie was fantastic. I initially called an attorney’s office near my home that I was familiar with, and they themselves are the ones who actually referred me to Donnie for my particular circumstances.
I had “fix it” tickets for not having an updated address on my license and my registration had expired. I went online, updated the address, paid the fine, sent proof to the court. With the registration ticket, I updated my registration, paid the late fees and submitted proof to the court. Where I dropped the ball was overlooking the additional $10 fine that could only be paid in person. The League City Municipal Court had set a court date for me that I had missed and when I was notified via text from the city about my arrest warrant, you can probably imagine my bewilderment. I called the court and initially spoke to an extremely unsympathetic clerk who gave me two options: Pay the much larger fine now and have a misdemeanor on my record or turn myself in, spend the day and night in jail and roll the dice with the judge the next day.
This is all over an additional $10 fine that was in addition to the fees I had paid in updating my registration. Absolutely ludicrous, and this random clerk clearly had a bone to pick with me about missing the court date. I then spoke with the League City Municipal Court Administrator who was exactly the same. Pay the fine, enjoy the new criminal record or go to jail and pound sand. At this point I’m nearly livid at the absurdity of this kangaroo court and 20 minutes later I’m on the phone with Donnie. His fee happened to be exactly the same as the fine I was facing, yet with him I’d at least have a shot at getting this whole thing taken care of. So obviously, this is a no brainer.
Donnie immediately got to work. I admit I was surprised at how promptly he got into it. He gave me a phone call later in the same day after spending an hour on the phone with the same clerk I dealt with. In essence, this random court clerk somehow thought she knew the law better than an actual attorney with a resume like Donnie’s and he had to politely, but firmly put her in her place. She called the judge to confirm if she was right or Donnie was right and the judge put her in her place as well and minutes later the arrest warrant was pulled and Donnie had me squared away. I went back to the Municipal court to pay my $10 fine, gave the clerk the most smug smile I have ever mustered in my entire life and was on my way.
It’s a paradoxical shame that I met Donnie in these circumstances as he exudes competence and was a genuine pleasure to work with. I would love to do more business with him in the future, but I generally do not run afoul of the law and would have to screw something up majorly for us to have that opportunity. Rest assured however, that whatever circumstance I may find myself in that needs an attorney, Donnie will be the first I call. If the specific circumstance is out of his realm it expertise, I will still reach out to him and ask for a recommendation as I trust his judgment that much already.
If you’re considering utilizing his services, you are only doing yourself a disservice by not at least giving him a call. And to Donnie, thank you for everything.

Horrible service Ashley Joyner for 3 years promised me and my daughter she was doing everything she could to get out case done asap even with her knowing our financial situation she kept on putting other clients ahead of us since May 2020 she without notice withdrew of my case in the motion to withdraw she promised to assist us finding new counsel but like always she didn't answer the phone or return my call to help but the siver lining is one week after she was off the case the opposing attorney already had me sign a outta court 6 figure settlement for each my daughter case and mine with no fee we've already received my check and my daughters has been put in a trust so be advised it might be easier and quicker to seek counsel else where

Great lawyer, he showed up a little late which worried me but when he got there he was able to handle it quickly. I had a speeding ticked for 39 over the posted limit as well as a front license plate violation and came out only having to pay court fees and the front plate violation(not a moving violation).
