James responded to a question I posted. I was able to reach him immediately from my first call. He spent a considerable amount of time consulting with me without hesitation. James was courteous, respectful, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He answered every question I asked directly with sincere detailed answers. Atty. James Frederick answered a question for me on Avvo and after several phone consultations, I hired him to assist with my father's small estate proceeding in Michigan. I don't live in Michigan, so my case needed special attention and constant contact at points. Over the course of 4 years (due to the nature of the case), Atty. Frederick was always available to me by phone, email, and also at one point readily agreed to travel 2 hours away to a hearing for the estate with minimal fuss. I was wary of handling the process remotely when my case started, but I can tell you that it was handled honestly, professionally, and for what I thought was a reasonable rate. If you are in the Livonia area (or anywhere in Michigan), and need any service that Atty. Frederick provides, you can not go wrong in at least speaking to him about it.

I filed a Chapter 13 with Charlie in January of 2019. I was young, overwhelmed, and terrified but after my first appointment, I truly felt like things could get better for the first time in years. Charlie is extremely knowledgeable, and very importantly, knows exactly how to explain each step in a way that is easy for anyone to understand. He was very thorough when assessing my situation so we could figure out the absolute best course of action for me to take. Whenever I was there for an appointment, it felt almost like he had nothing else to worry about that day. However long it took to get through what we needed to was how long it took, never felt even a little bit rushed. He is very professional, but one of the absolute most important things to me is that he is also able to maintain a more easy-going demeanor. From almost the first minute I met him, that alone made me feel a huge sense of relief, even without knowing what we were going to come up with as far as my plan. JUDY COLEMAN, COLEMAN LAW CENTER, LIVONIA, MI IS A STAR. SHE WILL FIGHT LIKE HELL FOR YOU. Judy represented me in a corrupt Wayne County Probate guardianship of my elderly aunt. The state dragged my 96 year old aunt kicking and screaming from her home April 18, 2022 with the baseless claim that she was legally incapacitated. . They held her , against her will, in isolation at Wyandotte Hospital; and, they wanted to show she was legally incapacitated. The claims made by AS and Guardian Care were all lies and baseless. The judge released my aunt and sent her home. Judy is still fighting for me and my aunt as Guardian Care froze my aunt's bank account and they are in contempt of court as the judge ordered them to immediately release her bank account so her 8 prescriptions and oxygen can be paid for...thus far they have not released her account. I needed legal counsel for each of my older teenage boys, both for separate issues within a two year period (2014 and 2016). My first phone call to Wade was a message of urgency I left on his voicemail at 2am one morning because my son had been arrested and was in jail. Wade returned my call by 8am and began working for us immediately, which included visiting my son in jail. He took the situations with each of my boys seriously; he was eager to help and was great with keeping us informed, we didn't feel like just another number. My son's crimes were wiped of their permanent adult record and their probation terms were reasonable as well. When I first ended up in my legal problems, I was afraid, confused and frustrated, I found Wade from online and decided to contact him, it was the best decision I ever done in my life!
He is extremely confident and knows what he is doing, he told me he never lost a felony case in his long career, and to my expectations I walked away from my serious legal problems ( 11 felonies) .

Prior to meeting Melissa, I was in desperate need of support from my bankbruptcy attorneys.
I had retired early from my job due to medical reasons and my SS didn't begin until 5 months later. I tried to explain the financial issues to my attorneys: I emailed both of them and tried to contact them on the phone. My calls were not once answered or returned. Neither were the several (rather desparate ) emails I sent to both, explaining the changes in my circumstances and that I was unable to pay the Court until I received my retroactive Social Security payments.
After 60 days with no contact from them, I called the trustee's office , discussed my situation and was sent a listing of attorneys in my area. I feel that I am extremely fortunate that I selected Melissa's firm (Charles Schneider). My appointment was scheduled within a couple of days of my initial call, my prior case notes were discussed with me and my options on how best to proceed were carefully explained.
After followup calls and appointments with Melissa, my case was reviewed by the Court.
Bottom line: My case issues were all resolved and Melissa also negotiated more affordable monthly payments due to my retirement and reduced income.
I cannot praise her efforts and support enough!

Going through any bankruptcy is not easy. But Melissa made it less painful. Her excellent knowledge of the law and the inner workings of the bankruptcy court was key in helping us to file, maintain, and finally complete our bankruptcy. Near the end of our bankruptcy due my wife being forced to retire and we losing half of our income we were forced to request a modification. Melissa took on this challenge, negotiating with our remaining creditors and the trustee for an approved modification to our plan that was acceptable to all parties involved, helped us avoid incurring new debt in the process. I highly recommend this attorney if you are faced with bankruptcy. Communication with , and compassion for the client are two things that Melissa excelled at. She exceeded my expectations.

Ms. Turnbull completed a comprehensive estate plan for me in 12/17. This included a will, a trust, a power of attorney, medical directives, etc. I was able to retain her through Hyatt Legal Services. Initially, I retained a different attorney who after providing a draft of several documents, never followed up with me.
I then searched, found, and retained Ms. Turnbull based on her Avvo reviews. I am so thankful that I did. The process entailed three visits - a consultation, review of draft, and then the final review/signing. In between appointments, she timely responded to my e-mail questions.
During each step, she was always professional, highly organized, responsive, attentive, patient, and very thorough. She also had a very pleasant personality - very easy to talk too. Moreover, despite my many questions, I never felt rushed.
Planning one's estate can be very stressful and confusing. She walked me through each step with much care and detail - even providing legal research results so that I could fully understand the particular issue/topic.
What I particularly liked was the final review/signing. She put all the documents in a binder and provided a checklist/todolist as to completing the necessary tasks. This was truly a godsend and beyond helpful.
Overall, I just can't say enough nice things about her as a person, as well as, about her as a highly skilled attorney. If you are looking for someone who will listen to and execute your objectives with care, compassion, and skill, then go with Ms. Turnbull - you won't regret it!

Shauna is VERY organized. I have Hyatt legal through University of Michigan so had her do my trust, wills, power of attorney, heath directive..anything Hyatt covered.
I have an aging parent and handicapped sister so she also did a Special Needs trust so that I could make sure my sister was also taken care of. Even though I though it complicated..she simplified it. First meeting was getting it going. Second was the review and what everything means and third was notarizing ,finalizing, and filing the documents. Each item was organized in a binder for me with colored sheets dividing them and reminding what they were for..which helps my trustee when I can no longer be in charge of them. I highly recommend her. She made everything painless and I have made sure my mom and sister will not have to go to probate, my homes pass to them without probate and the binder tells them what to do if I die before them. I thought Shauna was outstanding.

It is with great appreciation that I would like to share my experience with Robert Blamer as my attorney and legal representation in my difficult and unusual case involving my automobile accident.
When I first met Mr. Blamer at his office I was very hesitant, uncertain and confused. The head trauma I suffered in the accident left me feeling vulnerable, a position I was not used to being in.
During the progression of that initial meeting - though I remained reserved, I quickly found myself warming to his approachable personality. His strength of character and extensive knowledge gave me the assurance I needed to go forward with entrusting my case to him though I remained guarded.
As time and my case progressed Mr. Blamer ( slightly exasperated I might add ) made the statement, " Gloria at some point you are going to have to trust me ". In response I skeptically raised my eyebrows in drawn out silence. Trust is not something I have ever taken lightly or given freely and with my history must be hard earned and proven.
At the close of my case as we settled in our seats for the final decisions Mr. Blamer looked over at me and said, " I don't like to loose." I stared back intently and gamely replied, " I don't either".
Not surprising to me, we did win the case and for the first time ever I found myself signing documents without painstakingly reading them first. Mr. Blamer quickly informed me I had every right to read them before signing. I looked up at him and smiled assuredly, "Bob, I trust you". Nothing more needed to be said. I had given him the highest honor I could have given anyone.
