Hi,
I was trying to find time to write something about this law group. I had accident last year and it was not that massive but quite recognizable. But this firm make it happen and get as much as penalty from plaintiff. They are very professional and documentarily precise and helpful in every aspects.

Deaf / hard of hearing client, facing battery charges that were false. Just signed with Ty after inquiring around with other firms. Even though I have communication issues, Ty has accommodated me and most importantly had a good attitude. I even said I was going with someone else who was cheaper and he was still very positive / encouraging and gave free advice. I ended up going with him nonetheless. patient isn’t closed yet, but confident that he will take care of it

Craig Byrnes is incredible. I found Craig after I sought legal representation after my employer presented me with a difficult situation. He was so responsive, knowledgeable, and clear in his approach to protect my interests. Craig is adept at filtering out ethical or emotional issues from legal issues, and does not waste time on futile matters. He is extremely efficient and does not sugarcoat anything. He is great at client management too, keeping me focused on the task at hand and talking sense into me when needed.
Craig was able to reach an amicable resolution with my employer to end the situation gracefully and rationally. I don't know if anyone has referred to their attorney as a knight in shining armor, but he is definitely that. I highly recommend him to anyone - you want him on your side.

I cannot explain the great help Craig was to me in my case. He picked up the dirty work another attorney left behind, In no time he had answers for me, that he explained in great detail until I was on board with understanding the big picture. He is extraordinary and professional. Mr. Byrnes served me twice. I first met him when searching for an employment lawyer because I wanted a contract if I was to leave my job to go help prospective employer with their business. I was leaving a highly paid job and wanted both sides to be clear as to what we agreed to. Once the contract was signed and I resigned my other job, my employer refused to pay me what was agreed to in the contract. Mr. Byrnes provided excellent advice throughout the whole mess, was strategic in his approach, and was far more knowledgeable that some of the lawyers the employer hired (employer went through about 3 lawyers before finally settling). Mr. Byrnes got me a big settlement. I cannot say enough positive things about Mr. Byrnes. His professionalism is outstanding. He prepared for the case so thoroughly that no matter what opposing lawyers might throw at us, he always responded with facts and law, so they stopped arguing with him. I wouldn't want to have to be on the other side in a case he was involved with. He always told me the truth, explained the law and how judges were ruling on various points, and he listened to my concerns with great sensitivity. Anyone who has an employment law issue can do no better than turning to Craig Byrnes. Ultimately, he stood strong for me and obtained a big settlement for me.

I had Gotten a criminal speeding ticket, and was talking to friend about it and she knew someone to help with my case. so i called the lawyer up and he was willing to do what he could to help. Daniel Sallus was always on point when i needed question answered and he knew what to say to the judge. I was in a tight place for money and i was going to pay 1000 for my fines, but Daniel talk to a lot of people and talk to the judge to get a better deal, this guy is extremely good at his job and instead of paying 1000 i only had to pay 100. if anyone has a case and needs a lawyer i would recommend calling him. hes a great guy and a good lawyer. thank you Daniel for your help.

Not to knock my Public Defender, but she had already written me off after a 90 second conversation, and told me I should plead guilty to a deal without asking more than 3 questions. I almost just accepted this, but knew I wasn’t guilty and decided not to be a victim of the system built to protect me.
I first called Decio to ask his opinion on my case, and I immediately felt he was invested in finding out the full details and did not jump to any conclusions. After our brief 10 minute phone discussion, he laid out a few ways he thought the case could go, but offered to meet in person the same day to provide a more in depth assessment. We met at his office, which is very warm and welcoming, and went to a private conference room where for about 30 mins he and I discussed the case, after which he told me how he thought he could best fight the case for me, and that all hope was not lost as the Public Defender had made me feel at my initial hearing. His confidence in me and what I was telling him convinced me he was going to be not only my best chance at a fair outcome, but to deal with someone who looked at me as an individual, not just another case number to get through.
Throughout the case, Decio personally reached out to me at least a dozen times to keep me up to speed, to ask for meetings, info, etc.... I never once had to go looking for him. When he explained something over the phone that I just wasn’t sure or clear about, he always invited me to come meet at the office to work through things, always reassuring.
The longer our relationship grew, the more I could feel him becoming personally attached to my outcome, and it really felt like I had someone on my team who wanted not only the best outcome for the case, but for my life moving forward in general.
If you’re on the fence about whether to hire a private attorney, I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Decio, and am so very certain now making the call to him changed the path my life was headed. With the public defender, I’d be living the rest of my life with a conviction and the stigma and shame for something I wasn’t guilty of. With Decio, NO CONVICTION, CASE DISMISSED! And also, just as important, I don’t feel like a helpless civilian who can be railroaded into guilt, I know that if you have the right help, you can push back!

My girlfriend and I had really bad car accident. We both had to undergo a few surgeries. The insurance carrier tried to say we were partially responsible for the accident. I have hired Joel Ruben to assist me in three different legal matters over the last 20 years.
I am a CPA and close to 20 years ago I was sued by one of my clients that I was aware of a inventory valuation issue that I should have been aware of. The lawsuit was in the millions of dollars and Joel Ruben was successful in arriving in a fair settlement on my behalf.

Ms. Budris helped me to plow into the messy files of the LAPD and discover that there was no current bench warrant for my significant other. I had tried many other attorneys and PIs over the last few years with no success. The stress of this possible warrant, along with the COVID situation and constant home and online invasions was leading her close to suicide.

I was having custody issues with my ex and going through a nasty divorce.
I ended up getting arrested as my ex was trying to get leverage in our case and charged with a misdemeanor dv.

Lisa is worth every penny, she saved my life. I've never navigated the legal system in any capacity before this month and she was patient and attentive in getting me and my family through what has been, without question, the hardest month of my life.

My 2 year old child was abducted by her mentally unstable mother from our home in CA to her native Norway. On top she filed a baseless domestic abuse charge against me which threw me temporarily out of my house.
A friend advised me to contact Pauline. I had mixed feelings at first because she had not handled an international abduction case before and I knew that the odds were against me as the father with a young female judge in CA and Norwegian judges to deal with if we would win in CA. Pauline confirmed the difficult road ahead openly and told me that she would be personally committed and study the international treaties involved without guaranteeing success and be in constant feedback/consultation.
As a CEO of a large multinational I had experience with a lot of inside and top lawyers outside over my 20 years building my career. Pauline stood out! She has that unique combination of being down to earth/facts, communicating, listen, develop a joint strategy and go really deep and personal resulting in prime teamwork and effectively defining parts of international law that were uncharted under the Den Hague treaty against international abduction.
In short:
- The domestic violence accusation was denied.
- The child abduction was confirmed in LA Court.
- It was upheld in appeal in LA.
- The Court granted me (father) full legal and physical custody with limited supervised visitation for mother. With the mother and child being in hiding in Norway this was unenforceable.
- With the help and direction of Pauline we invoked the international Den Hague treaty in court in Norway with the help of a local associated law firm.
- Despite my child's Norwegian citizenship the Norwegian court ruled that the child should be returned to me in CA, upholding the original CA court order.
- In appeal the Norwegian high court upheld the ruling.
As a result of our teamwork my daughter is now happily living with us and has very limited visitation with her mother. She is almost 7 now and fighting visitations so we have a new problem brewing.
All of this would not have happened if Pauline had acted like a corporate or bureaucratic lawyer.
She took the time to familiarize herself with the details of international child abduction and made the crucial difference resulting in me having my kid back.
Her deep personal involvement and team working between us led to this highly unusual success and I am grateful.
Her hourly rate is steep but she is worth it and the final cost goes down a lot if you prepare yourself beforehand.
We are absolute happy with the way she handled our case and the result.
