Was having an issue with the immigration case for my husband that postponed his stay here for more than expected. We Asked for help and was redirected to Celine Attallah's law firm group. When we first spoke with Celine, we were amazed by how good she is . She was able to explain everything to us on the process and she was very understanding on the situation and the frustrations that me and my husband were going through ! At the end of July 2022, my then-13-year-old son was mowing our neighbors lawn and subsequently was struck by a drunk driver. He suffered a deep laceration to his forearm requiring 10 stitches and an aftercare appointment.
I was recommended to hire Attorney Stephen by a colleague and I immediately hired him upon discussion of the case. Attorney Stephen handled everything, from acquiring bills to paying them, keeping me informed every step of the way. The process with Attorney Stephen was effortless on our behalf. He handled all paperwork, negotiations and discussions with insurance and reported back always in a timely fashion.
He treated our family with care and respect and not just as paying clients. Although not involved in the criminal case against the driver, he still took the time from his day to appear next to us in Superior court and support my son and I during her plea and sentencing- which my son and I are extremely grateful for.
Attorney Stephen ensured the best possible final number for my son. He handled the annuity and was diligent about reviewing and explaining the process and paperwork with my husband and I. His prices were fair and reasonable and he explained his costs to us in plain verbiage and there was no confusion.

Attorney Stephen is amazing. I had called a couple other attorneys before I saw his name on Google. The first Attorney I called never got back to me and the second said it wasnt worth his time. From the beginging Attorney Stephen was on top of everything, through the entire process he stayed in contact with me and would get back to me very promptly when I had questions. I will be able to take care of upcoming medical bills for a long time becauae Attorney Stephen helped me to recover 3 times what would normally be expected for the sort of injury I had from my car accident. I have recently recommended him to a good friend who had an issue at a hospital. I would highly recommend him to anyone and would use him again in a heartbeat if I were to ever need an attorney. Basically she winged this one. She maybe good with divorce but does not know grandparent visitation rights. There was little communication between the consult and court date. I had to prompt her to arrange a pretrial meeting and to close the case. Was late for court, misrepresented me in front of the judge which was embarrassing. Basically she did everything on the fly. I thought maybe she had an edge on this law. Other lawyers were more honest and did not want us to waste our money. She was not and I know the difference I have had more concerned, honest lawyers. make sure the lawyer you hire has experience in the case you want to get resolved. Easy money for her.

Divorce is stressful and confusing. I had no idea what to expect, and with emotions running high, I had no idea how to act. As a man with a young son to protect, I went into this process with a lot of misconceptions. Linda was the perfect lawyer for me for many reasons. They say the reason most men don't get custody is because they don't ask for it. Linda knew what to ask for from the start. She has been in this business for many years, and has lived in Methuen forever. Not only did I get someone well versed in Law, but I got someone who knows the landscape. If it were up to me, I would have filed at the wrong time, filed frivolous motions, and led with my emotions. Linda is patient. She doesn't do anything unless she knows she has a chance at winning. She is not the type of lawyer who takes your money and doesn't care; she's an advisor, she will tell you your chances, and she can see what's likely going to happen before it happens. In my case, custody has been an ongoing process, and it has been easier knowing that she's probably seen cases like mine before and knows when to fight. I would recommend her on any family case.

We dealt with the Law Office of Arthur J Broadhurst only briefly, they handled the final paperwork when it came to buying my home in Salem NH.
While they were easy and helpful enough in the beginning, they made a mistake executing a transaction on our behalf which resulted in the funds being lost.
It has been nearly two months since the money has been missing and they have dragged their feet in helping us recover it, pointing the finger at everyone else involved except themselves.
Very disappointed and unsatisfied.

Attorney DiFruscia is smart and charming which is great, for some professions. However, he does not follow through or follow up on issues and has to be reminded time and again to do so. He reprsented my disabled sister to get visitation rights with her children and to get the retirement benefits that she was awarded in the divorce settlement. I went with her to every visit and she never got visitation, nor did she get the divorce settlement. She passed away in 2008 and Attorney DiFruscia handled her estate (and I was Executor). He seems kind and compassionate. However, one has to look at actioons as well as words. My sister's estate had a problem with hospital bills and Medicaid. I told DiFruscia that I saw a letter from MassHealth that stated she was eligible for benefits after an offset, and that the hospital should not have been billing her estate. I spent more than an hour discussing this with him and left thinking that he would take care of that. He did not. Nearly 8 months later the hospital sued the estate. He did not respond to the lawsuit (I didn't get notice) until it was completed and a lien put on my sister's condo. One of his staff members wrote a motion (which I had to edit because the writing was so bad) addressing the lien.... apparently he didn't follow up on that either because months later there was no word on the outcome. I have a friend who is a lawyer and went to a meeting with Attorney DiFruscia and me. DiFruscia felt threatened and said he would put a lien on my sister's property (which he did) for charges for the lawsuit he filed that didn't need to be fired. My friend suggested I get a new lawyer who handled estates which I did. The lawyer worked with the hospital and I worked with MassHealth to resolve the problem. Within 6 weeks MassHealth took over the hospital bill and the lien was lifted from my sister's condo. When I look at the bills from DiFruscia dealing with my sister's estate, I see thouosands of dollars that would not have incurred had he worked with MassHealth and the hospital in the first place.
I say if you need a lawyer, look elsewhere.

I felt Attorney DiFruscia was very misleading on the actions he would pursue on my divorce case, stating we would file temporary orders immediately.I was open and honest and communicated what was important to me, including my financial burdens. He decided to pursue an amicable approach and send a draft agreement (that I help draft) to opposing counsel only to get a offensive retaliation by my spouses attorney for temporary orders delaying any action on my case for 7 months until we went to court. Despite his many years as an attorney, he clearly underestimated opposing counsel's actions and should have followed his initial instinct to file temp orders immediately and move case along. I had to live in a stressful and contentious enviroment with my spouse and four kids, pay all the bills and there was nothing he could do for me for 7 months. Following the offense from the opposing counsel , he included another attorney on my case charging me double for the work of one attorney. After many months and only one court date, I incurred $15,000 in legal expenses and was still not divorced. I could not wait any longer due to my financial situation and many lapsed court dates that were rescheduled, and a huge IRS laibility because my attorneys could not negotiate agreement on a joint return with opposing counsel, I had no choice to file for bankruptcy. After a lecture from my attorney on filing for bankruptcy to which I was very clear to him about and kept his staff updated and had also disclosed my monthly obligation to my attorney on my petition, he threatened to withdraw from my case and file an adversary position and then reconsiderd if I reaffirmed his debt. I elected to accept his withdrawal as I had no confidence he had my best interests at heart and within 30 days he filed his adversary position based on fraud when I was very clear from the beginnning of my financial situation and that I would ultimately need to file. I held out as long as I could on the bankruptcy so I could get divorced but he didn't have same urgency. The irony is I signed with him to help me get divorce and his position to sue me for fraud has further delayed my resolution of my financial issues and also prevented me from getting divorced at last court date. Even judge upon hearing my status on bankruptcy laughed and said "good luck to him". I paid him half of what I owed more than enough for the work I contributed and the charges of the additional attorney that I should not have incurred. I feel Attorney DiFrusicia is a prey to people in vulnerable positions and has no genuine desire to help people in difficult situations. I found him very patronizing telling you want you wanted to hear but doing nothing about it unless it impacted his bottomline.

Absolutely the worst experience I've had with an lawyer and I have dealt with several. He was nosey, unprofessional and rude. We made a deal with my wife's parents to buy there home. We tried to buy it 2 years ago but had some credit issues to resolve. We had agreed on a price for the property but it was less than the market would fetch but they wanted to keep it in the family. We where using Paul because I had told my father in law that a lot of times when you use an attorney you have used before they give a discount for return business. Basically he told them we where ripping them off even though we told them to get the house appraised. He charged double for the closing costs. paid people twice we had already paid out of our pocket and then told us we had to get the money back ourselves. He told my wives parents that their closing costs where 7 thousand dollars less than they where so we got stuck paying an extra 7 grand at closing. We couldn't complain! We where already getting a deal on the house. So we had to eat it and smile. last of all we had an appointment for the closing for 2:30pm on a Friday. He had me sit on his brick porch for 45 minutes on a 90 degree day so he could squeeze in another closing before mine (last minute). If I could give him no stars I would.

The attorney decided to keep $10,000 of my money at closing because of the Columbia gas outage and explosions in the neighborhood which caused my property to be without gas at time of closing. After the closing was done he tried to bully me into keeping my $10,000 and giving it to the buyer against our agreement. He would not talk to me on the phone he would hang up on me and he would not reply to my emails and told me to hire an attorney of my own. Extremely unprofessional and arrogant. Was selling my house and as the closing attorney, Russell claimed that he delegated the title search to another attorney who could not clear it. Like Susanne's experience, Russell was no help at all with this issue so I had no choice but involve a THIRD attorney who had NO TROUBLE clearing title. Russell just couldn't be bothered to even try. Or course he was more than happy to pass the cost of the failed attempt to clear as well as the successful title clearing cost on to me. At the closing, he also provided a generous dose of arrogance when he thratened to cancel the closing if I refused to pay ALL the fees. Even his office paralegal told me that I shouldn't have to pay the fees. Thanks for NOTHING.

I was extremely disappointed in Carol's lack of professionalism - she never returned my phone calls. I was telling her what to do as far as moving forward with complaints, etc. in my divorce.
