Keith handled my case to a very successful outcome. When I initially reached out to him, I was very anxious. He was a great listener and immediately put my mind at ease. He was informative and super responsive throughout the process. He was supremely confident in what we would be able to achieve, and he delivered. I highly recommend Keith!

Keith Oliver is an excellent lawyer who cares for his clients. As soon as I placed a request online for some questions about my case, he immediately texted me back while I was at work during my nightshift and we had a conversation on what to expect going forward. Right there I knew that he was the right lawyer for the job. He could of just waited until the next day or two to call me back, yet because of his responsiveness to my situation, I hired him. He stuck by my side through the long drawn out process which was out of our control. Whether your situation is big or small, Keith will fight tooth and nail for you. His straight to the point attitude and aggressive nature will ease your mind knowing that you hired the right lawyer for your particular situation. Give him a chance and call him, you won't be disappointed. Keith is a great lawyer. He's my super lawyer! Google him and you will see his background of accomplishments and achievements. Hopefully I won't get into a situation like this again, but if I do you are number one on my contact list. Thanks for being by my side for two and a half years. Until next time my freind and best wishes for success at your firm.

I have to say when I first spoke to Stephen to explain my situation, I was a bit scared as this would be my first time hiring a lawyer. Stephen made me feel confident after hiring him as he never made any false promises or made me feel like he just wanted my money. He took his time explaining all of my options and that pricing was extremely reasonable. Trust me I shopped around before making a decision. He was always available to me even if I had a simple question, he picked up the phone or even gave me a text with a follow-up call. This man will always be my go-to lawyer for any situation. Stephen delivered on my court date getting everything worked out in my favor.

I am an individual that wrote and submitted a utility patent for a clean energy idea to WIPO pro se (by myself) which was rejected. Brian cleaned up my work and helped me submit the patent to the USPTO. He did a great job to work with me under my very limited budget and treated me like a top client nonetheless. I am very grateful to say that my patent was granted and issued earlier this month. I highly recommend him.

I do not recommend this firm. As seniors, we needed a will - a simple will. We went to T. Dengler who, as an estate lawyer, was trusted to advise us properly. A few simple questions turned into a Trust that we did not understand nor did we ask for and we told him so. He gave us a brief explanation and we told him we still didn't understand - he encouraged us to sign. Also, although we were quoted a price for this will, the Trust fees were never discussed or mentioned. Asking him how much he replied he had to "figure it out". We were distressed and sleepless worrying how much this would cost. I will state that this was settled after our complaint but now we have to start over and this has left us to distrust lawyers, Do your homework, you can get more info from Google.

Tim Dengler and his assistant is the absolute best. Free consult, explained everything in such a way that my husband and I completely understood. We felt very comfortable and his fees were very affordable. Would use again and highly recommend!

My experience with Brian Wilton, and his staff, was wonderful. Brian made sure I was given the appropriate medical care and compensation for my work related injury. After a painful surgery and months of physical therapy, he made sure everything was taken care of each step of the way. I recommend Brian Wilton to my friends and family and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

If I could give this lawyer no stars I would. I've decided to hire Brian Wilton as my attorney based on his reviews, ratings on avvo, and superlawyers, and his credentials as also being mayor of Lake Como, NJ. My case was an injury case. I have been out of work for almost 5 months. Within those 5 months I have had no medical treatment and/or physical therapy for my injuries. I have had x-rays done however, no MRI and/or possible surgery. Brian said that I could have had an MRI done a long time ago. As an attorney he could have fought to get me an MRI done but didn't. Brian wanted me to go back to work w/o any treatment. I felt like I was being medically neglected. I told him that the state statute clearly says that if the other party refuses or neglects to provide health services reasonable and necessary to cure and relieve me of the effects of the injury or restore proper function where possible, I may take action and file a Motion for Medical. Brian didn't want to do that. I felt like he was no longer on my side but on the other party side. He said that I have to build a case meaning my case wasn't strong enough. If my case wasn't strong enough then why did he take the case for in the first place to begin with? My case has been dragging on and I wasn't getting the energy from him. He may be an experienced attorney but not a aggressive attorney who will fight and defend their client. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Brian Wilton. He says one thing one day and another the other. He got loud by raising his voice at me and told me he doesn't like me telling him how to do his job. I'm the client and the victim, he suppose to work for me. He told me to find another lawyer and he was gonna dismiss my case. Is it this hard to ask for help, treatment for my injuries?

Frankly, I do not know what I would have done without her. Lamiaa was recommended to me by a friend. She's been doing cases like this for a decade. As most people are aware, the USCIS receives hundreds of thousands if not millions of petitions, and because of that, they are very strict on the paperwork and deadlines. Lamiaa notified me about small details that could be the reason whether or not my petition gets sent back. Being rejected before, this could have been the reason why I had not just one but multiple applications received and accepted. It took forever, but I have peace of mind knowing that Lamiaa was very familiar with the process.

I hired this lawyer this year. It's the biggest mistake I ever made. First, she lost all my documents and called me while I was off that Friday. I had to drive 5 hours back home to email her all the information. Second, when I need a simple explain or question from her, she always has excuse to delay and refuse to see or talk to you. For example, I asked for my LCA application and H1B receipt # in April 2013. She refused to give to me. This year I didn't get my H1B for FY 2014, I asked for the reason. She said I was unlucky that I wasn't selected through the lottery. But now since I'm leaving the previous company, I asked her again, she had to admit there is never a receipt # from USCIS for my petition. Which means, she did something wrong. Because even if I wasn't selected through the lottery, as long as my petition was received by USCIS, I would have a receipt #. Third, when I asked her for the receipt # recently, she said she was annoyed, she has no time to answer my questions. How can she say that? I only email her two simple questions... She is such a bad lawyer. she is irresponsibility, totally screw all the thing and waste my chance and time. she is also very rude. worst of all, she is not professional.

This is really a bad lawyer ever. I would advice you keep away from this lawyer. I had hired this lawyer, Lamiaa Elfar, but she did not help me much other than a poor cover letter. My application, EB1A, form I140, was rejected. The main reason is my recommendation letters and cover letter were not clearly explained details of my application. This lawyer did not help me anything on the recommendation letters, even I asked her. She rarely pickup and answer your phone or even just reply your email. When ever she need your money she will pick up phone. So bad lawyer ever. She has no responsibility for your application.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

  2. Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case.
  3. Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association.

Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to gauge client satisfaction.
  5. Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field.
  6. Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation.
  7. Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  8. Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  1. Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as contracts, correspondence, legal notices, court papers, or evidence.
  2. Written Summary:

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

  • Fee Structures:
    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.
    • Flat Fee:
For routine legal services like drafting a will or handling an uncontested divorce, lawyers might offer a flat fee.
    • Retainer Fee:
An upfront payment against which the lawyer bills hourly fees.
    • Contingency Fee:
Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
