We are grandparents. Our son died in 2018. Our daughter-in-law was arrested for DUI and endangerment. We had to seek emergency custody. We needed to fight for joint custody to ensure our grandson was safe, well educated, and properly cared for. Pete was responsive, fought hard, and guided us through a very messy court case. We were successful and now have a joint custoday agreement with residential custody. We are very grateful we found Pete. He was always assessable and responded incredibly quickly. He even returned emails on weekends and at night. His office staff in very supportive, kind, and responsive. We have no doubt our journey with our daughter-in-law is not over. We will be using Pete in the future to help us protect our grandson and ourselves.

Melanie is so laid back and approachable. I had gone to another lawyer for estate planning and didn't want to return for a needed update because of some issues we had with him. I was referred to Melanie and wish I had gone to her first!! She is super knowledgeable and communicates in everyday language that made it really easy to understand what needed to be done. Her fees are also reasonable for the outstanding value she provides. I highly recommend Melanie for any estate planning, wills, etc. and anything else she can help with!

After being injured on the job, I was searching online for a workers comp lawyer who could help me. I met Mr. Talone and made an appointment to see him. Our first meeting was very informative in that he explained the workers compensation laws covering the state of New Jersey. While we talked about my injury I became confident that he would be able to assist me in recovering monies for my injury. He got the employer to set appointments with an Orthopedist. Although they didn't want to, he was relentless and got an appointment with the Orthopedist within a day of our conversation. He is professional and stays on top of his client's cases. I originally used Ben I believe is 2006 to sell a house in Medford Lakes. I was transferring out of state and he made it very easy to deal with even though I was not close. When I moved back to NJ and wanted to purchase a condo, I used Ben again and the process was just as smooth. In 2011 I moved outof state again and used Ben to sell my condo. And finally just this year I had to move my father from NJ to NH to be closer to me. I put his home up for sale and Ben was extremely helpful. And my sale got complicated when my father passed away between contract signing and closing. Ben was very helpful in navigating through both the power of attorney side and the probate side. He also knew when he was out of his expertise and suggested I talk to an estate lawyer in both NH and C NJ (needed given the situation)

I highly recommend Matthew Podolnick for any divorce/custody battle. He spent four years fighting for my son and I. He is highly educated, very well spoken and written. I was facing a DUI charge and several other tickets from the accident, including leaving the scene of the accident. Chris not only went above and beyond to find every little detail of my case. He spent his time going through to find possible mistakes to help my side of the case and was very persistent to receive all the documentation from the police. He truly cares about his clients he will go back to court as much as needed to help get the best end result. I blew a 0.19 and from his attention to detail my reading was thrown out. Back in March I was forced to move into an apartment. As a first time renter, I have never looked at a lease let alone one that was 40+ pages.
I had ten days to be out of my home and was anxious to sign my first lease, especially one with over 40+ pages. My friend recommended I call Sam and gave me his phone number. After I called, Sam had me send him my lease for him to review.
By the end of the day, Sam had reviewed my lease and was able to walk me through what everything meant. I was impressed that it only took him a few hours to break the entire lease down and explain it to me like I was five.
I am very glad I called and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I hired Sam to sell our existing home as sale by owner and buy new one via an agent. It turned out to be the other way around as sale was thru an agent and and I bought from the seller directly. Sam was excellent navigating us thru each step of the process and made the Agent/Sale by Owner switch very smooth. Sam and his office were excellent on follow-ups and remembering where the process is for each transaction is as I was talking about two properties at one point. Also big thanks to Sam's assistant Dalton as he is excellent. I would recommend Sam for his services.

I was a defendant in a civil matter/wrongful termination suit. After consulting with several other attorney's I know personally, I consulted with Kate, and was at ease immediately with her. After giving her a brief background of the case, she agreed to represent me and immediately attempted to negotiate a settlement that would protect my interests. After several attempts, including with a mediator to settle the case, counsel for the other party insisted on a trial and left a VERY sizable settlement offer on the table. The case went to trial, and not to brag, but Kate and Co-counsel embarrassed the other party. The writing was on the wall that the judge was about to dismiss the entire case, so the other party agreed to a pittance of a settlement far less than was on the table prior to trial. Needless to say I was very happy with the result and extremely impressed by all the work Kate did on the case. I would not hesitate to utilize her service's again, and have recommended her to several other parties, and all have been very happy!

I am a police officer and Union representative in New Jersey and our department was experiencing workplace retaliation and civil rights violations. Attorney Katie Hartman was recommended to me by another officer who was experiencing similar problems within his department. Upon my first interaction with Katie she gets right down to business. She allows you to tell your situation and will determine whether she feels you have a definitive case. Needless to say due to her knowledge and experience we were able to settle out of court in a period of nine months even going against a heavy hitting law firm. Katie is a pit bull. She listens to what is being said and then counter attacks making her opposition look foolish. I would definitely recommend Katie to any police officer or union official who feels they are being retaliated or targeted by their administration. I would also recommend Katie for legal representation. She is now my departments first choice when it comes to any counsel with legal services whether civil or criminal. My son got himself into some trouble in college a couple years ago when he was 18. We initially hired an attorney that was a friend of a family member. After viewing the discovery he told us our best option was a plea deal for 3 years in state prison! He explained that due to the way the law is written, and my son's immediate confession when questioned by police, there was nothing anyone could do to reduce that sentence. We didn't want to accept that deal so we sought different representation, but in the back of our minds we believed that attorney and were devastated. My son had never been in trouble before or since, and was extremely remorseful. I worried how 3 years in state prison would change him.
We were introduced to Mike from a police officer friend who told us that Attorney's Hartman was so good he and his fellow officers dreaded having to face them in court. Mike was empathetic from the start. He reviewed our case, listened to our concerns and got right to work. Despite the snail's pace of the courts during the pandemic, and multiple changes in the prosecutor assigned to our case, Mike was relentless in his attempts to negotiate for a better deal and kept us abreast of the situation as it evolved. He was able to have the charge reduced from a 2nd degree to a 3rd degree, and the 3 year state prison sentence reduced to 180 days in county jail. Many lawyers would be very satisfied with that achievement, but Mike didn't rest. Mike argued at sentencing for an even further reduction to no jail component, so well, in fact, that the prosecutor stated in open court that they would not appeal if the judge decided on a reduced sentence with no jail component. The judge ultimately sentenced him to 90 days in county jail followed by probation. Mike still didn't rest. Ten days later my son was released from jail upon admission into a program that Mike facilitated after sentencing. He is the reason my son will be home for the Holidays this year with a newfound gratitude for his second chance. Mike is genuine, capable, kind, diligent, compassionate, skilled, and relentless. He achieved what many other attorneys couldn't, or wouldn't, and my family is eternally grateful.

Mr. Mormando recently helped me through a DUI charge. It was my first time (and last time!) and I had no idea what to do. I had never even been in a courtroom before. Mr. Mormando explained everything to me with exacting detail as to what to expect in court, the possible penalties, repercussions and what would happen after the verdict was rendered. He was always available to me when I called, answered every one of my questions patiently, sent me detailed emails explaining exactly what was happening with my case, and thoroughly went through all of my evidence and options. I had a fraudulent TRO against me to gain an advantage in a divorce proceeding. Ted successfully won the case. His office staff was diligent an always polite. Although this was an extremely trying time and I was removed from the matrimonial home in the peak of Covid, the Rosenberg staff held me down tremendously.
