I called several attorneys to represent me in court. Everyone was telling me they were not taking any cases. I asked each for a lead and eventually Gilbert and Gilbert were one of the leads. Pete wanted the details and I left nothing out. Pete met with me every court date, and helped navigate a continuance when a date fell on a vacation week. He was a pleasure to deal with. Attempted to get ahold of this law office for help with a vehicle claim. Heard great reviews. But did not receive the same service. I called once spoke with the receptionist. I asked to speak with one of the lawyers. I called 2 weeks later to ask again. And once again received no call back. Seems like they definitely need to invest in a new receptionist.

My son was arrested and we reached out to George Freeman I spoke to George on the phone and he came across as very caring person and it was and my gut instinct told me he was honest. My son had been arrested and we had no idea where to turn or what to do next. George spoke with me at length and we agreed to a payment schedule that worked with our budget. I had a case which I never thought I would have in my life. I had all sorts of emotions as I was getting ready for a career that if this case didn’t go my way it would hurt me in my future. When I contacted Mr. Freeman and his team they told me the process of what to expect during the start to finish. This helped calm me down as I had no idea what to expect. George truly puts “advocate” in “legal representation.” My family was recently named in a suit regarding a motor vehicle accident, and when our insurer repeatedly refused to settle with the plaintiff, we approached George for counsel. He immediately put me at ease. He explained the process clearly and mapped out the likely outcomes. He subsequently worked with the plaintiff and our insurer to make sure our interests were properly represented. From the time I came to Washington began trying to get my self on track. A big step I took this year was filing for bankruptcy I was not taught about credit or how important of a impact it would be on my life as a grown adult in society. So i fell into some hardships garnishments affected my pay check fell behind on bills and struggled. Thanks to Mark and our 7-8 month case I will officially be done next week or two and be discharge to start my new line of credit and new finical journey. Jason and his team felt like family by the time we went to trial. I would hire him again to represent my own children or anyone in my family, which is the highest compliment I can give. Hopefully we won’t need him again though!
Jason was not our first lawyer for our case, so we had a much better idea of what we needed while reaching out to multiple lawyers to find our replacement. He got us through one of the worst times in our lives. He genuinely cared about us and the end result.

super happy with Conner Law. After an accident that was not my fault (it was clear) I had very reasonable expectations of settling. Their insurance offered me 10% or what I thought fair. Not enough for a weekend of going out for two.
I threw up my hands and grabbed Conner Law to handle it. It was a bit random, to be clear, that I used Conner Law. I previously talked to another lawyer that wanted ME to do a bunch of legwork. Not what I was in for. Conner handled everything, I did nothing.
Outcome? I netted 40% more than my honest and reasonable settlement I offered their insurance. That's net. Such a screwed up system and approach by the insurance company. I'll never deal with insurance companies direct again. So, I will use Conner Law again. Very happy and just got the check. so, an immediate happy

It might be the situation that nothing will be gained but satisfaction from a lawsuit. Joe is thoughtful of these facts and advise not to spend good money after bad. Considering that what has happened to me is criminal the end result is best to incarcerate the individual. I expect no financial gain as my situation is a no win. At the least my legal issue has and will continue to involve government and is causing a slight interest in new legislation. I will continue to fight as my military carrier has taught me to do. I will win for the citizens of Skagit County and the county government as a whole.

Holly was the ideal advocate for me while going through a difficult child custody case. She made me feel empowered at every step of the court process and was so knowledgeable about the details, that she nearly predicted the outcome of every court hearing! She was my teacher, my counselor and my supporter which I desperately needed on my side. Without her, I do not believe that I would have had the outcome that I did. She was always available to me, no matter what, she answered all of my questions, without concern for charging me for each and every second. She met with me whenever possible and she made me feel as if we were a part of a team, even though this was my personal issue and the outcome would not directly affect her personally, she never made me feel as if my questions, concerns or fears were unimportant. I never thought I'd be getting divorced, and I was sick about the whole thing, but Holly Newman's mediation smoothed out the process and let us concentrate on fairness and doing what was right. She provided us with packages of all the forms and requirements, and over a few meetings, walked us through the details. She always seemed sympathetic to our situation, without taking sides. She took us through the questions that needed to be answered and turned it all into completed forms for us to sign, then presented it all in court, without our having to be there.
I wouldn't wish a divorce on anybody, but our marriage had fallen apart, and Holly eased us past the worst of it so we can get on with our lives.

I liked how at ease he was during the whole process from beginning to end. You can tell he's done this many times, and he knows what to expect and what to do next. The only thing that caught me by surprise was the additional fees. He is upfront about his 40% contingency fee and let's you know there is an additional charge for filing fees and whatnot. However the additional fees are 2000.00$ on top of the 40% which is already a little higher than the 33.3% that other lawyers charge. I just wish I would have known that or maybe I overlooked that in the contract.

she's very supportive and willing to do what is best for you, the client or customer. She even replies to emails on weekends, I hope she does well when we do and if I decide to go trial. There are so much to my case it's insanely whacked. Even involves a domestic violence outside of Snohomish county reason why I won't take the plea for it is as the other person may very well be released from all his illegal activities he does. Jessica understands the situation and she knows what is best for me but right now I think going to fight in the trial knowing from my heart that I am innocent and she can fight for me I know she can go all the way, I believe so much in Jessica she's just got that power inside her, very strong business even a counselor, she's everything she can do anything. Also her selection in clothing are absolutely just amazing ensemble. She's almost the legally blonde (movie) in real life, but even better.

Michael D. Laws persuaded me 8 years ago (at a very young age) to plead guilty and accept a deal to an offense I did not commit in order to lighten his case load. His strategy was “if we go to trial they could give you the maximum sentence which would be 2 years in prison”. Me being a fresh out of high school and recently enrolled in college young guy was deathly afraid of what prison would do to me so I took his “advice” and plead guilty. Now 8 years later with two kids I have trouble finding a job to support my family because of a charge that is on my record. Needless to say, would not recommend.

Gave him money to start my chapter 7 and got it started then he all of a sudden bailed on me without even saying he was. I all of a sudden got a partial refund check in the mail and I tried several times to contact him and he never responded. Stole money from me for doing nothing. Would NOT recommend at all, money thief.

Initially I thought he was on the same page advocating for my kids wishes and keeping their lifestyle the same as it had been prior to separation. I quickly realized how far his priorities were from mine. In trying to convince me to sign the collaborative agreement, which in our first meeting I did not have the buy in as it seemed I was getting bulldozed, he called to say a few things that were shocking. That on paper I wasn’t marketable so I needed to start thinking about how I was going to start supporting myself(stay at home mom for 12 years w/o a degree in my 40’s). He said the visitation schedule I was fighting for (every weekend w dad, all other time w me as I homeschool, while dad was fighting for 50/50)was “small peas” compared to the “big picture” and that without the collaborative process I’d likely be homeless and in poverty in a year. Whoa. It was like he was trying to get me to release him from retainer so my spouse could then be released as the 2 lawyers were friends. Or did he actually think he was helping me by saying those things? In my option he was unprofessional, demeaning and completely displayed no advocacy for the children.
