Anu was exceptional at listening, providing guidance, and suggesting creative approaches to build a strong case based on my credentials and strengths. She was always reachable by email or phone. Ian was also very supportive and super responsive. Veena and Aishwarya prepared the petition, and while it took a few months longer than anticipated, they ensured the case was well-presented with sufficient evidence. Your credit card will be charged. I was charged over $10,000 in one month for a contested divorce. I do not recommend this large firm, as they are looking for billable hours. Effie was distant from me and made no effort to get to know my story. I chose the Limited Representation and when you Google this, there should be a partnership. Instead, she did everything and didn't even know how to use Dropbox. I would not recommend this firm.

Attorney Cummings was wonderful. I went to her for a prenuptial agreement and this was my first experience with a lawyer. She was personable, responsive, and explained complex terminology in layman's terms. She helped us create a fair agreement within the necessary timeframe. My inability to give 5 stars (I would say 4.5) results from some lack of communication from the firm, and I will preface that I am an anxious person by nature. Attorney Cummings was out of the office for an unexpected amount of time due to a significant personal emergency. While I would not have expected communication from her or continued work on my case during that time, I do wish someone from the firm could have been more communicative about what to expect. With more communication, I would have spent less time worrying about finalizing before our deadline. It made the experience a bit more stressful than it should have been. I provided this feedback to Attorney Turco and do believe it was well received. Overall, I would fully recommend Attorney Cummings. She went above and beyond for my prenuptial agreement. Additionally, Attorney Cummings and the firm were communicative about the closing out process and when I would receive my retainer.

I contacted Attorney Karpf after my initial lawyer withdrew due to my inability to pay mounting legal fees. I was in the middle of a highly contested divorce and only three weeks away from my Pre-Trial hearing—a very stressful and uncertain time.
Attorney Karpf took the time to thoroughly review my case and provide valuable advice and consulting services, even though I was unable to retain him as my primary attorney for financial reasons. His expertise and guidance were instrumental in helping me navigate the complexities of my case until its resolution.
What also stood out was the level of communication. Attorney Karpf promptly and thoughtfully addressed all my urgent concerns, providing clear and practical solutions. His professionalism, deep knowledge of family law, and ethical approach gave me a sense of reassurance during one of the most difficult times in my life.
Finally, and I have to mention it because it is important in a divorce, Attorney Karpf's fees were clear, honest, and affordable, which is not always easy to find in such a contentious and highly emotionally charged process.

A. Joseph Ross represented me on two separate landlord cases when I was a tenant. He was an absolute fun to work with and he won both my cases. He isn't shy to puff out his chest and go for the bad guys, and he also helped write the landlord tenant laws when he worked for Dukakis. He knows the law in and out and there are no second guesses. I usually don't write reviews buy I felt compelled to share my experience with Steve. Now here's the thing I called at 5:30 pm on a Saturday and he answered! It was on a whim and im so happy that I found him and reached out. I explained my what I feel might be a "messy" situation trying to get divorced. He listened with no judgement and told me that I already seem to know what to do but let me help you if i can. He offered for me to fill out all my paperwork (because the court house lost my divorce paperwork SMH) and when I have it all in order to email him and he said he will not charge me for him to look it over. I have called a couple lawyers and no one ever offered me anything like this. I feel he really heard me and I am just so grateful that he answered my call. Going forward if I need to retain he is who I will be retaining. This man is very kind, humble and just a good guy. Thank you Steve you gave me my hope back that I lost for some time. I wish I could give more then 5 stars!

I rarely write online reviews, but i think it is critical in this instance, firstly, because I used Avvo in assisting with my legal selection and consumers need this data. So, I will be as honest as I can.
Attorney Zlochiver is principled. I found his service to be based upon fairness and seeking the best outcome within the limits of the law, and done with an un-excitable, stable spirit. This sometimes was a sticking point for us. My opponent was aggressive and angry, and I wanted more energy; wisely, Attorney Zlochiver did not return all of the flaming brands I requested of him. In the end, for better or worse, he tempered my anger and frustration with my case.
Attorney Zlochiver is responsive. He was always reachable by email and phone. Reasonable response times were always met.
In summary, if you are seeking retribution and revenge, I don't think you'll find satisfaction here. I occasionally felt as though we could have been more aggressive--going on the offensive vs. a defensive posture, but Steve knew it would have been a futile, mis-use of my fee and he was careful about fee utilization.

In searching for a family lawyer, I had three criteria:
1) A competent lawyer who is familiar with the presiding judge. It is important that the lawyer knows what the judge looks for in a case both in the court room and the filed documentation. He was able to advise of the proper strategy to get the best case scenario without having the situation spiral into a more contentious case.
2) An objective lawyer who has enough court-room experience to be realistic in assessing possible outcomes. Rather than simply being hopeful, he suggested contingencies for the most plausible decisions that the judge may make during the hearing.
3) An understanding lawyer who would work with my limited budget & time. Mr. Zlochiver took on my case knowing of my financial situation and worked into the late evening on new documentation in order to bolster my case the following morning.
Steven Zlochiver certainly does not comes to mind when you think of the typical ambulance-chasing lawyer. Not a shark. Not a clock watcher. Rather, someone you definitely want in your corner who is willing to relate to your circumstances.

I met Michael after my case had gone on for over 5 years and had burnt out my previous attorney. He took my case, got his team working on it, and within less than 2 years, despite a massive opposition from the insurance company, won. He defended me without compromise, always showed genuine concern for my wellbeing, and presented my case in court with true professional and technical skill.
I can't put into words how appreciative I am for the work Michael did in presenting my side of the story and letting the truth be known. With the end of the case and the closure I found afterward my life and health have improved by multitudes and that is a direct result of his efforts and representation. There is no dollar amount that can be put on that and no greater gift.

Hands down, Attorney Gillis is the attorney you want by your side guiding you. When people ask you "Do you have a Good Attorney" be rest assured that Michael Gillis is THAT good attorney.
Michael delivered us from a nightmare of a criminal case that was so unbelievable we were approached by the New York Times to cover the case. In addition, there was very little precedent set, if any, that actually matched the various aspects and moving parts of our case.
I do not take writing this review lightly at all so when I say Michael was exceptional and saved my son's life and future please believe it. He was able to navigate us through a criminal case as well as a school discipline case and restore my son's future to him. I will never be able to thank Michael enough for his service, guidance, and compassion through our ordeal.

I recently had the pleasure to work with Kristina Yee Vitullo. Unfortunately, I got myself into a situation where I had made, what was for me, a large deposit, much of which was not refundable. As time went on, I realized I did not want to go forward for a variety of reasons. The situation was complex. Kristina is extremely bright and personable and was quick to understand the situation. She wrote a brilliant letter to the organization I had contracted with, and within a few weeks, was able to obtain an 85% refund of my deposit for me. I was incredibly delighted and relieved.
Kristina is responsive, easy to work with, and as shown above, gets results quickly, without making a big deal of things, for an extremely fair cost.
