Earlier this year I was arrested for a crime I did not commit. I was facing a long time in prison if I was convicted. We had a jury trial and the jury found me “not guilty” thanks to Trey. He did a perfect job. He spent a lot of time and effort into building everything up to help me out. There wasn’t a single mistake or flaw in anything he did in and out of the courtroom.

Jerry Wallentine was my attorney for a reckless driving I had this last year. My first email to his office, I got a response from Jerry himself and within minutes I was on the phone with him and he had a game plan. I did look around comparing attorneys since I wasn’t from that area and by far Jerry was my top pick. Jerry absolutely knew what he was doing and seemed to know people in the right places. We weren’t able to get diversion due to certain things on my end and when my court date came, Jerry was right there with me. The court room was completely full and I still can’t believe it but Jerry got me to be seen first. We got exactly what we wanted out of it and Jerry saved me from losing my license. Heather is very aggressive in defending her clients. She represented my ex-wife in our divorce and had no problem telling the judge outright lies and slandering my name in attempt to paint me as the "bad guy" in the divorce. She encouraged her client to try to have my mother arrested for harassment due to a few text messages that were actually polite and courteous. She encouraged her client to file a false police report against me after her client intentionally damaged her own property in a storage unit. She sent an IWO to my employer and had child support taken out of my pay check before the judge even signed the order. She sets her morals and ethics aside when defending her clients. She's expensive, but worth every penny if you need someone to strongly defend you in a difficult divorce.

We really liked working with this attorney. He explained to us exactly what we needed to do and what would take place on his part. We went to our appointment one day earlier than we should of but he fortunately had a cancellation at that time and gladly worked us in. Once we did everything he told us things went along smoothly. There were no surprises because if he wasn't there in court he would make sure another attorney would be there to represent us. Background -
I suffered a severe head injury in Johnson County (I lived in Missouri at the time) that left me extremely sensitive to light and noise, a death sentence for a construction contractor. I was left unable to work and I hired an attorney who promised to sue and win.
Long story short, the first injury attorney (located in Kansas City) dropped the ball and let my case languish for 3years before it was almost dismissed. I fired that attorney and hired Jeremiah Johnson's office to try and salvage my case.
Jeremiah and his staff immediately jumped into the case and prepared it for trial. They deposed the defendant and his colleagues which led to a substantial settlement a few weeks before trial. My life was changed for the better by his efforts - I would still be suffering on a daily basis without thier help.
Jeremiah never failed to answer the phone or call me back like my first attorney. He always kept me in the loop, compared to my first attorney who would go months without a word.
Jeremiah also hired a medical expert who put a value on my permanent disability. This seemed to be a key to me getting a settlement that was literally 10 times what was previously offered when my old attorney was involved.
I highly recommend Jeremiah and his office to anyone who has a personal injury/permanent disability case in Kansas City.

When I first started thinking about filing bankruptcy I started reading online what my options were. Then I started making appointments with lawyers to see what they could tell me. Every single one pushed me to file Chapter 13 vs Chapter 7, they would tell me things that I knew were not true. Then I met William Turner, he was the first lawyer who told me the whole truth. He layed it out from all angles and let me put the pieces together. He didn't try to push me either way. I knew he was being honest because I could verify everything he said through other sources. Once I made the decision to file he made the process very easy. He was straight forward and no nonsense. The best thing I ever did was hire him to file my bankruptcy. I was recently in need of a Bankruptcy Lawyer. After having consultations with several lawyers I decided to have Mr. Turner represent me. Little did I know that this was one of the best decisions I would ever make. Mr. Turner advised me on all the information and paperwork that he would need from me. He gave me a cost of what the process was going to cost me and explained the cost of any extras. With the guidance of his staff getting all the information that he required was a breeze for me to get together. Anytime I called his office my call was returned within 24 hours and 99% of the time it was within a few hours. He has a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. On court day Mr. Turner made a very professional appearance while there were other lawyers there (that I had consultations with) that because of the way they were dressed didn't look like lawyers. My Turner and his staff made a very hard situation a lot easier for me. Because of the guidance and good communications his staff provides the initial price that Mr. Turner gave me is exactly what it cost me so there were no surprises. I am very thankful for him and his staff and will definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Beth was the best attorney I could've hired to protect my son and myself and always put our best interests first. Mr. Hall was my attorney who handled the foreclosure case on my house and my father's probate. He worked with the lender's attorney and appeared at the Judge's conference to help me obtain a mortgage modification for my house. The mortgage foreclosure case was dismissed. On the probate case, he was very good with explaining about the probate process as the case went through probate. His fees were reasonable and affordable.
