My wife and I chose Mr. Herzog to assist us with a difficult and complicated cross-country purchase of our new home in Pasco County. Mr. Herzog’s oversight during negotiations, intervening on our behalf when necessary, and also catching errors in the closing paperwork (written by the title firm representing the seller) ultimately brought the transaction to a successful conclusion.

Was faced with a thorny problem with mobile home park over certain renovations that were promised and not delivered. General abusive behavior from the company caused flare-ups of my PTSD which made it difficult for me to deal with them in a strong professional manner. Hired Ryan to take over the project and he saved me from having to deal with the company directly. Ryan came up with a good settlement suggestion which was accepted and everything has been finalized and thankfully, my life has returned to near normal. I was referred to Ryan Dirks when I was asked to assume a difficult estate matter for a family member. I live in Illinois and the estate was in Florida. It was impossible for me to monitor and attend to all matters of the estate. Not only did Ryan handle all the legal matters, he volunteered to handle serious personal matters that involved evicting squatters and dealing with the police in my absence. I have dealt with many lawyers over the years, but none have been as cooperative and helpful to me personally as Ryan has been with this matter. My husband and I decided to offer our son as part of his graduation present, a will... This may sound extremely unusual I can admit but if you think about it, they are legally adults and most likely leaving home for college. What if, God forbids, something was to happen to them? How many of us have taken the time to ask our children if they want to be cremated or buried? DNR? How much information can we get if them end up in a hospital because of the privacy/ HIPPA rules? What about their bank accounts/ credit cards/ loans? Completely unnatural for a parent to think that something tragic could happen to our adult children but trust me, the peace of mind that Henry provided to our family is priceless.

I heard from a lot of people that federal court is different than being charged in state court (that the penalties are pretty serious), and my family and I, to be blunt, were worried. Mr. Arendall and the firm Englander & Fischer have been representing myself and my companies for almost 4 years. Due to the housing crisis, and the major collapse in the building industry, I, like most other builder/developers, found ourselves in situations with banks that did not want to "ride out the storm" or renegotiate.

The review title really encompasses my experience working with Mr. Scavo. In my view, my case was unique due how it all had to be managed virtually. My accident occurred in Florida, but I live in Texas -just throw in a little Covid-19 in for good measure. Mr. Scavo always stayed in touch with me and always asked how I was feeling -he just seemed to really care about what I was going through. Mr. Scavo's knowledge of the process in dealing with insurance companies, along with the advice offered to me as negotiations were taking place, yielded a material difference in the settlement reached (in my favor). In other words, a total real estate guru. Michael is a great guy and tremendously knowledgeable. Can clarify complex and nuanced issues with precision, and in a way that allows a person to make not only informed but also smart decisions.
He's also a funny and enjoyable guy to be around...the best of both worlds.
