This is the guy you want to represent you!
A few months back a put myself in a bad situation that resulted in big handful of tickets.
Unfortunately my regular attorney had passed away just a few months before, so I searched Google till I found his website.
When contacting the office they responded very fast to give me a quote for my predicament.
A very reasonable flat rate, and very affordable payment options if you do not have the funds for paying in full.
Working with them was amazing! Extremely friendly and just common curiosity that is hard to find these days!
With constant reminders the day before court with a text, and a reassuring and positive attitude that he was going to do everything he could do to do the best that he could everytime we met.
He Definitely lived up to his word!
At the end of the hole ordeal he did better than what I was anticipating.
Not only would I use them again, I would recommend them to anyone!

My son brought a squirt gun to school and got caught with it. I know this is a silly reason to need and attorney. The school board wanted to expel him for one full year for bringing a "weapon" to school. My son should have known better but we felt like a one year expulsion was too extreme. Paul represented us for the school board hearing. While doing some work on the case he discovered that the school district was not protecting my son's rights under the law regarding his 504 plan. Paul made sure everything was done by the book. He also opened up communication with the school board's attorney and got them to agree to a one month suspension that won't go on his record. If you need an educational law attorney, Paul is your guy!! It's obvious that he genuinely cares about his clients and what they are going through. 5 stars, highly recommend! Thanks again Paul!

I have hired attorneys in the past and was left with the feeling that my voice didn't matter. Being charged for the smallest things, even making a single copy and postage to mail a letter, seemed to be more of a priority. I had the exact opposite experience with Ms. Baluch. I literally had one of the most difficult cases known to family court with a bitter ex that made up lies and dragged me into court yearly for 16years of false allegations and manipulation to the point I almost lost my son. I had to deal with a situation that existed in both family court as well as criminal court. Right away Ali was both informative and empathetic. As a professional, she knows how the legal system works. Ali spent time 'on the other side' as a prosecutor, which I felt gave her an inside understanding of not only how the prosecution operates, but of what judges want and look for in a case. Ali informed myself and my wife right away to initiate things like counseling and parenting classes and not to wait for that to be ordered. 1) Because you don't want to get MONTHS into your case and then have the system spring something on you that you could have been doing all that time and 2) It shows that you're pro-active in your case. She never painted a picture of unrealistic expectations and yet, at the same time, she managed to stoke the fires of hope and resolve. The above mentioned advice alone probably shaved 3-4 months off of my family court case. It's little things like that that become big things that Ali has an inside understanding of.
As a person, Ali took a personal interest in me and my family. She readily viewed pictures of my kids and even helped my eldest with a few decisions about college. Ali is a genuine person and she really does care.
To be frank, the court system is hell. Pick one reason or pick several, it's a sea of hell. Ali acted as a legal compass through it all.
I don't give this review with any amount of light heartedness. DCFS came and took my youngest son into state custody for over 1 year. In my heart I truly feel that if it had not been for Ali Leonard, that time would have been excruciatingly longer or worse, they may not have returned him at all. It's via her strength, her knowledge and her determination that I have my son today and my family is whole. Even when my monetary debt reads zero, I will never be able to truly pay her back. Estate planning is something that is easy to put off. It’s not fun to think of one’s own mortality and I put it off for a long time. After all, I reasoned, I don’t have much money or many possessions to leave others. But I do have pets that I want to be assured will be appropriately cared for after my death. Kathy Johnson walked me through the process of creating end of life documents, and, most importantly, a pet trust.
It wasn’t easy thinking about being separated from my beloved pets but Kathy gently guided me through the process of determining who will assume responsibility for them and how they should be cared for when I no longer can. She was endlessly understanding of my myriad questions and requests, patiently explaining to me all of my options in ways easily understandable for a non-legal mind. She made astute and intuitive suggestions so that I now feel assured that when I become incapacitated, any pets I have will continue to live their best lives in the homes of trusted friends.
After she created the required documents and saw that they were all duly signed and notarized, she presented them to me in a lovely binder complete with easy to read instructions for whoever might need it someday. I feel that Kathy left nothing to chance, detailing every aspect of my end of life requests and from her estate planning work on my behalf, I derive great peace of mind.

Kathy Johnson’s assistance was invaluable to me as I started my new, small business. She helped me understand Illinois laws, so I could make an informed choice about the legal structure of my business. Kathy obtained all of the required state and federal business identification numbers and permits; she registered my new business with all the required agencies, providing me with copies of the completed documents. She advised me on potential tax implications, wrote an iron clad liability (including COVID-19) waiver, created effective (and attractive) registration forms, and generally was available to me every time I had a question or concern.

And now it is over. Mr. Hart was consulted by me and my husband because we were in over our heads financially. We made poor financial decisions through and through. I remember spending hours at a time sitting at the table trying to pay bills. Sitting down once a month to pay bills became three to four times a week. I cried so many tears. We needed help and went to see Mr. Hart. I picked him from a random list and am so grateful that it was him that we consulted. We hired him at the end of our first meeting and I remember walking out of his office feeling like I could take a step back and breathe. “Please email me or call me anytime you have any questions” he said. And the emails and calls started. Frequently from me. I was scared and I was lost. I used Mr. Janas for financial and estate planning. His expertise was very enlightening when it came to coordinating my financial plan with my estate plan. Never before had I seen someone with his knowledge and proficiency in both of these areas. Craig is clearly a few notches above the rest. His ideas for my portfolio & estate plan were cutting-edge and made perfect sense. I could clearly understand his suggestions that were very well thought out.
In the end I had a financial plan that exceeded my goals, an estate plan that gave me the most control & least amount of taxes paid, and asset protection where I didn't have to worry about creditors, medicaid, nursing homes or challenges to my estate. I recommend sitting with Mr. Janas to hear his suggestions, he is a brilliant planner that everyone should talk to.
Having one person (Mr. Janas) handle all of my legal, tax and financial needs drastically cut down on the costs I would have to spend with three or four different people. Now I don't have those costs of paying all those people.
Also, the "team-approach" has failed me in the past when the "team" never coordinated or consulted with each other. It led to a financial, estate and tax disaster. All it took was one weak link and the team let me down. No longer, now I have the most sophisticated, educated planner in all the areas, truly an expert working in my corner. Thank you Mr. Janas.

I have been a client of Russell for over 5 years now and have been extremely satisfied. He has handled numerous cases for me stemming from a botched mortgage modification with the largest mortgage company in the country. I had a bicycle accident due to a neighbor's dog(s) charging me in the roadway causing a fall and significant damages to me. The neighbors are very nice people, but I decided to pursue a claim with their insurance company. I thought about trying to pursue my claim directly with the insurance company but decided that was not wise.
Since I did not have a lawyer, I used AVVO to find Dave Brassfield who had a strong numerical rating and outstanding personal recommendations. Additionally I could find nothing negative concerning his practice.
Dave was very professional and was able to achieve an amazing settlement in which the net proceeds were about 6 times the amount I thought I might achieve on my
own. And he handled everything quickly, professionally, and without hassle.

I found the Springer Law Firm on line and called them up. I was able to have questions resolved over the phone.
After meeting with Mr Springer I was told of my options and was not pressured into anything. The consultation was free even though I didn't file.
I had checked out other firms and was surprised to find out how much they charged. I even asked him how much it would be before I chose to not file. He had told my the price and I was surprised at how much less it would have been to go through him.
I highly recommend this firm! They are the most affordable, with the highest quality of work (at least what I experienced). They were always responsive and proved to be knowledgeable. I hate to think how much I could have paid if I was convinced to file with another law firm. It's nice to know there are people out there that don't try to take advantage of you.

Attorney Patrick Moore accepted my personal injury case after another law firm (which claimed to specialize in personal injury cases) withdrew from the case. The original law firm had my case for 4 years, and their stated reason for withdrawal was that my medical records did not clearly support the insurance claim, and the case was therefore too complicated. Because the case was 4 years old, no other lawyers wanted to even look at it, but Attorney Moore agreed to review it. He accepted the case without hesitation, and was successful in getting the insurance company to pay on the claim without going to Court. There was no hype or sugar coating. He always responded promptly to my phone calls and emails, and provided updates as developments occurred. Brian Morgan was recommended to me when I had a contract dispute with a Rockford Roofing/Siding Contractor. This contractor did not deliver on services promised. When there was issue with the quality of the work done, the contractor refused to finish the work and demanded payment in full. I sent them a check for the work that was finished, and the contractor used family legal representation and sued me. Brian Morgan gave me a fair estimate at the beginning of the case and then did more work than I expected as the case dragged out completely fulfilling his part of the original agreement. Brian uncovered discrepancies in the contractor’s contract and pointed out multiple instances where the contractor was clearly attempting to defraud me. Brian exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to reach a final settlement. I don’t know if that contractor learned anything about customer service, but Brian clearly understands what it means to deliver top value at a fair cost. Brian has a firm grasp on contract law and made no secret that he does not like dishonest contractors. His actions speak for him.

Brian Morgan is the attorney for you if you need criminal, Dcfs help etc. He is honest and trustworthy and very, very knowledgeable about the law. Being a former assistant State's attorney really helps. He is very kind and will listen to all you have to say. I first became focused on finding ways for our district to re-invest in its amateur sports tournament facilities in 2011. For nearly two decades before, our district had earned a national reputation for being a leader in hosting amateur sports tournaments. While we invested in our facilities over those years, we did not do so at the same pace as other communities and the competitive environment was leading to a loss in our reputation. I was committed to retaining and regaining that reputation which is when I turned to Paul.
I first became familiar with Paul's work about ten years ago when he represented a local government in our district who sought our participation in a regional economic development project involving five other local governments. Because of this project’s success, I felt confident that Paul would be able to help. That was nearly five years ago (see our complete project timeline) and today, with the guidance of Paul and his team, I am completing our region's award winning process for the development of a $65M amateur sports tournament hosting campus. None of which would have been accomplished without the help of Paul and his team.
