We retained Ms. Jackson to prepare several estate documents. In our initial meeting she explained options for what we wanted to achieve and answered our questions. When we agreed to retain her, we signed a letter of engagement that detailed her scope of work and fees. Her website provides a list of fees for specific services. When we received the drafts of our documents she very promptly and thoroughly answered our questions. Once the documents were executed, she provided us with paper originals and electronic copies.
Making appointments was easy and with two locations we could meet where most convenient for us. She took sufficient time with us and didn’t make us feel rushed. She has good credentials, was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to deal with.
We were very pleased with our experience.

Lauren came highly recommended from friends and family (who also happened to be a lawyer but did not want to use because of too much personally information etc). the initial meeting was informative for both parties in order to understand what we needed as well as to understand from Lauren all the steps needed to complete the process. Jim worked through my difficult divorce which took a few years to complete because my ex moved out of state and was hiding assets, missing appointments, etc. Even with every hurdle my ex and opposing attorney's threw at him, he remained professional and kept me informed all along the way. I came out of the situation ahead, with dignity, the majority of the property, and primary custodial custody of the children.
When the new girl figures my ex out, I can make a recommendation.

Stephen is an AMAZING family attorney. This is his passion and he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I have had a lengthy court battle that resulted in a trial. If you want someone that has a strong moral work ethic, knows the law, someone that cares about your family as much as you do, and prepares you for a win this is your guy. He has been a God send. there is no star option. When Peter Follenweider took my case pro bono I thought I won a lottery as I could not afford a lawyer when my husband filed for divorce. I was misrepresented by Peter and I still wonder what is the connection between him and the judge. My sister in law wrote to me: You have been validated. You got screwed. I don’t know what more I can say. I was left by my husband in Poland with 2 small children with no job no money no housing still the judge did not award me any alimony. All this with the permission and on the watch of Peter. He did not fight for my justice at all. I am in late 50's with no assets. I do not have my own house. I have many medical issues that effect my earning while my ex enjoys 5000+ VA benefits a month tax free with his lover. His disabilities are supposedly PTSD but he is absolutely fit and healthy. n my opinion his disabilities are a hoax. Stay away from Peter Follenweider. He ruin my life. I look with fear in the next year as my salary of 1000 USD a month is just enough to rent studio. I do not have a car.

Right out of the shoot, Scott listened so well that he retained the details and facts for quite a length of time as the case drug out, only due to pandemic.
Scott is knowledgeable enough with the laws that on the fly was able to cite a precedence to allow a brand new piece of evidence on the record.
I was also happy that Scott does not try and take advantage with the charges. Very Very Fair.

We dealt with Jordan in resolving a particularly difficult fraud case. There were a number of parties involved, all pointing fingers at each other. Jordan kept us informed of all of the issues; he kept us confident that eventually results would happen as everything got sorted out while it dragged on. Sandy may handle a lot of cases as other lawyers do, but unlike those other lawyers, she will actually pay attention to and remember the details of your case. She is also really good at math and with financials. If a family lawyer isn’t good at those things, it can dramatically increase the costs of a divorce in a way that can affect you for years.

I was referred to a different attorney by a friend who turned out not to practice divorce or family law and he referred me to Jamie Mosser who does as well as many other practices. This is without a doubt the best phone call I have made. I had gone through two other attorneys and spent tens of thousands of dollars unfortunately battling my ex-wife over many issues one of which is just spending more time with my son. Carbary and Nave both were not looking out for my best interest I don't know which one is actually the worst of the two, I dealt with the latter for most of the time and my ex-wife seem to be beating me at every turn and trying to make it so expensive to continue my relationship with my son that I would quit, that never would have happened. Since I hire Jamie a lot has changed I have increased time with my son and many of the falsities my ex-wife claimed have been seen by the judge to be untrue. I am extremely grateful for everything that she has done for me and would highly highly recommend her to anybody, she goes above and beyond for her clients and truly does care. Something that is very difficult to find!

I hired Mr. Van Der Snick for several traffic tickets a few years ago and he was able to save my license from being suspended, as I had too many tickets on my record. I then hired him last year for a DUI charge that I received in Kane County. I had to wait to get an appointment with him, but it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Mr. Van Der Snick is an AMAZING attorney. He was able to get my DUI charges dismissed, which I never thought to be possible. He not only answered all my questions clearly and precisely, his staff also made sure to notify me of every court date by letter and by phone call. His staff is very professional and friendly! They are always there to answer your questions if the attorney is in court. I would recommend Brick to any family or friend that I have who is in need of an attorney.

This woman committed legal malpractice against me. She had me sign the wrong version of my MSA and then charged me $600 to do my QILDRO and when my ex retired 7 years after the divorce was final we discovered SHE NEVER did the QILDRO so if he had died I would have received NOTHING. Finally when my new lawyers reached out to her countless times she ignored them every time. This woman cost me over $50,000 in missed money. DO NOT USE HER and if you do make sure you go over all your paperwork with a fine toothed comb.

Nearly two months of weekly urgent email communication went unanswered with the exception of one 'I'll call you next week, what time is good?' response during a time-sensitive filing concerning school and healthcare deadlines for my children. After those two months, one of my close friends and his pregnant wife were subpoenaed by the opposing party, I stopped in to the firm in person to request a phone meeting and was dismissed as a client the same day. The firm/attorney seemed completed unaware that my friend had his own representation (clear from the case file) as well as unaware that I had been trying to contact them and cc'ing paralegals /office staff as well.

there is no star option. When Peter Follenweider took my case pro bono I thought I won a lottery as I could not afford a lawyer when my husband filed for divorce. I was misrepresented by Peter and I still wonder what is the connection between him and the judge. My sister in law wrote to me: You have been validated. You got screwed. I don’t know what more I can say. I was left by my husband in Poland with 2 small children with no job no money no housing still the judge did not award me any alimony. All this with the permission and on the watch of Peter. He did not fight for my justice at all. I am in late 50's with no assets. I do not have my own house. I have many medical issues that effect my earning while my ex enjoys 5000+ VA benefits a month tax free with his lover. His disabilities are supposedly PTSD but he is absolutely fit and healthy. n my opinion his disabilities are a hoax. Stay away from Peter Follenweider. He ruin my life. I look with fear in the next year as my salary of 1000 USD a month is just enough to rent studio. I do not have a car.
