I know when it comes to choosing a lawyer it’s a difficult decision to make. Especially trying to find one you feel comfortable with. Melissa Barrette did an amazing job with keeping communication and being flexible. She’s very understanding and never felt rushed whenever we’d speak. Melissa was always so quick to update me on any court changes and if I didn’t something she’d break it down for me. I would definitely recommend Melissa as an attorney because she knows how to get things done and actually cares about her clients.

We are very satisfied with the settlement that Justin & his team at Wallace Law worked to get us during the past year. Our insurance company was vigorously working on denying our hail damage claim - sending out the “experts” & “engineers” while the neighbors were having no trouble having their roofs replaced with their insurance companies. We had our insurance company for 24 years but they decided to give us a fraction of the amount it costs for a new roof (we were paying extra $$ for replacement cost). Probably would have accepted their small number and moved on but when they gave notice of an extreme increase and desire to dump us, that was the last straw. So glad Wallace Law took our case, they were excellent communicators and helped us understand what was happening every step of the way. What on earth do we have insurance for if this is the way it works? Thankfully there are people out there like Justin who know the law and can help in these situations.

Sarvan Singh did a fantastic job on my case was able to reduce my OWI to a reckless driving incident. A much lesser non-alcohol charge. Kirk Obear gave me my life back. I was accused by my ex of heinous acts that I didn’t commit, and the city of Sheboygan charged me with zero evidence that I did anything. Kirk took my case and was a Godsend. We went to jury trial and he completely obliterated the prosecution and won. It was amazing watching him do what he obviously takes great pride in. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to defend me, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you to Kirk and his team for giving me my life back!

End of the year in 2019 and I was facing 2 felony charges for something that never even happened. I was scared that something like this could happen, even though there was no evidence whatsoever. From the get-go Kirk tried to get the charges dropped for various reasons, but the prosecutor apparently had a big ego or something to try and prove. These charges should have been dropped from the beginning and Kirk knew this. Anyways a full year later (mostly due to COVID) I finally make it to jury trial and Kirk "gave it to them" in the court room. Not once did he stumble. He was FULLY prepared to show them what a waste of time and tax payers money that was used to fight this. Needless to say the jury was in agreement and I was found "Not Guilty".

Out of nowhere i was hit with some felonies facing up to 35 years. Never being in trouble before i was terrified of what was going to happen. I met with at a lot of different firms but none made me feel as safe as Kirk's. From the start he explained everything with extreme detail. Stephanie Rock and the entire team at Kirk Obear & Associates are 110% better than advertised. I recently worked with Stephanie for just under a year and there wasn't one time where I didn't feel like I had the best lawyer I could possibly have after speaking with her. She keeps you updated immediately upon learning anything pertaining to the case and she's going to ALWAYS give you her honest opinion while still making sure to consider your input regarding how you'd like to attack case specific details. HANDS DOWN the best lawyer I've ever had. She is incredibly intelligent, knows the law inside and out, and she's extremely well spoken in the court room. Had an incident last year which required an attorney. After several interviews through the Internet and over the phone, I chose an attorney from Kirk Obear and Assoc. I was specifically assigned the attorney Amanda Riek. we immediately had a phone interview and she explained the pricing which was fair to moderate. After that we signed an agreement and went right into the details. She listened and heard everything I had to say, and asked very specific questions which were relevant to my case. after the interview, she reassured me that everything would be handled professionally, and that she would be in touch frequently. she proceeded to file motions and kept in touch with me frequently, keeping me up-to-date with all my statuses. The case ended up taking almost a year, which was not her fault, but she did keep up to speed with all the changes that had occurred, including reassignment of prosecution twice. In the end, I was very happy with the outcome and I would definitely refer anyone to Kirk Obear and Associates. They seem to handle every case with a high level of professionalism and fairness with no judgment and a great deal of sincerity.

Sarvan is a wonderful person and an amazing OWI Attorney. I received a 1st time OWI in Waukesha County. I have some attorney friends on the prosecution side of things. I consulted them to determine what attorney they might consult with if it they were in my situation. Attorney Singh's name was recommended. I was able to have an initial consultation with him one day after the OUI. This was impressive as he called me on a Sunday to discuss the options. I was so appreciative for this call as I was very nervous and scared about what would happen next.
He provided clear feedback and expectations.
I chose to hire Sarvan and am so glad I did. He was extremely knowledgeable and also very personable. I felt like I was in good hands from the start. He answered all my questions and always provided feedback quickly. I never had to appear in court and he was able to reduce the charge to a non-alcohol related charge. He is well worth the money!

A friend recommended Sarvan to me after he hired him and Sarvan was able to get his OWI dropped. My case was very different but he worked with me, was patient and after 2 years and many delays, he was able to get my case lowered to a ticket(kind of). Mr. Mayer is a very good lawyer. He worked with me as co-counsel when I represented a client in a commercial real estate lawsuit in Sheboygan County. Although initially hired as local counsel, to assist in preparation and filing of documents with the court, he assumed a much larger and more important role as the case proceeded. He soon demonstrated his knowledge of real estate law and of foreclosure proceedings, along with a sharp eye for spotting issues, and a shrewd grasp of litigation strategy. His contribution was tremendous at every stage of the proceeding, from writing motions and briefs, to active participation in the trial. Peter is smart man, and a dependable lawyer. I would not hesitate to work with him again if the opportunity were to arise.

Peter read a land contract for me. He accepted me as a client even though I was in another state (my mom used his services in the past). He was always very prompt to return my email. Peter was very thorough and went into great detail on the property that I purchased. He reviewed numerous documents (easements, county parcel descriptions, etc.) that I would not have thought to review. I am happy that Peter read the land contract for me and looked over the property. It was a big relief that the property and contract were free of problems. I would hire Peter again if I needed similar legal services, and I would give him a favorable recommendation.

As first time going through bankruptcy we were not sure what to expect from the process much less who to trust. Greg explained each step and all fees involved before we even hired him. During the process he was always quick answer our calls and kept us informed all along the way. Never made us feel bad just always there to answer our questions. He even sent us all the necessary info needed for what to do after the bankruptcy was finished. From the beginning he was ethical trustworthy and very competent. Bill represented my sister and I following the death of my mother in a no-fault automobile accident of which I was a passenger and her the driver. On a contingency basis, Bill pursued our case against a large insurance company for damages owed in respect to this accident. Our case was rejected through appeals and Bill offered to submit the case to the Wisconsin State Supreme Court for review. The Justices there found merit in the case and agreed to hear arguments. Bill successfully argued our case there after approximately 6 years of litigation.
Clearly Bill is a first-class litigator and brought some closure to what had been, because of a slow legal system, a long, drawn-out and emotionally trying process. He and his staff were continually responsive to questions and concerns that my sister and I shared. He was, upon prompting, willing to simplify more confusing and/or technical aspects of our case and its journey through the state legal system. He also seemed to work on a very professional basis with another excellent lawyer representing me in a related matter. Not only did he provide quality service throughout the entire process, but he also provided appreciated and important advice to us following the resolution of our case even though he had no obligation to do this.

I'm very satisfied with my divorce outcome & settlement, after 14 months, with 5 delays by my ex-spouse. My ex tried to invalidate the prenup & postnup that she and an attorney crafted. Attorney Morgan suggested & found a prenup expert. We negotiated a settlement, where I was able to retain my lake house, boat, cars, etc. for cash & IRA transfers with NO alimony paid. Attorney Morgan also was very astute in a prior small claims case, which we also won.
My bottom line: I would not hesitate to hire Attorney Morgan again -- as he is VERY competent, experienced, professional, classy & relatively affordable -- without the huge retainers & does not overcharge for emails, calls, meetings, etc.

He was a terrible representative never asked questions in regards too are actual case, never ounce asked what id like done, didnt fight for me.He would only notify me day of, about things going on, i repeathe only notifiedme day of as in court dates, ir test. Never ounce sent me any orders until I demanded them. Don't not, I repeat do not let this man/company represent you you will be hung out to dry. He only worries about the paycheck.

I met an attorney Ms Petros. Ms Petros spent an hour with me, wrote things down. She listened. She referred me to her coworker but supervised my case. I got my kids back and after their father hit them so much I had to act in a violent way. Petros and the attorney she had work with me got my sentence reduced so I thank my public defender team. And Ms Petros.

Mr. Darrow is easily one of the worst attorneys I have ever dealt with. Very unresponsive and inattentive to needs. Did not share direction or strategy with me as a client. Even resorted to name calling when I expressed my dislike for his performance. Bills for hours of busy work that has no effect on the case. I would avoid this firm at all costs.

Attorney Darrow is absolutely the best trial lawyer I ever observed in action. I watched him skillfully exam and cross exam witnesses. He knows how to ask questions and present a winning case. At trial he was extremely organized and well prepared. His team behind the scenes put together the facts and details, nothing was left to chance. The one thing I was concerned about was my dad and his lack of understanding of the legal process of divorce, but attorney Darrow was compassionate and helpful to him, I can not be more pleased! I live far away from my father, and when I contacted his team, they were so prompt and honest in answering all of my questions.

Lisa Stengel was the best decision we could have made when choosing a local attorney to help us navigate through a very complicated and emotional family court situation. She was very helpful throughout the entire process, listening, asking us questions, and advocating for us. She listened to our history, issues, and concerns with attentiveness and interest. She helped us to understand what to expect during every stage of the process as it evolved and unfolded. She always answered our questions between meetings with prompt and helpful responses. Whether in her office or the court room, she was always professionally dressed and mannered, punctual, and well prepared. She guided us with compassion and respect and reminded us that no matter how tough the process got (which it did at times challenge our emotional strength and endurance), to never lose sight of why we were there. Lisa is a mother herself and therefore, possesses that ingrained understanding of parental relationships and family dynamics, but she also brings forth a wisdom that I assume can only come from many years of dedicated work experience. Lawyers are regular people too, and therefore, there exists all kinds. There are certainly stereotypical "sharky", "dirty" lawyers that exist in the field, but it is not true that you need on of those to win your case. Sometimes you just need a wise, educated, assertive, and articulate person to advocate for you and help you fight for family justice. As the title suggests my kids are home. When I first met Lisa I had made a terrible mistake and had signed a temporary custody agreement and let my ex take our kids out of the house and county already. This put me in a very bad position once I realized that things were not going to go as well as I had hoped. Lisa was recommended by our family attorney and others to whom I had enquired. Lisa helped my family and I through a two year long heavily contested divorce and custody battle. During the last two years I had been investigated numerous times by Social Services and had false allegations made agenced me to the police not only by my ex but also my kids. Parental alienation was a huge Factor in my case and was very hard to prove to the guardian ad litem however by the end everything was made clear to the guardian ad litem and the judge. Fighting a custody battle as a father is already a uphill battle and I truly believe I would not have my kids home today if it were not for her. During the three days in court I got to see the differences between a skilled and knowledgeable attorney and one that was not so much. Lisa was very organized and cross-examinations were very well thought out. She will continue to be my go-to person for any issues regarding family law.
