I am incredibly grateful to have had Marc represent me in a highly contentious custody case that resulted in a life-changing outcome. What began as a custody case quickly evolved into a complex, multi-day trial with my ex-wife filing for permanent removal from Massachusetts and multiple states being involved.

It was supposed to be an amicable divorce initiated by my ex-wife. It became clear that she wanted to set the financial terms based on what she thought was right. David was always calm and took some of the emotional elements out of the mix and focused me on the real terms. He was nonetheless a good listener and showed empathy while guiding me through the legal process.
He shared with me some of facts he would have presented to a judge had the amicable process gone awry. But all in all David worked hard at moving a difficult process through to its conclusion with minimal acrimony.
If you are looking to grind an axe I don't think he is the guy for you!
Otherwise I would highly recommend him to anyone going through the inherently difficult and emotional challenging process of ending a union while minimizing the collateral damages. He will make the tough journey that much easier. He is really a good guy and a good attorney!

As you can imagine, the legal matter comes with a huge frustration, a lot of stress and lots of unpleasant time. Sometimes, well most of the time, when we end up in this situation, we can be extremely rude and inpatient. Well, when it comes to hire someone to deal with your problems a lot of times lawyers just saying "ohh, well, don't be a silly jerk just sign it" however this approach is NOT acceptable, it is all about your life in a long time. If you spend long enough in the workforce, sooner or later you will find yourself on the receiving end of an unfortunate situation on the job. Whether by malice, pure stupidity, or the broad swath of that particualr Venn diagram that overlaps proudly, someone will prove to you that no good deed goes unpunished for long. Fortunately, when you hire Judi Miller, no evil deed you've suffered will go unpunished either.
I can't say too much about my own particular situation thanks to the terms of the settlement Judi got for me, and of course the language in the agreement made it clear that neither party was to assume that they prevailed; suffice it to say, from the perspective of the other party involved, it's hard to write a check with that many zeroes on it and feel like you are winning, unless perhaps you are at an art auction. Which they were not.

Attorney Laura Unflat is truly a compassionate professional! I was referred to her buy another attorney, if that doesn't say something nothing does. I have to say I could not be happier the way Laura handled my case. My case was not simple divorce lot of moving parts but she was very compassionate, and treats you like an equal not a client, which is not easy to find with attorneys. Divorce is not easy, but she reassures you when needed and had total compassion when it got tough. She is very professional, but tough when needed, she will not be pushed around.. I hired Laura to help with what was supposed to be a simple prenup; and through wacky twists and turns with a very difficult opposing attorney Laura was a steadfast advocate for me until it was completed. She very specifically figured out what was important to me, and was excellent at providing hypothetical situations to explain the implications of each provision. Her advice was thorough and backed up by examples from her experience.
As the agreement moved towards completion, and things got more contentious, I felt very comfortable when she would advocate directly with the other attorney because I knew she understood my interests and desires. She was very communicative with me and I felt well informed of each step. She was also very sensitive to and open about discussing billing when I had questions.

I highly recommend Maria Vijil Davis. She handled the legal work for both the sale of our existing home and the purchase of our new home. I highly recommend attorney Furman. He handled my daughter's case carefully and confidently. He spent nearly two hours with us in person after an initial phone consultation. He treated my 14 year old with respect and established a report with her that was truly remarkable. He helped her (and me) understand the process and what to expect. He answered all of our questions; at no point did I ever feel like he was in a rush to get to his next case. He kept us informed every step of the way.
Attorney Furman was passionate about my daughter's case, and did an excellent job advocating for her. The result was a favorable ruling in the case. As a controller for a mid-sized company, we had sent some delinquent business accounts first to a collection agency and then to a lawyer. No luck. We then sent the accounts to Attorney Levine and received full payment on all three accounts within 3 weeks. She was amazing. Now we go directly to her and rarely a problem. Per her advice, we bring the smaller stuff to small claims court ourselves and avoid unecessary collection/legal fees. We highly recommend her.
