I was in a jam, Mr. Behr took my case and worked a miracle! I went from being dismissed and looking at getting nothing for me and my son's injuries to receiving money for a new car and compensation for our injuries. Mr. Behr did what no other attorney would and he succeeded even against a top defense attorney in Dallas. Mr. Behr was amazing and his paralegal is absolutely the greatest! Jennifer answered all of my questions, kept me informed and kept everything moving. She met me after hours to notarize documents and the all went above and beyond to handle my case. The entire staff is great! Thank you!!!!

Tracy Franklin is the defense attorney at Behr Law Firm. She took my case, helped me out of a bad situation and now I am in college and doing great. My future would have been bleak if Tracy and Behr Law Firm had not helped me after the mistake I made. Thank you Tracy.

I did not think I had a claim to pursue but Mr. Behr was able to get me a settlement for my injuries after my claim had been denied and no one thought I would ever collect anything.

Micah was attentive and very informative from the beginning. He always kept us updated on the process and where our case stood. He explained legal jargon to us and gave us great advice. He dealt with everything from obtaining hospital records to talking with the multiple insurances involved. We put full trust in him and he took care of my family after our accident in Colorado. We will recommend him to anyone that we know to be looking for representation.

There is not much more that can be said about Roland Brown except he is a man who cares about his clients' problems, both big and small. My claim was for "Medical Malpractice" and when I first met with him he explained that in our state the jury will almost always be on the doctors' side. As he got further into what my case involved he wasn't going to pursue it because he was unable to find any similar cases that had been won anywhere in our state. This is where he went above and beyond. He continued to research my particular case, without me knowing it, looking for cases that had been won in other states and found an Attorney in PA that specialized in and had a winning history with my type of case. Even as small as my case ended up being, both attorneys began to work together to pursue a viable defense for me and they won a settlement for me. If you want someone who will work tirelessly on your behalf and will go that step beyond to help you win - you want Roland Brown.

My wife and i were in an accident with a teenager with minimal insurance. We are in our mid eighties. Roland has taken all the anxiety out of the experience. We were facing about $360,000 expenses. The young mans $30,000 insurance was frightening. Roland found. I had unlnsurance and underinsurance. He has negotiated settlements and it appears we will not be out any funds, all the while comforting two elderly clients. We are eternally greatful.

When we were contacted by a Law Search Team, tracking unpaid taxes, by someone to whom we had lent money, we were wisely advised by local municipal attorney Don Campbell to not hire him and go to court over the issue. Mr. Campbell told us clearly in a free consult session, that we should essentially not respond with the "phishing law suit" by the young Abilene Lawyer to "bait" us into action. Our local Justice of the Peace Office also advised us many in western Hays County were being "scammed" by this questionable legal practice. " Don Campbell's help was worth 1,000s of dollars saved.

In 2012, Brent Pulley got justice for me after tenant did $4,800 damage to my rent house. I had proof, photos and receipts/checks for repairs done. However, the ex-tenant retained lawyer and counter-claimed he “improved my property & I owed him $6,200”. This was 100% false, and Brent knew how to handle this messy situation. Brent is professional, knowledgeable, organized, and worked steadily getting my case to trial. He expertly presented my proof & questioned the witnesses in court like the “TV Matlock lawyer show”. Plus, Brent has a low key, friendly manner, and I saw how well the Judge and Deputy responded to him. He won court award for my repairs & his legal fees, then filed with Deputy who collected my $8,762 payment from ex-tenant . I cannot imagine another lawyer doing as well.

Mark is an Excellent lawyer. Comings from a judicially employed family, I was extremely impressed with not only his professionalism but his straight forward, no B.S.attitude. He made sure we knew Exactly what to expect (even though it didn't sound pretty) and what our Realistic expectations should be. He has even recommended other lawyers that might be better for certain cases. Everytime we haven taken Mark's advise and or recommendations, we have not been disappointed. He has and will always be the first lawyer I call if I need legal advise or need to win a case.

Lynne stood beside me and spent many hours over two years representing me in a situation where I was wrongly accused. She believed in me and sought out others who were falsely accused by the plaintiff. She was sharp and always there when I needed to communicate with her. I would strongly suggest her representation.

I hired Lynne Morris to defend me in regards to false accusations of stalking and threatening the Plaintiff. I provided documented evidence clearly proving the Plaintiff 's committed perjury on his affidavit and in court. Morris withheld this evidence, would not show this in court after I asked her 3 times to do so. Morris didn't professionally represent me in court, she belittle and degraded me before the court hearing, during the hearing and after. Morris conduct was unprofessional.

Lynne Berry Morris defended me in a DUI arrest and trial. It appeared that the prosecution had an air-tight case against me, but that was wrong. Lynne fought like a bulldog against the prosecution, their witnesses and evidence they brought. She also recommended expert witnesses for my defense which I hired. The result was a hung jury in my favor. I can't thank her enough!

Had an admistrative issue with Texas Dept of Savings and Mortgage Lending. This is a large bureau to work with. Hired Mr. Hall to represent us. First of all, he is very accessible and returns calls immediately. Secondly, he has considerable experience in working with several Gov't agencies in Texas. He was able to effect a positive resolution with the TDSML.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

  • Fee Structures:
    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.
    • Flat Fee:
For routine legal services like drafting a will or handling an uncontested divorce, lawyers might offer a flat fee.
    • Retainer Fee:
An upfront payment against which the lawyer bills hourly fees.
    • Contingency Fee:
Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
