My trust was updated successfully the end of 2024. Thomas Tuohy was the lawyer who helped me with this—and his associates, of course. Thomas was a pleasure to work with—he was relaxed and didn’t pressure me. He brought up items that I may not have thought of and provided answers to all of my questions. The binder with all of my documents was presented and will be very helpful in the future. I would definitely recommend this firm.

Me and my husband hired Uri a while back but any time I can I recommend his law group because I know they are the best. He was very attentive and well prepared. I had a case involving termination of parental rights and he offered me the best services. He explained everything and understood my concerns and worries. And even though this all took place during Covid time he got everything done in a timely manner! The whole team was very caring and also kept me well informed throughout the whole process. I was catapulted into divorce, and blindsided by my (then) husband. From the moment I walked into Matt’s office, I was welcomed with kindness, empathy, strength, lots of tissues and I left with a plan. Matt and Jen took their time to hear “my story” and really listened to my hopes for my marriage as well as my worries about divorce.
Matt and Jen were there EVERY STEP of the way from start to finish, 2.5 years of false accusations, malicious and fabricated statements that attacked my role as a mum, my integrity and could have significantly impacted my career. I genuinely thought I was going crazy.
Matt and Jen never wavered in their continued support and belief in me and the truth despite the oppositional fabrications. They never once believed I was what was being said.
They plowed through many ( and I mean many) emotional and some times erratic emails filled with 100’s of pictures, videos and screenshots of messages/emails, in response to receiving statements that were personal attacks and untrue.
Matt and Jen took this all within their stride, they never once made me feel I was too much or a burden. They were my backbone at the most crushing time of my life. I felt that this wasn’t just a “job” for them they genuinely cared about what was best for me and my children.
My case was complex for many reasons but was further complicated by an international move, yet Matt and Jen continued to support me from afar continuing to validate my story and their belief in me never changed regardless of my geographical location.
This was evident in our recent trial, my then husband continued their fabrications on the stand, yet this did not phase Matt in the slightest, he was more than prepared and presented evidence after evidence to disprove my then husband right there on the stand. It was extremely hard and sad to witness, yet my story and my truth was finally being told and It finally hit me, I was not crazy!!

We met Heather and her staff in 2019 when adopting our first child from the foster care system. Now we are back for a 2nd adoption in 2022 with a biological sibling to our adopted kiddo. After my car accident I was knee deep in medical bills and insurance claim paperwork. Runion personal injury lawyer has some of the best lawyers for car accidents. I can tell all the good reviews were obviously requested by Mr. Martinez himself. Hired him for criminal case . He assured me that it wouldn’t be any issue to get friend out. Said he would do it. Didn’t . Wouldn’t return calls text. Or even show up as planned. Didn’t fight at all . Scared and knowledgeable at court . Couldn’t even get a negotiated plea offered. Couldn’t get one thing changed on the plea. The video evidence was lost all body cam footage gone and still lost case. Felt mislead and severely manipulated.. shoulda burned the money instead. I simply do not recommend Jose as a lawyer to hire because he has done a very poor job with our case. He does not communicate well at all and does not have much experience with a civil lawsuit. He has missed deadlines and has forgot facts about the case. He has missed the deadline to respond to a motion and therefore lost the motion in the other parties favor which we did not agree to but it got our case throw out while the counterclaim is still active and ongoing. We have no leverage now. This was done to spite us as we have a flat fee arrangement. It feels like he is doing as little as possible because of the flat fee arrangement.

I was having problems gaining employment after my felony convictions. I waited a number of years and then I asked Robert to help me get my conviction set aside. He did just that. I would highly recommend Carol to anyone dealing with DCS. After spinning my wheels for almost a year with DCS doing any and everything requested I felt like I was getting no where and terrified of losing my boys. After retaining Carol she spent a few days with me initially, really learning about my case Inside and out. She truly cared and has a passion for what she does. She told me not to worry that my boys would come home to just stick with her. She knew exactly how to handle DCS and in such short time came to an agreement to work on a plan for boys to return home. She is a firecracker and will let your voice be heard. I had been pushed around for a year by DCS jumping thru every hoop 20x and finally felt like I was being treated fairly once Carol came in the picture. My only regret is not retaining her sooner because then things would have gotten worked out a whole lot sooner. Thanks again Carol, me and my boys will forever be thankful!!

I honestly have no words for what it was like to work with Lisa. During our adoption experience we hit many bumps and road blocks along the way. I think we experienced everything one could go through while doing an adoption. Lisa was there with us through everything. She would call and check in, even if she had no news to report, and she always kept us informed of the latest news. She would call until we answered and if we didn't answer she would email. I can't tell you enough about Lisa. She's wonderful. She's competent. She's compassionate, more than reasonably priced, and does her clients good. Lisa handled an adoption case for me which required obtaining consent from the biological parents. One was willing, the other was not. Lisa's patience in working with the not-so-willing parent was at tremendous help over the months it took to get the consent. In the end, however, the adoption case went without a hitch, finalizing about 14 months after starting the whole process.
