My husband & I used Lori to take care of our adoption (which was an open adoption for our great niece). We we anxious to get the adoption done and Lori was compassionate to listen to our story, knowledgeable in rights of the family members, and was efficient in getting the adoption completed within two months! We contacted Lori Jenkins for my husband to adopt my four children, all teenagers. She was very knowledgeable about any and all questions we had. She handled our case with care and efficiency. She is always patient, caring, and professional. The adoption went very smoothly and faster than we expected as the bio-father lives in another state. It helped that my ex willingly signed consent to the adoption but we feel it was Lori that made the process so smooth and easy for us. My husband and I hired Lori initially to help us terminate my Ex’s legal rights to my son and allow my husband to adopt my son. It ended up being a long, brutal, custody battle with my ex who had resurfaced after being absent for years from my son’s life. Lori fought hard for us, prepared us every step of the way, took time to listen to us but also told us ways we could cut costs by handling certain things ourselves. She told us our options along the way and explained why she recommended one option over the other. She helped us see things realistically and at times helped to reel in emotions and keep things focused on our son vs my ex. With her help we were able to come to a sustainable agreement that kept our son safe. My ex was granted supervised visits that would graduate to unsupervised, then overnights, then short summer visits then eventually 3week summer visits. Lori told us this was the best solution to give him time to prove himself or enough rope to hang himself. It’s been over 5yrs since that arrangement was made and he has still never had an unsupervised visit and only maintained contact for about a year. Lori still touches base with us to see how we are doing. Our son turns 18 next year and Lori will be handling the adult adoption case for us so my husband can finally legally be named his dad. We can’t thank Lori enough for all of her hard work and dedication. If you’re looking for an attorney you can trust with your children’s lives, look no further.

I have nothing but great things to say about Sandra. Because of her experience, knowledge, and desire to fight for what is right, but above all to fight for what is best for my child. I now can spend quality time with my son without having to worry about his mom not letting me see him just because I am one minute late to pick up time. Before she came to my rescue, I would see my son once maybe twice a week for a very short period of time. Now, he has “sleepovers” with me, I can take him to and from school, as well as, his medical appointments and those are some of the best moments a parent can have. Lisa Kenn exceeded all our expectations. As parents, we both have legal experience and did some research to help our daughter find the best divorce lawyer in a very difficult, messy divorce. Mike has represented me and various family members of mine for a number of things over the last decade, starting with my divorce from my first husband in 2008. He has always given my family and I his honest opinion and assessment of our case, even when we don't like the answer we receive. It is easy to take things personally in the middle of your own legal matter, and he offers an outside perspective that often brings us back to center and helps us to evaluate the situation without all of the emotion. His honesty is also something that keeps our legal bill down as he won't pursue matters that, in the grand scheme of things, are frivolous, just to run up a bill. I am thankful to have had his legal and personal advice over the years and will continue to turn to him, as well as refer friend and family to him, for so long as he practices law.

Kathleen has made my nightmare of an experience much easier. My soon to be ex who adopted my daughter as a step parent changed his mind about being responsible for her once our marraige dissolved. Nobody knew how to handle this. I called so many lawyers. Kathleen was the first lawyer that did. Not only that, but her prices are reasonable and she has held my hand and made me feel supported through all of it. She also showed personal concern for all of us, proving that she actually cared about what was best for our family. She has always been great about quick responses, and has never shown any irritation towards my stupid questions or multiple phone calls. I would recommend and use her again if ever needed!!

I hired Kathleen to handle my personal injury case because I trust her. I first interviewed a 'baracuda' lawyer. He said my 'soft tissue' injury case was worth maybe $10,000. Kathleen supported my getting an MRI which showed damage. In her non-confrontational way, Kathleen established a rapport with the insurance adjuster, and settled my case (without going to trial) for $22,000. I work as a legal assistant and know many attorneys. I chose to work with Kathleen and I do not regret that decision.

Once i got to know her i found out that she was very jood at her job and was always showing me howo much she cared about my happyness. One of the two best intellectual property attorneys I've been associated with in my 50 years of business experience. Michelle pleaded our case concerning a trademark that was deemed by the trademark officer to be too similar in definition as to be an infringement. She convinced the reviewing officer that we would not be infringing and consequently we received our registered mark for the product.
In another instance she negotiated a co-existance agreement that could have cost us the trademark of our flagship product and, even convinced the other party to pay most of our legal expense.

Do not use this law firm. I was promised by Mrs Bianca Pacheco-Mayberry that her and this law firm would accomplish 90% of what I am asking them to accomplish with my $4000 retainer fee. After paying the retainer fee she stopped all correspondence with me. I found out she left to another law firm by being appointed to Mr Brian Morgan. He starts off by designing 4 parenting plans that do not work for me due to my work schedule, I called him out on it, he said that is not how it works & you will not receive any such credit. Then I find out he is contacting my ex asking her advise on what she would agree to. I asked him who is he working for? He literally squandered almost $6000 from me, a broke single divorced father of 4 children. He then demands an additional $5000 to continue my case with no guarantee I would actually end up with more time with my children. Which I believe was his easy way out of my case so he could leave this firm as well to go to his new job at another firm. I was told by Mandi Philpott in the fee agreement I signed states "Attorney does not assure a particular result or outcome of any disputed matter" Attorney fees are earned regardless of outcome of this matter. Which I believe gives them the right to squander any and all money from any client, which is exactly what they did to me. I believe that if lawyers were paid on performance, they would all be broke! Specially this law firm! I went with this law firm because of their "Success Stories." After my experience I can not believe any of them are truthful!

We had encountered a unique situation regarding our adopted daughter and a previous foster parent. Ms. Peggy Bond was not only knowledgeable in adoption law, but was a great advocate for ensuring every decision we made was for the best interest of our daughter. Issues with adoption are emotional. Parents may not be thinking clearly, nor know long term consequences of adoption decisions. Ms. Bond was honest, has outstanding support connections / referrals within the community, and genuinely cared about the future of our family unit. This case was 10 years ago. Now as we reflect on the decisions and court actions we made with Ms. Bond, they had been for the best for our daughter. We highly recommend her for all adoption situations requiring legal assistance.

I hired Lisa to represent me in my divorce. The circumstances in my case were probably the hardest that a lawyer can deal with. Specifically, my ex wife was abusive and extremely mentally ill. Without Lisa, I do not believe my children would be in a safe place right now. She was honest and forthcoming about my advantages, weak points, and things to consider. She was not afraid to tell me when I was wrong, which should be appreciated in cases like this. The divorce was long and drawn out, 15 months. During that time, Lisa was patient with my stress, and always answered questions in a timely manner. If you want a lawyer with integrity and honesty, but also knows how to win, you would do well to hire Lisa. There is not enough gratitude in the world for me to express just what she has done for my children and me.

Our life has been stifled because someone we used to consider as a friend has turned into a lunatic due to mental illness. We had no choice but to seek an SPO against him from the court. We were lucky to find attorney Amanda Hash to represent us in court on a very tight timeline. Although we have prepared enough evidence, it was still not an easy case. The judge was very reluctant to make a decision and asked us to come back in 2 hours. At that time, we all thought it was difficult for us to win. Amanda did not get discouraged, but used the 2 hours to search for similar cases to mine and used them to successfully convince the judge. The win was a huge relief for our family and we're grateful to have worked with this law firm!

I retained Mr. Ivers to represent me in my divorce. The whole process took almost a year. Mr. Ivers was mediocre at best. I dealt with his assistant Jodie most of the time (who was awesome). When we went to trial, Mr. Ivers left out many key pieces. I was very dissatisfied with his performance in court and should’ve fired him months ago.

this lawyer guided me with good advice with a parental interference case, and got me to be able to see my son again after not seeing son for 4 mo from ex wife issues, of which i will forever be grateful to the lawyer. he was helpful but was constantly busy, and indicated he didn't have a lot of time. i honestly feel he was trying to make time, but in the end i was called by his secretary and told that in the time frame i needed help, i would be better off finding another lawyer service, they did provide me a list and a contact number to find lawyers. this was when i was getting ready for a hearing that was coming up in 1 week. but for the time that i was getting advice from this lawyer it was better than i could have done on my own. the one piece of feedback i would like to give to him is if they new they would not be able to help me further then dont take money from me to put into trust fund. of course it is possible that they didn't realize the time involved, or that i would require more than an hour consulting a month until a few days after i made the deposit. it seems like i will get most of it back, but it might be some time. we will see, it seems more like a staffing competence rather than lawyers.... i'm used to professional lawyers from the past but from a larger organized firm. this lawyer is more affordable and i would use him again if i would have assurances for how much help they can and can not do, what they are willing to accept as a consultant, and how often i can contact them, and when i would get a response. even though i think this lawyer has good advice, and is affordable it is really just one or two people that run the show, and they need to learn to organize better, or get better help to organize and i hope they take this feedback and i wish them success. i feel this lawyer would do better working at a larger firm than deal with all the hustle and logistics of a business.

When I was served with a divorce I thought I would handle it by myself even though my soon to be ex had a lawyer. I learned very quickly that was a bad idea. There are way too many laws, rules, procedures, etc that have to be followed. Doing it myself went downhill pretty quickly so I wanted to get a lawyer. I asked some people for help finding a lawyer, and several of them gave me Andy's name.
He is great at explaining things so that you understand them even when there are a whole lot of moving parts. I was amazed at how well he understands people and can predict what will happen or people will do. After he got involved we eventually came to a settlement that basically gave me what I asked for to start with.
