Nathan helped me tremendously. I hired another lawyer at first for my case, but she made things complicated and charged me unreasonable fees. Luckily Nathan put me at ease. We were referred to Dave by a social worker based on some of her clients superb reviews. We could not have been more pleased with his services. Dave was very thorough, thoughtful and a great communicator. We used him for re-adoption services for our international adoption. After experiencing some complications with finalizing our adoption in California, we were referred to David Andersen to help transfer our case to the State of Washington due to the year-long finalization process in CA. He was very helpful and knowledgeable on how to transfer the case and worked with our attorney and the birth-parents in CA in a very professional and caring manner. His communication about the process throughout was exceptional. Approximately a month and half from the case being transferred to WA, we finalized the adoption of our beautiful baby girl right before the Christmas holiday. We hired Alli Keller after going to a famous downtown firm that advertised themselves as the best. They were the best in billing us timely for barely any results. They nickeled and dimed us, and did not even call us to explain to us what our adoption process would be like. When we raised the issue that we needed more information, they showed us the door, and thank god we found Alli Keller's firm. Her entire office was very caring, and she cared very much about our family situation and our child. I am happy to tell of my professional relationship with Alexandra Keller.
Since moving to the Seattle area from California, I wanted to assure that my estate documents were up to date and legally binding in the state of Washington.
I found a number of lawyers who could help me. When I asked for a price estimate, I found that some required money upfront or a retainer fee. Others stated that their fee would be as much as $350 an hour but would not give a time estimate. I could not promise an unspecified amount without a price range estimate. When I contacted Alexandra, telling her exactly what I wanted, she told me that iwould be $400 - $800.
She rewrote my Revocable Living Trust, my Will, a Durable Power of Attorney for Finance, a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care, and a Health Care Directive. Due to a family death, I needed my trust agreement to reflect a change. I have been extremely pleased with the five newly written documents. Alexandra did charge the $800, but justifiably so. She made several helpful suggestions for my consideration while writing these documents. and it all takes time and effort.
When we met for the final signing and notarization, she went over everything allowing me to ask questions. She followed up by sending me an itemized statement of her charges and wrote off all of the extra time to stay within her stated estimate. She also sent forms upon which to list personal tangible property, naming a recipient for those items that do not need to be included in any other document.
You will find Alexandra to be very kind and patient, very intelligent, and focused upon service that meets your needs.
If in the future I have any legal needs, I will seek counsel with Alexandra. If a concern is outside her area of expertise, I know she will make a wise referral. In addition, I want to add that her office is easy to get to, on 35 th Avenue, close to the University with ample free parking.

I hired Caleb as my back up for amicable mediation. When this plan failed, Caleb stepped in as my full time lawyer. In the 2 year 9 month long divorce process, I was unbelievable impressed with Caleb (and Susan, his para-legal!).
There was no detail overlooked.

Alexandra was wonderful to work with. I was in a motorcycle accident last year and was getting pushed around by the at fault insurance co. Alexandra explained everything to me helping me understand all of the logistics along the way. After going through quite a lengthy ordeal with a car accident, I finally decided to hire Alexandra. Not having worked with any attorneys before, I had no idea what to expect. Alexandra educated me by breaking down an intimidating process and judicial system into something comprehensible and digestible for me, walking me through every step of the process. I knew she was an advocate and had my back when she provided confidence, courage, and energy, when I thought I had none left to give. Alexandra helped me get through a long process, one that I never thought would end. I would definitely hire her (though I hope I don't need too!) if I was in another car accident.
The only thing to note is that she is a start up and has a small team. This means she's personable, relational but sometimes is really difficult to get in touch with and coordinate schedules. It was a periodic challenge but nothing concerning as I had the utmost confidence that she was taking care of everything that needed to be sorted out.

Unknowledgeable, Way Too Expensive, Dropped the Ball and Miserably Failed Us
Paid $3,500 for absolutely nothing accomplished! Lacked basic knowledge and failed to get it yet charged a fee for nothing but excuses. Charge for reading and sending every email, even though the staff were not well trained to explain important information. Cancelled twice at last minute and was always providing unencouraging depressing hopelessness. Finally dropped me for complaining. THIS IS THE TYPE OF ATTORNEY WE WERE ALL WARNED ABOUT! Complete waste of time and money.

Imagine after many years of marriage your partner has you served for divorce at your office. She wants an ungodly amount of maintenance/money for 20 plus years and wants to keep you from your son (who is a Division 1 Top Recruit) unless you agree to pay more money. My ex-wife's attorney was vile, ruthless and not a good person in my opinion.
This was what I was facing and I was a total broken man. I was in denial and needed the assistance of a professional attorney to keep me from hurting myself. I was not thinking in my right mind and just wanted it to go away.
I met Lisa Gilmore at the lowest point of my life. She listened, was compassionate, funny and incredibly professional. Lisa coached and guided me through every phase of the divorce. Her courtroom demeanor was unbeatable. The judge had total respect for her and I felt this helped my case immensely.
My main focus was my son. How could a person who spent 80% of his son's time/life be asked to leave his home? Lisa again helped me process that this was not the end of the world... In fact, I believe I became a more loving father in the end.

I retained Lisa to represent me in my divorce proceedings and I couldn't be more thrilled with her work, nor more grateful for the outcome. I hired Raegen to write a not very complicated agreement. Almost 3 months later I got a partly filled out agreement that seemed to be a form or template. And a bill for over $4000. I complained and she agreed to finish it for not much more. But I feel that the service I received was extremely expensive for the product.

I brought a very serious systemic issue like most people who come to an Attorney for consultation. I spent an hour talking about the issue only to have my money taken at the end and was told it's a problem and nothing she can do even though its in her field of expertise. She had no problem taking my money $250. This is a common practice that I have notice with attorneys throughout the US and we as the people who pay money need to inform others who might fall as a victim to attorneys who conduct themselves in this manner. It should be a crime to take people money knowing that no service was rendered. I understand we all need to eat, but do not waste people time who are being robbed the the system. I am not disgruntle but concerned that this seems more like a scam and it is putting people lives in jeopardy especially when they have little strength to tell there story over and over again. I would rate one star, but she was very courteous when taking my money.

She kept me informed and responded almost immediately to my phone calls and e-mails. We did not meet unnecessarily and in the meetings we had, Alene was well-prepared and focused. I was new to this type situation and asked many questions. I found her answers complete, helpful and, in the end, accurate. When the other party did not follow through as agreed (several times and once after we thought the case was settled), Alene communicated with them quickly and effectively.
