He just won on a Summary Judgement Appeal on my Erroneous DNA Paternity Lawsuit against two labs. He was able to convince three appellate Judges to overturn the Summary Judgement.
This case is a very unusual case. His win in the Appellate Court was an extremely difficult endeavor. He had to win on all the issues that had to be won.
He won on all of them. There are already articles online about his recent win on this case.
When I walked into his office to discuss appealing case. I felt so defeated and damaged at what happened in lower court with Summary Judgement being granted. I knew I had to fight the lower court finding. I hired Niles to represent me in the Appeal.
He is extremely cautious. He certainly made me no promises. But, he said he was willing to try.
Last week he won the Appeal! Huge Victory!
I cannot say enough good things about this Attorney! If you want a top tier Appellate Attorney Niles Illich is that guy.
Just to be clear Niles had nothing to do with what happened in the lower Court decision. I went to see him after I had lost in the lower Court.
Niles does Criminal and Civil Appeals. He is fluent in very complex cases.

This law firm I still believe is a good firm to represent your case. Although, I tried to retain them most recently. My review is regarding the intake staff personnel Sarah. Sarah’s professionalism, communication, and ability to listen and assist a client is subpar. First call, I specifically asked for a particular attorney, she then suggested another attorney. Due to them moving into the Dallas office the next day, she advised to give her until the following week for someone to contact me. I was patient and in that waiting time, decided I would go with her suggestion as the Dallas attorney was more affordable, closer, and honestly had stronger credentials. Never got the follow-up call. I called and she only kept trying to redirect me. There were some back and forth and I ended up requesting for one of the Managing Partners to respond to a specific request. Guess what, she follows up without ever asking but comes back with a generic response. Keep in mind, this is after waiting another week for the MP to return. I had to wait for her to go back to ask the original request. Long story short, her mannerism doesn't display trustworthiness, but a person who appears to want to do her own thing. I still don’t believe she communicated properly to the MP. It appears that she may not have the client nor the firms' best interest in mind. In my opinion she doesn’t need to be at the forefront when she has created weeks of delay and roadblocks, and she was made aware that I was referred by a reputable friend of this firm.

My very close friend made the mistake of a third DWI. He faced felony charges and deportation back to his birth country (he was born in Vietnam, but raised here since he was a toddler). Due to the immense stress of this pending trial, he even suffered physically/medically.
Jack was very compassionate and even took the time to meet my friend/client, his brother, and even me in his office.
He answered all of my texts and calls very quickly throughout the entire process. He even answered a frantic weekend call from me (when he was probably with his family).

Without getting into actual details, I will give you my experience with him. 10 years ago after spending money on the "Big Name" Attorney's in Tampa (who did nothing and had no plan) I ran into Mr. Baer, the new guy out of Texas. He made no promises but did some things at the time I thought were CRAZY! I was thinking "that sounds good, but just like the other Attorneys told me, no way they are going to go for that" I had that planted in my head, but Mr. Baer told me all they can do is turn us down. Still not convinced however, I let him do it his way. Now that I look back on it you can't do "normal things" and expect "crazy results" You have to be a little bit crazy if you want to crush it. That is exactly what he did CRUSHED IT! Everything he asked for we got! Stephen Baer is legit! If you have a Federal Case and you don't at least have him look at it. Going through any type of legal action regardless of what side your on can be very stressful and taxing on even the most stable person. Mr. Lynch represented me in my D-I-V-O-R-C-E in 2007. My divorce was one of many colors with a lot of different mentalities to back those colors up. To say the least we had a battle on our hands that even General Lee would not have wanted to fight. I found the right man for the job in Mr. Jeff Lynch. I could not have asked for a better lawyer to represent me. Mr. Lynch's professionalism,experience,reputation, and most importantly, intergrity led to a great victory in my favor. My case was settled in mediation. The mediator at one point tried his best to take Mr. Lynch to the woodshed by insulting him in a not so flattering way in front of me, Mr. Lynch's client. Mr. Lynch very calmly and politely ask me to leave the room so that he and the mediator could discuss the matter in private. I did and when we reconvened the mediator tried very hard the rest of the day to become Mr. Lynch's best friend. Mr. Lynch's calm cool collective demeanor in my opinion is what makes Mr. Lynch a great litigator. In other words, you don't see him coming until it's to late. He is very good at what he does. He always kept me informed and up to date on all changes that were taking place during my divorce.
