It was one of the worst moments in my life. I was driving home and I crashed my car into a parked car. I was scared, lost, confused but most of all worried.
I was refered by a friend to a lawyer named Michael Linscheid, who turned out to be a saving grace.
He helped me go through the court system and provided me the reassurance that everything will be ok.
He is the utmost professional and his knowledge of the court system is extremely extensive.
After the court case had already happened, Michael followed up with me to ensure everything was on track to get my license back.
I would not be where I am today if it weren't for Michael.

I had an amazing experience working with Jonah.
I had a small, but complex legal issue that resulted in a warrant being issued for time I had already served, and left the state for. Jonah was very communicative from the start, and was able to get me added to SF calendar quickly, so I flew in/out for court in the same day. Words cannot express how truly grateful I am because of Mr. Scott Kalkin. Unfortunately I had multiple upper extremity surgeries in 2012 which left me disabled and unable to work. I had to utilize my long term disability policy from my employer that I paid for since 2000. I did not understand at the time that I purchased an Erisa plan which is a very complex and difficult to understand policy. My doctors were wonderful at documenting my condition and filling out mounds of paperwork that advised my long term carrier that I was clearly disabled and unable to work. Unfortunately this did not matter to my long term carrier. I was advised by my carrier in 2013 that I was no longer eligible for my much needed medical benefits due to the Erisa laws and I would be receiving a letter with an explanation on how to appeal in the mail soon. Needless to say, I felt defeated and exhausted. I did extensive research on long term disability attorneys and decided to call Mr. Scott Kalkin at Roboostoff and Kalkin. Not only was Mr. Scott Kalkin kind and understanding but he took the time to explain the complexities of having a long term policy governed by Erisa. Mr. Scott Kalkin is extremely knowledgeable and is an expert on all of the complexities of long term disability policies. I’m happy to say that after hiring Mr. Scott Kalkin in 2013, he contacted my long term and to this day, which is now 2019, I am still receiving the much needed benefits that I deserve. He removed the burden and frustrations of having to personally deal with my long term carrier. It is so refreshing to have a wonderful attorney like Mr. Scott Kalkin on my side and working with my long term disability carrier to ensure that I am being treated fairly and at the same time allow me the much needed time to heal from my injuries, which is a blessing. If you find yourself in an unfortunate situation where you need someone to advocate for you in regards to your long term disability policy, especially a complicated Erisa plan, I highly recommend Mr. Scott Kalkin. He is highly educated, intelligent, experienced and a very knowledgeable attorney that not only understands the law but will advocate for you every step of the way. I can truly say if it was not for my hiring Mr. Scott Kalkin and allowing him to take over and advocate for me in 2013, I can safely say that I would not have my much needed medical benefits today. I cannot thank him enough. He is truly a lifesaver.

I don't think anyone who gets involved in legal action comes away super-happy about it -- you just do the best with the hand you're dealt and hope you get some kind of justice for what happened to you. But if you need to get legal on someone, (bike-car collision in my case), Kimberly is great.
Sandy (her boss) comes to the important meetings (mediation), expert witness meeting, but Kimberly handled all the day-to-day of my case: depositions, records, letters to other side, stuff I don't know the name of, etc. She's a great communicator and easy to get a hold of. Super-professional and very confident and knowledgeable.
She's very smart and has enough experience to see all the angles ahead of time and steer you through the pitfalls. Since most cases settle, what you need from your lawyer is for them to 1) stop you from doing stupid stuff, and 2) talk you into doing smart stuff. For that, Kimberly was great, and very knowledgeable, and I think we had an excellent outcome. It costs a lot to sue someone, both in lawyer contingency fees and case expenses (which you pay all of and which get amazingly insanely huge if you go to trial), but Kimberly was always up front about all that, and that's part of why so many cases settle before trial.
My only critique of Kimberly is that occasionally I felt a touch "out of the loop", but most people aren't as micro-manager as I am, and when I did have a question Kimberly was always super-quick with an answer, and easy to get on the phone or email.
If I had to do it over I'd call Kimberly again, and that's very high praise for a lawyer! :)

Howard was engaged by a coalition group to assist with a coalition agreement. He also met with the group to guide them on the key watch outs for the group's proposed activities in the US. Mr. Zilversmit got my conviction reversed, and after it went back to the trial court he got the case dismissed. Even though I was innocent, I lost faith in the justice system, but Mr. Zilversmit restored my faith. He reviewed my transcripts and found errors that the Judge made that my trial attorney didn't even know about. He is amazing.

I don’t have a ton of experience with lawyers, but would 100% recommend working with Cary after utilizing him to help with our prenuptial agreement. Cary was knowledgeable, quick to respond, and made the process as easy and straightforward as possible.
Since Cary was my lawyer and my partner had a different lawyer, I can tell you that our experience was one of extreme differences. While Cary was no nonsense, great at listening and modifying the document to support our wishes, and respectful of our timeline- my partners lawyer was an absolute nightmare for us both.
One large difference between the two was that Cary had a flat rate fee and my spouses lawyer charged by the hour. Because of this, I firmly believe his lawyer drew the process out as much as possible, often completely disregarding our express wishes, and did everything extremely last minute- causing a lot of stress and unnecessary anxiety for us all.
That said, Cary did a fabulous job handling working with someone so unimpressive, and I believe is the only reason we ended up with a document at all.

There are a lot of good lawyers out there, but when your child is in trouble, you need a GREAT lawyer, and that's where Mike Silveira comes in. Today, Mike contacted us to share the fantastic news that our son's case was dismissed. This was no easy feat. Our son received a DUI in Nov. 2020, and to make matters worse, fentanyl (not intentionally ingested) was found in his system. My experience applying for the K1 visa for my fiancé with Yasrebi Law has been exceptional. They are honest, that is what I like the most. When I was looking for an attorney, I had two cases; one for my spouse and the other one my cousin’s immigration case. I met in person with Mr. Arash Yasrebi, I wanted him to take both cases and he said: he takes my spouse case because he is sure, in return to the fees I pay he will get me that green card but about my cousin’s case he said “No”, due to the nature of the case he cannot be sure of the result.
I insisted that he takes my cousin’s case, if no results I don’t blame him. He said he does not want to charge me for something that he cannot promise but he can refer me to people who work on such cases.
I had consultation with other attorneys too, and the fees I am paying to Yasrebi Law is almost twice as the others but I like their honesty. They are honest and professional.
