I chose attorney Lee Pickett based on good reviews I had seen and the fact that the fees charged by his firm were much more reasonable than others for an uncontested alimony modification. Other firms I contacted charged up to six times what he did. His staff was friendly, responsive and they efficiently handled the matter at hand. I would highly recommend his services.

At the time of my unfortunate circumstance, my 8 children and I became homeless, and had to live in a motel for about 3 years, however, because I fell financially short, Mrs. Papa decided to do my case pro bono. I had only been able to give her 50 bucks on a 15 hundred dollar case. I am looking forward to paying her this year
shortly. I an currently awaiting for a 19,898.00 dollar child support arrears check to clear from DOR. Once it's cleared, I will pay her the remainder of what I owe [plus a lil extra just because she never left me hanging out to dry. She did this based on a mother such as herself. Mr. Wood is a very kind man yet seemed more interested in his personal life than taking accurate notes for my social investigation case, which showed in his report, $3,000 dollars later.
He was habitually late to every appointment, he lied to the court stating he works by himself, however, his wife works right by his side and was rude to me via email. The interviews aren’t recorded so the court relies solely on his word.
As I stated he’s kind but it may be time for him to retire. If assigned by a Judge ask for a different social investigator.

So I’m sure every client experience will vary based off their factors regarding their divorce but here is my take on it. The firm can be expensive without a doubt. However I am sure there are more expensive and cheaper firms out there. I will be paying off my dues for a bit to come, but you are paying for the experience the firm offers. If I did not seek representation I would have absolutely been taken advantage of by my ex. The firms professionalism and knowledge was shown when my cases counsels started going head to head.
I was represented by Chauntel Miller and she did an amazing job helping me throughout the whole process which was lengthy. Not only was she able to get a deal that I was happy with and worked best for me and my child she taught me some renewed attributes such as self confidence and discipline which was definitely lacking during the divorce. I had my initial visit with Mr. Wolfe, and I paid $100.00, which was a fee. On 4.14.23, I made another payment to Mr. Wolfe in the amount of $375.00. I was making installments toward my bankruptcy. I actually, called prior to that last payment to pay the bankruptcy in full. But, I never could get Mr. Wolfe on the phone. When, I did speak with him, I only made a payment, instead of the full amount. Well, Mr. Wolfe went ghost on me after, taking my money and not providing me with any service. I've tried to reach out to him numerous times and have stopped by and left a message , No Call, and NO REFUND.

Bryan was very thorough in explaining the bankruptcy process. He even took the time to meet with me on a Saturday to fit my work schefule. Clear expectations were set, debt couseling courses were provided. Al Mickler was with me for my 341 meeting. He was very experienced and down to earth. Their receptionist Barbara was very warm and welcoming. Their fees were less than other attorneys in the area. And for the record, I like the cat in the office lol. Just be careful. Oh yes the cat walks all over the conference room on paper work and tries to get on people. Terrible no professionalism. I wish I could give them 0 stars. We had the absolute worst experience with this law office. We should’ve checked the other reviews but my husband coworker recommended them. Not sure why because they were HORRIBLE. My husband received a traffic citation for speeding. He hadn’t received a speeding violation in over 15 years. We were informed by attorney Britney that she would represent my husband in court and he didn’t need to come since his job is extremely demanding. She also told us she would get the ticket amount decreased, and/or keep points off his license based on his driving record but he may have to take a driving course. On his court day we were informed another attorney went in Britney’s place. This said attorney reported back that my husband was found guilty and needed to take the driving class but no points would be on his license. Two days later, the attorney David Taylor reached out saying something different and the attorney that went in Britney’s place wasn’t familiar with the process, therefore not explaining the outcome correctly. When I tried to speak with attorney Britney, she referred us back to attorney David who was very rude and used vulgar language after I expressed how displeased I was with their service. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. This was a waste of money. Thank God my husband and I was able to get the situation rectified on our own.

Folks, please do a little research on spotting fake reviews. Beckus, you SHOULD know this, being an attorney, but buying fake google reviews is illegal.
Mr. Beckus represents my ex. I am pro se. Ultimately in the end, Mr. Beckus has accomplished nothing for my ex other than giving him a lot of debt and making it harder for him to pay his child support. So we are both worse off because of him.
Also, I am reporting him to the FL Bar Association for his degrading remarks sent to me via email today. These remarks were made after I (a pro se litigant with no experience) corrected him, for the umpteenth time about details in our court order.
He has NO BUSINESS degrading a self represented woman like this. And no I have not been nice to him either, but I am not an attorney and my rudeness was in response to him making mistakes and causing BS while his rudeness was in response to me correcting him on that bs.
He is an infantile, toddlerish little man. Go take a look at how he responded to his other negative reviews. I have spoken to women he has represented in the past who are in financial ruin because of him and gained nothing from his services.
He admitted to me that he currently has over 100 open cases. Just him and his one assistant. Do not hire this clown. He will pour your money down the toilet and give you nothing for it.
And then he might call you ugly.
