When when my wife and I first came across Jake we were jaded from bad experiences with previous attorneys who truly could have cared less about prioritizing our interests. What Jake did upon the first conversation was put our minds at ease by letting us know the options rather then pressuring us to make an inappropriate decision (simply to get us out the door). Most of all, EVERYTIME we had a question, concern, or issue, Jake was never further than a phone/email/text away from getting back to us, sometimes it took a few hours but we was ALWAYS got a sufficient and timely response. When we had our hearing with the trustee it went surprisingly smooth because Jake had prepped our paperwork and situation in such that our position was crystal clear to the trustee.
Bankruptsy is a really tough experience on a family. My wife and I would recommend to anyone needing these services to find an attorney that can keep the situation and details concise so that everyone understands at all moments what is going on. I just want to say James Latimer and the whole Ladimir law. Firm was great awesome from start to finish except for Sergio Monteon, who was very rude condescending and answered questions in tone not very customer service oriented, but I’d have to say Mr. Latimer and the rest of the team is awesome not only did he achieve in winning my case with Workmen’s Comp., but also went above and beyond with applying me for subsequent injuries, benefits trust fund, and also won my case at 100% disabled. I have been a client for a few years since the onset of my wc injury. Throughout my entire time being a client I have experienced good customer service from both staff and attorneys. However, their Office Manager Monroe, is very rude and unprofessional. I find this to be so disappointing that he interacts with clients is this tone. It is also unfortunate because he is a representative of the firm.

This attorney does not supervise his paralegal. She refused to acknoweldge my mortgage payments and listened to the lender when I had proof of all payments. My house was almost foreclosed. She would not let me speak to Mclaughlin and only when I parked my body in his office did I get any assistance from him. He admitted that he did not know what was going on after six months of my struggle with his paralegal. He charged me twice to get my case active and now I find out that it was done incorrectly. I am very disappointed.

Bill Mclaughlin does not seem to be fully competent and has a condescending demeanor. He doesn't return phone calls in a timely fashion and provides questionable advice. If you want to feel worse about your situation this is the attorney to go to. However, if you want an attorney to provide constructive feedback and solutions to your problems please look elsewhere for your bankruptcy needs.
