Kevin helped me with a residential construction contract issue that ultimately went sour, and fast. He quickly assessed the fact pattern surrounding my situation and was equally quick to identify all the issues and angles and formulate a strategy therefrom. He made most of the other attorneys we spoke to look like My Cousin Vinnie, but before Vinnie won his case.
Also, Kevin drafted an awesome complaint that garnered very high praise and compliments from at least 2 other attorneys who read it.
The best thing is to have Kevin review your real estate and construction contracts before you enter into them. Otherwise, and as our experience showed, it's better late than never.

Kevin helped me out with an issue regarding a Residential Building License for the State of Georgia. He gave me heads up on the many and varied issues that could come up regarding this license issue. Once i went to the meeting with the Board for Licensing issues in Macon i felt very prepared and at ease that I could handle whatever question might come up. Just in case an anomaly occurred which we had not thought of, Kevin, gave me his cell number and told me to call him immediately if I felt I needed him. The meeting went well and I did not need him. I think one of the main reasons why things went well is that I was pretty confident I could answer any question thrown at me. Kevin was an integral part of me having that confidence. I recommend him highly and will be using him again on some other things.

I have watched Kevin give great advice on several forums to people needing help with construction contracting disputes. He was able to give great advice to us on a forum and we were able to resolve the complaint with little expense.
Kevin is also an advocate for licensing for contractors in GA and helps protect consumers from unlicensed or unethical contractors.

David E Oles is by far the most effective attorney that I have seen in action in the dealing of child custody. He worked tremendously well (using his Harvard education) enhancing my local counsel in Colorado with his excellent leadership helping the productivity of the time spent in the local court. I have been through a highly litigated divorce/battle for over 7 years as the result of trying to exercise my minimal court ordered time with my children against horrible opposition. I have never felt the court has completely heard my side or ruled in any way to assist me with this until now.
My children have been severely alienated and were used as weapons by their mother. It has been her goal to undermine, brainwash, lie, and do everything in her power to try and stop me from my weekend visitation with my children. She has used the school, church, friends, public court system, child protective services, restraining orders and numerous false police reports in attempt to achieve this and was very close to getting this done. Through the past three years I was reported to child protected services 9 times unfounded. These reports were carried out by a violence advocacy group counselor 6 times, 3 times by the mother and her friend’s. Previous court orders have only empowered the mother of my children to do this. When David entered my case in May of 2012 my oldest son was refusing to see me and the younger two were in the process of doing the same. From that time to date there were emergency motions to stop my vacation time with the children twice, once from the mother and once from a biased anti dad child legal representative.
All denied by a very wise magistrate. This would have never happened if David Oles didn't intervene with motions and repeals to protect my parenting time. In the final hearing there was contempt along with a motion to modify. David Oles went against 3 female attorneys (2 that specialize in high conflict custody from Denver) and a CLR (who was extremely biased against me) all with the goal to diminishing my time with the children to supervised parenting time and tripling my child support. They combined had twice the court time that we did. Under severe time constraints David got all the important evidence that the magistrate needed to hear and crossed every important point leaving the mother the liar that she is, exposing the un-ethical counselor for what she was and discrediting all of their witnesses. The opposing party had us two to one and left with their heads hanging and the truth prevailed which is not easy in this kind of case.
Thanks to David working with and leading local counsel, my parenting time is significantly increased and the following has been ordered to happen. The court has found alienation to exist by the mother (doesn’t happen often in my county).
My child support didn’t change in fact went down a little. We won a sanctions/contempt with double the make-up time and attorney’s fees. The un-ethical counselor was rejected by the court (no longer aloud to see the children and found to be coaching the children practicing dual relationships) with enough evidence to go after her legally if necessary. The mother is required to get therapy with the threat of custody change if she continues this behavior.
I feel that David E Oles is not just an attorney. He is an attorney that truly has found his niche or calling in life. He commands a presence against all odds in stubborn courts that have a hard time with doing things out of the norm of what “local society likes” and sees as correct. Man or women I would recommend him to either, my one regret is that I didn’t find him sooner.

Words alone cannot express just how great David Oles and his staff have been. A family member recommended I speak with him based on other professional recommendations. Paul is honest, hard-working, and smart. We found him to be very knowledgeable about the process of fighting in the North Georgia District for Long Term Disability Benefits under ERISA. My husband suffers from an unusual and misunderstood illness but has objective evidence of his disabilities (not just self-reported symptoms). Ms. Christian worked with my parents over a decade ago to set up their land based business and conduct estate planning using a family trust that would withstand the test of time in the form of multiple generations, possible divorces of family members, etc.
No one expected we'd need the estate planning Ms. Christian did for us quite so soon. With the sudden passing of my parents, I was left as executor of their estates and operating manager and president of the family business. Due to Ms. Christian's extremely thorough work when designing the trust, she was able to help me wade through the complexities and unforeseen (on my part) difficulties associated with managing two estates and the family businesses.
Ms. Christian's extremely thorough and detail oriented nature made a very complicated family affair run smoothly and effectively. I have had many attorneys in the past, but none that took such careful time explaining all the steps of the process and then making it all happen exactly as described. The loss of both my parents in such a short period of time left me shell-shocked, but I never once had to worry that the estate filings were done on time and correctly. She made a horrible time in my life so much easier because unlike other attornies I've worked with in the past, I realized that I could trust in her integrity, knowledge and ability to get the job done right. Honesty, integrity, and exceptional knowledge and skills are surprisingly difficult to find when looking for an attorney. My family and I hit the proverbial jackpot with Ms. Christian.
As a side note - a few years before my parents' passing, there was a divorce in the family. The non-family member tried very hard and spent quite a lot of money with their own talented team of attorneys - trying to break the family trust to access assets that weren't theirs. The trust was written so well and so thoroughly by Ms. Christian that the judge wouldn't even agree to a hearing on the matter despite multiple requests and compelling arguments by the opposing counsel.
Ms. Christian has also handled a number of corporate legal issues for our companies over the years. In all cases, her expertise provided exactly the advice needed to protect the company and resolve conflicts. My family and I will be forever grateful for her work.

Attorney Deborah A. Stewart is an excellent and outstanding Lawyer. She welcome us as clients, and she always worked in our best interest. Here is just one of many examples that really stood out to me and my husband during our case. We were filing for Guardianship/Conservatorship of our 33 year old adult daughter whom suffer's with a mental illness called, "Schizophenia". We were very honest with her about our finances, and she showed us that she was listening, because she saved us alot of time and money by suggesting that we should only file for Guardianship. My husband and I asked her why did she suggest just Guardianship, she then said, "I know that Conservatorship would mean more money expenses for you and Mr. Ford. The cost along would be a percentage of Katisa's asset, & it would mean more bookkeeping to maintain each year before the annual review required as Katisa's Conservator." Attorney Stewart's knowledge on this subject saved our family money and time. She stated that becoming Katisa's Representative payee would be enough, along with us as her Guardian would be more than enough to support our daughter thru her recovery program & final release back to our home; where we all could have a second chance to be united as a family. Katisa has been gone from us for over one entire year. That's a long time not to be able to see or talk to a love one.
Her professionalism was demonstrated in court as she summons the most critical witness to speak on our behalf to show that our daughter, Katisa was a very mentally sick individual. She could have summon's Katisa's apartment manager as a witness, but I stress to her that I promised the manager, that if she would allow me to pick up my daughter's personal belonging, once she had completed evicting Katisa, that we would not have her called to be a witness. The manager was very gratiful that we kept out word to her, because she feared losing her job. When, I looked over our daughter's personal paperwork, I found alot of evidences that help us win Guardian of Katisa. So the last thing that we wanted to do, was to keep Katisa's apartment manager out of court about Katisa. Attorney Deborah A. Stewart respected our requests, because she trully cares about her clients. Another time after Guardianship was granted to us, she reached out to us when DeKalb County jail was giving us a hard time about releasing Katisa into our care. A third time, she reached out to us when Katisa's defense Attorney Lisa M. Wolff was very slow in returning our calls and emails about getting Katisa transported to a recovery program that we had set up with Peachford Hospital. I'm sure that when we set up a hospital bed with Peachford Hospital for our daughter and confirmed her medicard and medicare at the advise of Attorney Deborah A. Stewart; that's when Katisa defense Attorney Lisa Wolff got Katisa moved up on the list to go to Georgia Regional Hospital. Originally, we were told that Katisa had to wait an additional 4-6 more months, before she would be eligible to go to Georgia Regional for a recovery treatment program. Guess what, Katisa been in recovery for two weeks, now. She's getting the medical help that she really needs.
Attorney Deborah A. Stewart still keeps intouch with us, because she is a woman of her word and a professional-pro in her field as a Family Attorney. She wants to share Katisa's victory, when she finally comes home to live with her family again. She has also stated the facts about Katisa's case to the point, were if Katisa does not recovery, she has already given me & my husband a list of mental institutions that we can visit before placing Katisa into their care. Me and my husband can & do, glady recommend Attorney Deborah A. Stewart to anyone who may ask us for any family legal representation in the future. She is an outstanding, honest and caring Attorney. My husband and I give Attorney Deborah A. Stewart a 10, on a scale from 0 to 10.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I recently had a frustrating experience with Vayman & Teitelbaum, P.C. Despite a very cordial introduction call, the consultation meeting with the attorney was repeatedly rescheduled and I was ultimately left hanging. The lack of communication, follow up, and professionalism was disappointing.
While I understand that law firms can be busy, it is unacceptable to lead prospective clients on with hopes of representation then never giving him/her the chance to even get a consultation. It was suggested to me, by this firm via text, to seek representation elsewhere without any explanation other than "[they] have a lot going on."
I know that some firms may shy away from clients who have legal plans that cover costs of legal fees as they probably do not make as much off of those cases; however, I would urge this firm to be more transparent about their hesitancy AND/OR remove themselves from the legal plan's list of attorneys to avoid having to disappoint people in already frustrating situations.
