I’m so glad I chose Josephia Law. I’ve been in divorce proceedings for over a year now. And every step of the way the people at Josephia Law have been prompt, professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The attorney on my case is Massa Massaquoi-King. I’m lucky to have her on my case. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. She’s also very attentive, I don’t have to explain things more than once and she will let me know the best way we should proceed.
Not only is she great at her job, she really cares. Up until recently, my wife was not allowing me to take my son to see my family without her. Recently at the merits hearing for my divorce case, Massa displayed her knowledge and experience in that courtroom. The judge gave an order so that I can spend more time with my son on a schedule. Coincidentally, outside the courtroom my 3 year old son was waiting for us to finish. I picked him up and my son and I both thanked Massa because it was going to be the first time he was going to be able to spend with me and my side of the family for the weekend. It was an emotional moment for all 3 of us outside that courtroom.

DON'T GET SCAMMED!
Before I signed on with this firm I talked to Ms Rouse and explained my financial situation. She assured me that I wouldn't have to constantly dump money into my trust (which was a lie). After giving them 10k with no results, they droped me because I couldn't afford to give them $2500 for an upcoming court date. I went with another lawyer who handled my case for $1500 with excellent results. When my new lawyer reviewed what was previously done, he found several documents were filed incorrectly and I was charged each time they had to resubmit them. Mass King is a joke! She showed up to a virtual hearing looking very unkept (with 6 month old box braids). I was embarrassed. There were several reviews about how this firm takes people money and literally drop them right before court. I wonder why you can't see them anymore......

Atty Valkenet is a very straight forward kind of guy. Very knowledgeable, honest and to the point. No sugar coating. Provided key details as to why this situation would be a very difficult situation. Even though not exactly what we were hoping to hear, we respect his insight and direction. On September 16, 2017, I was involved in a serious accident when I was knocked off of my bicycle by a tram which then ran over my leg. I was flown to Shock Trauma where I remained for one and a half months. In talking with other lawyers who did not want to take the case, I was referred to Mr. Larry Greenburg. He was very honest and from the beginning he told me it was going to be a difficult case to win because of Maryland’s Contributory Negligence Law. However, he and his team worked tirelessly from the beginning and guided me step by step to get the best outcome. His legal skill was impressive, but just as important was that he was supportive and truly cared about me. Mr. Greenburg was a calming and confident presence throughout the entire process, which lasted five years due to COVID. His firm is family oriented, and they were all involved in the case. Everyone involved was equally competent and professional and I always felt they would do everything they could to get to get the best result for me. Mr. Greenberg deposed many people for the case, and I was truly impressed with how thoroughly prepared and competent he was. I had retained Optima Tax Relief to handle my IRS problem , but did not receive the customer service or timely response needed in an IRS situation. I searched the internet "high and low". Amazing services! From my experience he went out of his way to get things handled and as quickly as possible. A weekend trip out of town turned into a two month stay In central booking with no bail and considered a flight risk. By our second court date I was on my way home! This man got up and educated the judge and the da on the law to the point they had to go over it in court, and realized at that point they no longer had a case due to an error on their side. When my case was dismissed and charges dropped the DA was not happy and said they would still be pursuing other route’s. When I made it back home the Da had already reopened new charges. I was states and states away and he put it to rest yet again. I was never charged everything was dismissed. He is definitely someone you want in your corner during a tough situation.
