Chris may be the best attorney on the planet. I cannot express this enough. His best attributes are very relatable ones. He is sincere, knowledgeable, honest, transparent, helpful, and most importantly, will put your needs first.
I had a very specific problem which was quite unique and Chris spent the time, without charging me for every breath he took, to understand my problem and offered multiple resolutions that I was completely unaware of. He is so incredibly smart and competent that any question I raised had brilliant answers with solutions and follow through.
I would hire Chris 10,000 times over for anything within his wheelhouse and that is an incredibly vast amount of skills.

Even though he could have gotten more fees from me, Mr. Hartley explained that sometimes there are more, cheaper options available other than lawyers.
For example, trusts are great, but in my situation, I could get the protection I needed from Umbrella Insurance at a tiny fraction of the price. Who knew it covered that stuff? I thought it was just for if you hit your limits on an accident, but it actually can sometimes cover personal liability.
Oh, he and his people also helped me re-title my house, which apparently was done wrong by my previous preparer when I bought the place. I was surprised and frustrated but grateful that someone pointed out to me the error. They handled it quickly and efficiently and at an affordable price.
Also, his support staff is amazing! I was trying to pay online using a credit card and couldn't figure it out and within about 2 minutes, I got a phone call from the front desk who offered to do it for me. I didn't even have to pick up the phone or find their number.
Everyone is very professional and gives frank and helpful legal advice. I was very happy and surprised when they suggested low cost alternatives, and how quickly and easily everything went.
The next house I buy, modification to a will I need, or if I'm ever sued, I know who I'm calling!

First of all, may I compliment on how awesome he is??? The most affordable lawyer I have ever seen for a case like this. So affordable I don't even want to post how little my fiancé (at the time) had to pay in case he changes his rate into the future. That's how affordable and fair he is. In all fairness, I did his filing for him. Haha
If you have a lazy gold digger for a wife who wants to take your money bone dry he is definitely your man. I would say he is the best divorce lawyer in Hampton Roads. The best quality and price that I have ever seen. And he will end it! End it! End it!!!! He got her to agree to terms of my fiancé to sign...and this is a woman who initially wanted to murder him! I thought I was saving a life when we met. Anyway...
I know he thinks he was always in email corrospondance with my fiancé but it was always me that emailed him, found him in the first place and made things looked like my fiancé had sent it. I did it out of love *sigh* at the time *sigh*. Only thing he ever did when it came to you was verbally speak. Never email. You were always speaking to yours truly. I'm just really good with writing things. Kinda my schtick.
I wasn't impressed with any other 10 or so lawyers I checked out, some even in person...I thought he was screwed. Lol. Because my fiancé at the time had no money because he pays child support and apparently still doesn't understand responsibility until he has to get it court ordered. Which I think is ridiculous. Who likes court??? Mark is your man. He can handle it. He may be the only one that I could ever envision to be chipper in court. Probably because he knows he's going to win. Lol:
So glad I found him because prior to him, he had another lawyer I literally fired. So when I found this website I remembered I forgot to rate the poor man! Mark! Here's a read so long it will make up the time it took for me to actually rate you.

This lawyer Wes ver unprofessional, He waited until he used all of my money unti he told me that he was not going to be able to help me. He schedule two appts. for me and he waited that day of and cancel both appt. at the last minute and I took of work both days and I had to take him to court and ended up firing him be cause I was very dissatisfied. So please think twice before hiring this so call lawyer. Never again.

If you care about you best chances avoid Ron Slaven! The rest of the staff are nice. Slaven is not worth the price and most likely won’t use any evidence in court that you’re paying for and will not use any evidence you give him or legal aid. Most important he will not update you how he will proceed to handle the case. John and Janet and Angel are much better. Avoid Ron Slaven he even forgot to bring up my only witness and did not use one single document or evidence that he printed out or document you pay for such as police, medical, or legal documents. He wings it the day before unprepared, forgetful, and used no evidence that I ended up paying $2,000 for he never brought it up in court. He only cares about money not you don’t make the same mistake.
