We used Ms Jones several years ago for estate planning but moved away from the area 5 years ago. We decided to come back from San Antonio to use her again because she is easy to work with (although Zoom was an option, too) It feels like you’re talking to a friend or family member not a lawyer. She’s thorough and addresses all of our questions in an easy to understand manner. We would recommend her to anyone.

Paige Jones was wonderful in helping us chart out our will with our tricky estate. We have a daughter with Down Syndrome and we needed to ensure that correct financial accounts are established and those assets would be inaccessible to her without any legal issues. Jim Dossey provided excellent guidance in setting up our estate plan. It had been almost 20 years since it had been reviewed and he and his staff did a great job replacing it. Jim was very helpful in explaining the changes to the law over the intervening years and their implications. My wife and I (and her parents before us) have all been clients of Jim and his father Dale. They are an excellent law firm with a long background of serving the community (legally and personally). I am writing this to express our appreciation of the staff in general at Dossey and Jones. From the first phone call we made to the end of our transactions everyone was pleasant, personable, but not stuffy.
Mr. Martinez, Esteban as we have come to call each other by first names, was so easy to talk to about our needs. He was very knowledgeable and was able to translate complicated legal language into terms we could understand.
Though our situation is not terribly complex he treated us with the same respect that I imagine he would with more high profile clients.
That said I would highly recommend Dossey and Jones and Mr. Esteban Martinez.

I approached the law office of Owens and spoke to Britt Hall this past week, needing assistance with completing the paperwork for my final divorce decree. He was very helpful with advice, legal information regarding the filing of a pro se divorce, issues related to child custody and child support as we already had a case filed with the Office of Atty General, and gave of his time to hear my situation and assist with the need. He is extremely bright, professional, and typed up the entire legal document from memory - I was amazed. Although many cannot say good things about attorneys, he was empathetic, caring and willing to listen. Would definitely recommend.

I met Denise five years ago and and she helped me with some motions in my divorce as I was Pro Se after releasing the attorney I had hired (lawyers don't get fired, they withdraw) . I wish that I had consulted with her in the first place as she made a lasting impression that brought me back 5 years later. This year it became necessary to modify my final decree, and was too complex to go it alone. Denise and her staff handled my case professionally and ethically while giving me realistic expectations. The end result was a favorable outcome for my children and myself (icing on the cake). I hope that I will not need her again in the future, but will be my first call if I do. I highly recommend.

Judd handled my custody case amazingly. He is very knowledgeable and several times went above and beyond what I expected from an attorney to help with my somewhat unique family law case. This man is a Legend. He really took my felony 3 case to the next level and got it heavily reduced to a class a misdemeanor with time served. I'm now a free man. I kept my 2nd amendment rights.

I’ll get straight to the point. This is the worse attorney I could have been appointed to by the court. She was very unprofessional never showed up to any of my court dates, never informed me that she would not be there either. Tried to talk me into taking a plea WITHOUT informing me that my blood results for my DWI case came back MONTHS AGO showing I was under the limit and my case could get dismissed because of that. She hates criticism and when I expressed she was unprofessional she stated I could get another lawyer and she would put in a motion to remove herself from my case….. a case she clearly was not invested in to begin with.

Hired Mark to handle my father's estate. He was friendly, happy to take my checks, but his counsel created more costs than it saved. He did not take any initiative, he was not helpful, and the counsel I received, required me to hire another attorney, in order to fix what they missed. I do not recommended hiring Mark Creighton to handle estate matters. I am easy to find, contact me if you need a recommendation on an estate attorney that will work for you... as opposed to this firm, that just did not measure up and just went through the motions...
