Although there had been no changes to my health, my insurance company deemed I was no longer disabled, and able to return to full-time work. They abruptly cancelled my insurance. Rhonda Harris Buckner not only successfully reinstated my benefits which allowed our family to keep our house, but she also helped me apply for a separate insurance that was also granted. Rhonda made what could have been a very stressful situation as painless as possible. Traveling to her office and sitting for long meetings would have compromised my health. Our communication was done over the phone and electronically, and she always responded within 24 hours. This enabled me to focus on my health while she focused on my case. I was floored when my disability insurance company called one day and said they terminated my LTD benefits. I had always cooperated and communicated with them so I had absolutely no idea this was coming. According to them, I was now fine and should return to work full time. Needless to say, I was not fine and not at all capable of working. Rhonda was recommended by another attorney and she saved the day! She was incredibly patient and thorough. She was always very thoughtful with my questions and I knew she felt my pain and was right there with me as the insurance company made me jump through their hoops. It's a very stressful thing to endure (especially as you now have no income) so it's really important to have an attorney that is so experienced, responsive and caring like Rhonda!
