I recently moved across the country to San Diego and started a business so getting a great/trusted lawyer was high on my priority list. Kris Mukherji was highly recommend to me by a friend and I'm so thankful we connected.
I needed help setting up and S-Corporation for my business and someone to review a purchase agreement. As a first time business owner I had a lot of questions and Kris was always so quick to respond and make sure I understood everything. My S-corp filing was done with hardly any effort from me and was filed in no time. My purchase agreement review ended up being must more involved than we had anticipated. Unfortunately, the other attorneys we worked with weren't the most professional and organized but Kris stepped in and made sure everything in the purchase agreement was completed and done properly (even thought that wasn't his job to do). I can't imagine a better experience working with Yingfei and I am so grateful of her help. I hired Yingfei to help my mom apply for her green card and I interviewed several attorneys. Yingfei stood out from my conversation with her. She's knowledgeable, patient, effective and experienced in representing Chinese clients. I applied GC myself years ago but given how fragile US/China relation is today, I didn't hesitate to hire an attorney. I am so glad I did! Yingfei told me that if a package is prepared well, then GC will be granted without interview (for parents anyway). That's exactly what happened to us. My mom received her EAD/SSN after 6 months. At 7 months, her I-485 is approved and her GC is in the mail. The best experience ever - no interview, no RFI, just a very simple straightforward process thanks to Yingfei. Lauren helped us with a rodent issue with our landlord. She helped us identify our rights as tenants, inform our landlord of uninhabitable issues, and work through mediation and agreements to settle our move-out and lease termination. James was fantastic. He worked hard on my case and it showed. When my company was sued (class action) for allegedly violating the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act out of an Arkansas state court, James researched the law and my case and discovered that the plaintiff’s allegations had not investigated their claims at all.
Not only did he win the case by filing a Motion to Dismiss (in Arkansas), he sued the plaintiff on my behalf for malicious prosecution and abuse of process.

Over a year ago I wrote a previous review I pasted below. I felt compelled today to revisit that review as how relationships playout over the long haul is what really matters in who you choose to represent you in life's most important matters. There is not anything I would change in my first review and in fact I would add the following additional context.
I am still in the midst of the legal matter I initiated with Steven and he has stayed the course through various ups and downs always stay true to give his best in my interest and do all he can to maximizes my investment in him.
I have had to partner and get advice from other law firms over the course of this very complicated multi-state matter and by far Steven and SD Biz Law are my preferred firm over all others in the attention, support and value they provide me. This is without question in working with over 6 firms on this matter, and the only other firm that I have found valuable was one he sought out on his own on my behalf to aid us.
Steven is the attorney you want on your side period.

We spoke to a few different labor attorneys before speaking with Steven Riznik at San Diego Biz Law. Steven immediately calmed our nerves after being named in a labor code violation complaint class action lawsuit. Steven took the time to understand our case where much of his initial time was complimentary. Steven and his firm did an excellent job communicating to us on the status of our case and was expeditiously responsive to phone calls and emails. San Diego Biz Law was able to negotiate the release of us as defendants from the suit altogether within 18 days of initial contact with them, saving us thousands of dollars!
