After traveling the world with the US Air Force we decided to settle here in the Tidewater and raise our two daughters. Now that Vtech and UVA are in our rear view mirror, we are now downsizing to a home on the James and decided to use Hanger Law during this complex transaction. Jeana and Hillary were excellent - providing a clear explanation of events and ensuring that everything is done properly and efficiently. Mr. Anderson zealously represented me in criminal court and ended it with a Not Guilty verdict on ALL counts (4 charges). As a black woman, that means more than this review can explain. Attorney Anderson is comprehensive, thorough, and communicates very well with you as his client. When he meets with you, it’s about YOU. He made sure I was on the same page, asked me about my concerns, and explained anything that I was unsure about. His office is organized, clean, welcoming, and accommodates privacy. Mr. Anderson’s ability to articulate his argument in my defense was sophisticated. He unapologetically swings a big bat… and it matters because it demonstrates that he is passionate about what he does and does not care about what you look like nor what you did. He cares about advocating for you and fighting for your interest as if you were family. (That is how I felt). He will stand firm in front of you and face the adversary in a godlike manner. Mr. Reichle has done an excellent job helping me protect my property rights from local County government encroachment. He and his staff are very available and responsive. Complete waste of money, almost cost me the most important piece of my life (my children). I would literally do EVERYTHING for the case. EVERYTHING. All she had to do was present it and she couldn't even do that right. I had to fire her mid court hearing it was that bad and the judge wouldn't let me speak because "I hired an attorney to speak for me"
The ONLY positive thing I can say about working with her is that I became so knowledgeable and good at the legal system, I ended up getting a scholarship to attend law school.

I have dealt with damages from, trying to get rid of and be done with, this sorry excuse of an attorney. She was highly unprofessional during my few dealings with her, discussing other cases by name in front of me, using profanity during meetings, NEVER returning calls herself...the list goes on.
I received multiple calls from her office during which I was told I needed to track down and obtain this document or the other. I would also be instructed that *I* needed to pay for however many copies of each that she required (even though they would have been free had her office done so) and then bring them into her. If it wasn't documents she wanted, it was for me to make phone calls to various professionals. Now, I'm fairly sure that the hard come by cash I had paid her was so that SHE would be handling all this. All said and done, there was not one single thing she did in any legal capacity to further my case AT ALL. In all truth I feel her actions, or I should say, her lack of appropriate action, ANY action, caused significant damage to the incredibly important matter I entrusted her with.
