I would give a negative 5 stars if possible. This is worst law firm. I had to get a new attorney because they lied and didn't do anything. For years. They cost me thousands in my settlement because of way they handles case at first.

Chad handled my disability claim with the social security office after they had turned me down. He was easy to work with. Very thorough and patient. He put a lot on hours in on my behalf. Explained the process well, answered my questions, and kept me informed as to what was happening with my case. He even assisted me in getting up to Salt Lake for my hearing. David Jardine is a compassionate and persistent attorney who will fight for what is right. When I found that the opposing party of my small claims case had hired an attorney, I decided that I would need legal assistance as well to make it fair. Mr. Jardine took my case three days before the scheduled court trial. He persisted through extended court dates and appeals until the end of the final district court case. For over 20 years Mr. Abbott has been my general business Lawyer. Specifically, I have hired him to represent me in four matters; to setup the Corporation, a partnership buyout, a Licensing dispute and a Real Estate matter. I have been pleased with the work that was done on all four matters. All of the staff at the office are professional, available and respond quickly to my concerns. I had a medical malpractice case, in which I had originally hired a lawyer who should never had taken the case on in the first place. After nearly five years of going no where that lawyer quit my case claiming financial reasons. I called Nelson's office the same day I got the letter, explained the situation and was told to come up the next day with all my documents. After consulting with him, he said he would try to help me, there were lots of things wrong and improperly handled but he saw that I had a legitimate claim. He was able to save my case and took me through to a settlement that I was very lucky to get, after the major errors by my previous attorney. Nelson and his office staff were very responsive to any call or email I sent. They kept me fully informed through out the process and they demonstrated they cared about me and my case. Hopefully I will never again need a malpractice attorney, but I would call on Nelson if ever I did. Wish I had met him before I got involved with the first one, who cost me valuable time and thousands of dollars.

This attorney avoids returning phone calls, text messages, replying to emails, and has a tendency to disappear when you need help.
This attorney is quick to believe non-credible people and non-credible information about his client and jump on the bandwagon / false narrative without getting the other side of the story or prematurely before getting the proven facts.
If you communicate to him how you feel things are going with his "services" and improvements you would like to see, he is quick to dismiss your concerns, act in a rude manner by calling you a name and/or make false assumptions about you based on no evidence. He doesn't like getting constructive criticism.

I was in an extremely messy divorce process with a spouse who was making false allegation. I went from having supervised visitation to joint physical and legal custody, defended me successfully in mediation, he got me a good deal in spite of the negative experience a divorce is. Mr. Cahill gave me lots of advice before the divorce filed which was a huge help for me as a client in the legal issues I faced in the process. Highly recommended.

Trent Cahill seemed like a nice professional guy when I first met him; however, during the process of him representing me, there were many times where I felt he was representing the opposing party. He tried pushing me to make decisions that would help the opposing party. He would sometimes send time sensitive emails later than I would expect something of time sensitive nature to be handled. I tried to communicate that I would prefer to receive emails sooner. But I continued to receive emails late. I would recommend Trent Cahill if you want to spend a lot of money for subpar performance and results. I would not recommend Trent Cahill if you want to be strongly represented.
