This is the worst, most unreliable, impossible to reach lawyer. He’s in charge of my dads estate & I’ve been trying to reach him for two months without any progress. I’m in a domestic violent relationship, which I’ve communicated to him & in the time it’s taken to try to reach him, things have gotten so much worst. My ex-partner mishandled all the resources I contributed to our shared living space leaving me completely broke currently & now I am trapped in this home with no money to escape, mentally broken down & hardly capable of working, & my only hope for getting out of this situation is checking into a women’s shelter or Douglas releasing my share of my inheritance so that I can afford a different living arrangement.
I believe this lawyer to be complicit in the abuse I’m experiencing & I know my dad wouldn’t want a man like this who’s doing nothing in his power to help his daughter… to profit from managing his estate.

I had a difficult couple cases and Paul has never let me down. He stepped into a case recently that was a nightmare and he made the other attorney look like such an amateur. David Clark was recommended to me after I had been through three attorneys, all of whom took my money and then did nothing to get the matter resolved. Mine is a complicated divorce involving legal abuse, financial abuse, emotional abuse, coercion and control, and domestic violence.

He has been diligent in pursuing several avenues to get me a fair financial resolution, and to demand that my husband account for the abuse he perpetrated on my body and my spirit. Fred has been meeting with us and guiding us through the trecherous waters of opening a new business, multiple LLCs, constructing strategic employment contracts and navigating us through other employment contract offers for about 3 years now. He is cynical, hyper vigilante and absolutely THE BEST person to have in your legal corner. He offers very objective advice, erring on the conservative/safe side of things but also cheers us on when we take risks while helping us do so only after knowing all variables and facts in play. He is also extremely responsive, offering contract advice promptly and has been avle to meet with us same day on several occasions. Elizabeth and her team were amazing to work with. A relative had passed away, and we were working through a complex title transfer process. I do not live in Shasta County, which made things even more complicated.

Billed 2.5X more hours more than necessary (IMO) and attempted to justify with standard “expertise” and “fee shift” arguments because the other side had a podunk attorney. Didn’t know their client was a former legal team PM for one of most valuable companies in the world and sought a 2nd opinion from someone at much much bigger firm. Point: I know how law firms and attorneys work, and I know how Jr. and unnamed partners are incentivized to bill. I called B.S. on their billing and at the end of the day, attorneys provide a service. Like any other service, if the value isn’t there for the customer, the provider gets fired.

Sean answered my calls or called me back right away. I had a Spousal support case where my ex-husband was receiving support while living with his girlfriend before the divorce was final. I found Sean by searching for P I 'so in the area where he lived. I live a long distance away. Sean not only investigated my case, his report convinced the judge to terminate the support order, but also he was very encouraging to me when we talked. He was my cheerleader. I needed that.
I had had 2 different attorneys, neither of whom were encouraging at all. They did produce some useful documents and guidance through the court system for a total of $7000. After letting the 2nd one go, I had the bright idea to hire a private investigator and Sean was great. He helped me through my pro-per trial. I highly recommend him when you need someone with experience.
