Not all lawyers are created equal. That being said, most lawyers I personally encountered only cared about dragging things out and making themselves richer at the expense of the people that they were representing. Mr. Arkady Reifman shines above the rest b/c he truly cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to make sure that not only things are done right, but in a timely manner. He is very available, returns your phone calls promptly and explains everything about the process in clear detail. I would highly recommend Mr. Reifman, not just for divorce matters, but also for any law matter that he practices. Bottom line - he is awesome!

Years after our initial consultation and retainer payment, I encountered a situation that concerned me and could have potentially escalated into a more serious issue. Late on a Friday evening, I left him a voicemail, not expecting a response until the following week. To my surprise, he returned my call that same evening, addressing my concerns promptly and reassuring me that the issue was manageable.
By Monday, as he predicted, the matter was resolved, and my worries proved to be unfounded. While I can’t delve into the details of the legal concern, what stood out was Tom’s expertise in evaluating the situation and his accurate assessment of its likely outcome. His professionalism and swift action gave me immense peace of mind during a stressful time.
Now, one word of caution: as a client, I started receiving some really interesting articles from Tom's practice—on topics spanning all aspects of his practice. Mira has been easy to work with and helped me out with my financial start-up. I needed a contract with the website development company I was working with. I made one on my own but didn't know if it was enough and I was worried about getting sued. She gave me pretty solid advice and made a contract for me that was way better. I didn't realize how much I didn't know!
Everything ended up being fine with the website development company, so I'm glad I don't have to worry about that anymore. I totally recommend Mira for doing contracts.

Richard Miller went out of his way to help me get paid by a Chicago employer who was refusing to pay me. After trying to deal with the illinois department of labor (it takes way to long), I was referred to Miller. He took over all contact with the employer (who was very inappropriate towards me) and was successful in getting me paid the money I owed. He sent a strongly worded letter and talked with him on the phone. Miller obviously has the skills and power that is much needed when working with employment law. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

I had a tax planning issue from stock options from my business. I was referred by my attorney to Mr. Colombik as he said, he is the guy. Well I was a bit skeptical as I was concerned about costs and taxes. Well Mr. Colombik showed me how I could plan my income to reduce my overall taxes and time the income by differing elections available to me. The practice was very busy especially around tax time, but he always got back to me and was very patient explaining complex concepts. I had to wait for him to return from some speaking engagements, but I guess he gets flown all over the country to speak to professional groups and taxation. Very professional and nice staff too!
