My wife and I were in an all-of-a-sudden horrible and complex situation through no fault of our own (which I won’t be getting into here). We exhausted several family and friend recommendations for legal counsel in this area but it seemed that no one could/would help with our case. Then, after seeing the high Google review ratings, we decided to take a chance on MDR who were at least willing to meet with me. About five minutes into the meeting, realizing the complexity of the situation, the guy I was meeting with says, “I think I need to get my boss.” Enter Andy…
Within one hour I walked out with a cohesive plan of action, and (despite MONTHS of research on my own) a hundred times more understanding of the legal circumstances we were in.
Andy ended up taking over our case and delivered like you read about.
I can’t say enough good things about Andy. The dude saved our bacon when we needed it most. It's a pleasure to recommend E. Darby Herrington as a thorough, empathic, and excellent lawyer. My recent experience with her began when I asked her to draft a pre-nuptial agreement between my husband-to-be, a Quebecer, and me, a US citizen. My husband's and my goal was to make it clear to all that my assets were to remain mine, in the event of death or divorce after our marriage, so that no one--especially my three sons--would suspect that this marriage was about my assets. Darby drafted a comprehensive and excellent agreement, which my husband was completely willing to sign. We then learned that pre-nups don't hold much weight given Quebec's division of marital assets laws. So, on Darby's advice, we turned in another direction, and drafted an irrevocable trust, placing the assets I identified into the trust, now held by my sons. This work required several meetings, my sons were present for some of them, and throughout, Darby listened carefully and produced the documents we needed to accomplish our goals. I will, without hesitation, use Darby's services in the future. One additional note: When I had a question about immigration law and in what country my husband and I should marry, Darby--not being well-versed in immigration law--gave me a referral that turned out to be excellent. I mention this because it's evidence of Darby's integrity, I think, that she doesn't pretend to know about things that she doesn't know about. I believe she's your best bet! --Otho Thompson

I utilized Mrs. Earle in defense of an appeal of my unemployment benefits case. I was surprised at how thoroughly and quickly she understood my case. She represented me on the phone hearing with the Administrative Law Judge and the employer. She was very thorough and aggressive with my case and won the hearing hands down. I now collect my unemployment benefits weekly as deserved. I would highly recommend her for any case involving her specialty, Labor and unemployment law.

Ms. Earle was impressive from the first moment we met. She is upfront and forthcoming, and will not give false hope or promises. She understands all aspects of employment and labor law, and has the courtroom experience to back up all the "book smarts". I found her to be very tenacious and aggressive, but never beyond what I was comfortable with. She communicated with me very well during all aspects of the case to ensure that I was happy and comfortable with the decisions we were making. This was a perfect approach. She always kept me informed and worked closely with me, developing a deep mutual trust. This was a very good feeling. The Board of Directors of my Organization gave me the responsibility to handle a contractual dispute with a major hotel chain in Vermont, where we had just held our national convention. Not knowing any Attorneys in Vermont, I relied on the internet. I made several phone calls and sent many e:mails trying to motivate an Attorney to handle to respond to my request. NONE DID!!! Then I reached out to Dennis Wygmans, Esq., who returned my call immediately. I asked to explain my problem without any interruption. At the end of my explanation, he cited several state laws which applied to my situation. He then gave me his professional background and his expertise in contractual law. He contined to explain how he would proceed and what would probably take place. Mr. Wygman outlined his fees and cost of further litigation if we couldn't settle our differences. I knew then that I had the right person for the job. I was so impressed with his professionalism and expertise I asked if he would take the case, which he did. After many conversations and e:mails, Mr. Wygman negotiated a very satisfactory settlement. I would never hesitate to recommend his knowledge, expertise and work ethics.

Austin truly cares about his clients and you are definitely not just another case when Austin is representing you. He always gets back to you to answer all questions either through email or a phone call or both when necessary. He makes sure to pay attention to details and he will see your case through from start to finish. Austin is truly one of the "good guys" a true modern day Perry Mason mold of a lawyer who will genuinely do his best to represent you and he will not just try to push you through the system like a lot of lawyers want to do these days. Working with Andy Montroll was a fabulous experience. From a Real Estate Broker's perspective, sometimes we feel it is frustrating working with Attorneys as they can not be as communicative as we would like. This was not the case with Andy! I have worked with Andy for about two decades, with him supporting our company's needs with respect to our customer contracts across two different business divisions - both of which are subscription based models. Speaking on the phone was professional but, when I went through the retainer they sent me it was nuts. It’s a one sided retainer which puts your money in a escrow account which they won’t draw from, problem is, they also have a clause that gives the firm a raise if they choose, in pay and if you disagree they can take the retainer and there released for what you hired them for in the first place. Beware bad agreements unless you want to shovel the funds over at the firms whim.
I own a company and have been dealing with lawyers for 40 years and I have never seen anything like this in my life time. They have total control once they’re hired be careful.

I had a lawyer through here for a couple years. While he had many clients he definitely came in ready to argue in my favor whenever my file was in rotation. I see a not so hot review on here;Wouldn't take it to heart. People need to understand these lawyers are not at your beck and call. They have many cases and are humans,not service robots. Mr.Kazakis always made sure to keep me updated and showed he's one of the good ones. The office is lovely, Receptionist is always kind. Good find.

Never informed me of anything. Was hard to get a hold of and never told me my license was suspended and almost got arrested again because he failed to let me know fully what was going on. I don't recommend. Won't return your calls for his mistake. Missed several tickets had to come in to tell him that not worth the 3k

Closed my house with them which was subpar - got a call from the real estate manager the night before closing asking where the wire is after I sent it 24 hours prior (ended up fine - it was there). Then I ask for a consultation a month or so later on a different topic & get refused any service. Wouldn't do anything with them again - poor performance all around.

These folks were fantastic until they weren't. They overlooked at close a Homestead Property Tax refund that resulted in thousands of dollars lost. Vermont statutes state these refunds go to the sellers. A simple escrow fund would have taken care of this. It took months to get answers and several flippant remarks along the way. There advice given was simply to sue the new buyers or complete a withdrawal which would have doubled the $ lost. They didn't even provide a link on how to sue if I had chosen that path. (not) They took absolutely zero responsibility for their oversight and didn't so much as offer and apology for their obvious mistake. Sadly , I would give them negative 5 stars based on my experience.

We met Josh initially for a worker comp case for my husband and we couldn't be happier with the result. He was always in contact to let us know what was going on with the case. Since he was attentive in our case we have since decided to use him again for other matters. Josh never made is feel like a dollar sign. Attorneys like Josh are hard to find.

They do not return clients messages. I reached out to this law firm 3 times to speak with someone about my potential suit, they ignored me & didn’t even bother to return any of my messages. It’s fine if you can’t/don’t want to take a clients case but shouldn’t you have enough common courtesy & professionalism to return their messages so they know why?

I don’t know what I would have done without Cindy. It’s a new low to be mentally and physically drained, while also trying to pull evidence and know what my next steps are in a court case, especially never experiencing the judicial system prior. Cindy was this light I just continued following until the case was over, with a result I was content with not to mention. I remember feeling my chest tight, heart racing, but when I looked up in the virtual courtroom, and saw she was there, I felt a wave of calm and knew I would be just fine. I hope to never need her again (respectfully) but if i happen to need an attorney, it will be her.

Cynthia and her team stole my retainer without ever performing a drop of legal work. It's been 8 months and I'm still fighting to get even the "unused" portion of my retainer back. The only legal work her team ever once did was to grossly benefit the opposing party at great financial and emotional cost to myself. Unfortunately after so many months I'm now forced to follow up with the court system against this horrible legal practice. Also worth noting that what she charged thousands and thousands in retainers for was a $140 form anyone can send in and probably should have advised me to do.
