Our case with a giant company was quite unique and most lawyers did not have confidence to take our case. The added problem was because we were Canadians and we need US lawyer who should represent us in our absence in the US. Michael was courageous and undaunted to extend his professional help. The Company who disregarded our consumers' rights, and disrespected the law, was shrunk by the first letter of Michael who represented us. Our legal battle was smooth sailing with the professionalism of Michael and his staff. Michael knows his stuff, and were assured by his experiences and expertise in dealing with real estate legal matters. Our battle ended in just over a month long with positive result. It is a pleasure to write a review on the services MacElree and Harvey provided, specifically Mr. Michael Louis and Mr. Patrick Gallo. While my situation would likely be considered a minor case, for me it was very concerning. After contacting Mr. Louis he immediately assisted with a time sensitive court document and addressed my concerns regarding financial liability. After the initial concern was addressed, Mr. Patrick Gallo worked diligently on negotiating a reasonable settlement and provided me with several options. Both Mr. Gallo and Mr. Louis were always available, provided detailed explanations, were extremely professional, and treated my case with the utmost importance. If you don't mind chasing after people then they might work for you. But they think it's normal to emphasize that they're going to call you right back right now even though they (apparently) have no intention of calling you back that day.
After I followed up at the end of the day with the person who was supposed to call me he said he didn't have my contact info and (apparently) had no idea who I was. So it sounds like he was never informed about me to begin with, so I would have never heard back.
They tried to apologize and tell me I should still talk to them. At first I didn't want to but I decided to give them a second chance just to see how their legal advice sounded. That was two days ago, they just ignored and ghosted me.
That's not the kind of respect most people are looking for from an expensive professional. There are a lot of highly rated lawyers in Philadelphia, you don't need a primadonna.

I retained Mrs. Voit in 2007 for a petition to relocate my children. She did not waste my money and has good relationships with other attorneys. This relationship with opposing cousel, who is known for being obstinate, really paid off. We had a meeting and she calmy laid out a fair offer and walked the opposite side into her offer. I got everything I wanted and made some concessions that didn't hurt.
She kept me reasonable and squished my desire to "win" against my ex, but kept it about the kids.
She is fiesty and very busy. You must stay on top of her is all I would caution.

I hired Alex for my husband drug case. Seemed like a decent guy at first. Talked a good game. 5,000 in his hand from day one! He became the worst attorney. He was very rude and arrogant. yelled at me more than the DA. No motions was put in. We waited 6 months for notes of testimony from the preliminary hearing. Which my husband requested day one of him being hired. Gave him 6500 just for to make it seem like he got the best deal possible when he did no work. Would not recommend for a criminal attorney. He was selling my husband out to the DA the whole time in my opinion. He will take your money!

Alex was able to deliver the best possible outcome in my traffic case. Without going into details, I was facing a minimum of a six month license suspension; we were ultimately able to plea down to charges that did not result in any license suspension.
I couldn’t be any happier with the level of support and ultimate resolution I received relative to the cost of Alex’s services.
Should I require legal services in the future, Alex will be my first stop, and I would gladly recommend him to friends/family.

I tried to retain Marta as my attorney in my divorce. I was unable to as my former husband visited several attorneys in the area so I would not be able to have them represent me.
I was able to retain Marta for what all that was not settled with the divorce including child support.
My former husband was very dishonest through the entire divorce process and child support. Marta was the one who brought years of dishonesty to light! Krebs vs. Krebs, that rewarded me thousands of dollars in arrears money and the maximum I could receive in alimony!
In addition, Karen Schryver’s review below I am in agreement 110%. In sports, I have always stated to my children and asked of my players, that you give 110% effort.

For someone who is from a foreign country and was in a domestic violence marriage living in a shelter for months… It was very important to trust in someone again. A friend who knows my soon to be ex husband and me recommended me Martha . I don’t regret working with her. This has been a very difficult time for me dealing with traumas and healing from my concussion. Martha has always advised me the best. She is very professional and smart. I am embarrassed that she has to deal with my soon to be ex husband because he lacks empathy and is very controlling and can be very scary and rude sometimes. I was scared of him when I saw the type of divorce he filed a fault divorce lying, but Martha is not scared of anyone and has always treated everyone with respect but always fighting for my rights . It’s been about 6 months working with Martha. Her staff is also very professional and caring.

Ken saved my you know what, u got hit by a motorcycle in my Mustang and the officer tried to blame me for it by citing me with careless driving (which is ridiculous as it wasn't my fault) and window tinting (only lightly on my side windows only.) Ken questioned the officer in court and long story short the officer didn't have his story together (as Ken proved) and the judge found me not guilty on both counts! Not to mention he saved me a fortune on lawyer fees, court costs, and fines! Very professional and very knowledgeable, definitely has your best interests (and wallet) at heart! I will call him every time I need legal advice from now on! Hopefully I don't need to though! Gary is a bit condescending that’s the one reason I chose not to use them after the consult on the way home I just kept feeling off- and summed it up with he was a bit judgmental as well.

Alex represented me in a personal injury matter a few years ago and I continue to use his services for my business contracts, estate and other legal matters. I called Vince to see if he could help a friend with a DUI charge. He walked me through looking up the charges at the county website and seemed knowledgeable about recent changes to legal precedence, since my friend was just sitting in his car, not driving.
We were having a nice interaction and I was thinking I had found the right lawyer, until Vince said he wanted $3,000 just to show up for the preliminary hearing. I had already mentioned that my friend was broke and would need time to work and save for legal fees. When I began to explain that I had already talked to another lawyer that only wanted $750 for the preliminary hearing, Vince interupted me, shouted some rude come back and hung up.
I was willig to work with him if he had just given me a minute to explain the situation, but alas no. That was not meant to be. That left me with even more confirmation of the reason why I find lawyers to be the rude, arrogant, and self-serving. In those departments, Vince did not disappoint. He does sound like a competent lawyer and may be able to help you. But ultimately, they're almost all just in it for the money.
Between the corrupt cops making up charges to justify their fat salaries, the immoral DAs who care nothing about the innocence of the wrongfully charged, and the judges who get paid big money for oh so little work while coddling the prosecution of the innocent, and the defense lawyers who are there to get their pound of flesh, the American judicial system is morally bankrupt.
Hopefully, Divine Justice will prevail in the end, and all these low-life, heartless, perpetrators of this huge scam will experience the pain and suffering they cause by particpating in a corrupt system they are all to happy to benefit from.
