When I torn about what to do with my credit card debt I googled for a bankruptcy attorney and came across Neil Ackerman's name. I guess Google liked me that day because I hit the jackpot. Mr. Ackerman's firm took the time to explain to me all options and did not force me into anyone. They were with me every step of the way and even after my bankruptcy was discharged.

I was facing 5 tickets which all contained points and high fee penalties. I contacted Mr.Ricca and from there he made it super easy, affordable and kept me updated on my case. Ultimately he got 4 of my charges dismissed and 1 lowered to a minor infraction that would have no impact on my record. Amazing work and definitely recommend!

I was the executor of my father's very complex estate: FL and NY estates, multiple properties to sell, etc. Donna ALWAYS replied swiftly to my phone calls, letters or emails. Every problem or complication was dealt with thoroughly, efficiently and I was kept apprised of every detail. Nobody ever wants to NEED an attorney, but when you do, you will never do better than to have Donna in your corner!

I cannot ever recommend this lawyer. She really hurt my case by not providing all the facts to me, while also misrepresenting matters, and making unilateral decisions on her own. She did not know how to correctly file even a basic pendente lite with proper supporting documents. Also when the Judge gave any orders, she would incorrectly interpret them. It is difficult to believe that was possible considering her many years of experience. Unfortunately, she also maintained a very hostile and acrimonious relationship with opposing counsel, and did not provide me all and especially crucial letters and paperwork from them. She was very expensive and billed for many hours of work that she could not possibly have put in. She was a very glib and smooth talker, and as she called herself a collaborative lawyer, I was mistaken into thinking she would try to settle the case. I was wrong, the case actually dragged on as she created many problems as a result of her failing to keep track of required legal technicalities in a timely manner. She set a very bad and poor tone for my case from outset, so later on the other attorney I was forced to hire had a very difficult time trying to get things back on track. She consumed huge amounts of money while getting a very poor outcome for my children. The Judge can only make decisions based on what is presented to him. She appeared to be intimidated while speaking to Judge or the Law secretary in chambers, so did not state facts. Also damaging was that she did not convey to me clearly or actually misrepresented what was said or advised by the Judge. I doubt this is an ethical way of practicing law. If required I can provide actual and specific instances. I do not have words strong enough to warn you to stay away from this attorney, unless you want a mess on your hands. I am writing this to try and make sure others do not suffer consequences similar to mine.

This guy has no experience I don't know now but back in 2010 he has worsened my condition...he withdrew my I 485 then he followed me to Boston at my interview where I was picked up by ICE...I got my I 120 approved on the second attempt with a different lawyer but no more pending I 485 thanks to him...I have to redo the whole thing which is now complicating my motion to reopen, I'm not a lawyer but I don't think this made any sense..the officer at the interview asked him why he withdrew it and mr couldn't give an answer...my point is I like honest people honest lawyers that will tell you that they can't handle your case instead of taking your money and not knowing what they doing ...I wouldn't sent even my enemy to him, that's how bad he is to me....he took $1000 to withdraw my application then I pay for his trip to Boston thinking I have a strong back up just for me to get arrested...He didn't want me to go to the interview but I insisted to go. What good lawyer will tell you not to go to the interview cuz u might be picked up instead of helping you to go and not get pick up??? I approached another lawyer later on who seriously told this " listen at time law is also whom you know and where, so I suggest you get a lawyer in Boston where your case is" see I did not know that this matters at times but he was honest to me...
Stay away from babalola if u have a case that needs expertise because I believe he got 0 experience.
