Recommendation for James P. Rome Law
James P. Rome Law, (Jim), recently represented us in real estate transactions over the past few months. We have known Jim for many years and he had previously represented us in 1988 in selling and purchasing houses. Over the years, Jim has helped us sell both of our parents’ houses when needed. Jim has always done an outstanding and professional job in these real estate transactions. In 2017 it was no different. In February, we sold our home very quickly and purchased our present home four days later. We were under a time crunch because of a closing date of March 31. Despite this truncated time frame, Jim made sure everything went smoothly. During the whole process, he communicated with us on almost a daily basis. When the opportunity became available to close a day early on both properties, Jim was able to coordinate the closing date with the other attorneys, which made our move go very well. He created a win/win situation for both our buyer and the seller of our new home. Because of his efforts in communicating with all involved parties, the whole process of relocating to our new home was less stressful.
At the same time of our main residence being sold, we were also selling a condominium that we had purchased several years before. Jim represented us in this sale that took place on April 16, 2017. His coordination of all of the legal paperwork involved kept everything on track.
In May, 2017 we purchased new RV Trailer. Almost immediately, we began to have
discover many problems with the trailer. Unknown to us at the time of our purchase, the manufacturer was going through a change of ownership. The issues we faced were not being addressed by anyone. This ordeal lasted into the middle of 2018. I contacted Jim and he gave me very sound advice how we should proceed. Fortunately, after following Jim’s counsel, the trailer was properly repaired. We did not want to go through a long legal battle in court. Though Jim’s advice we wrote letters, emails and recorded phone conversations to document the process. The trailer was finally repaired. We were able to take the trailer on a nice trip with no mechanical problems. Without Jim’s sound guidance, I am not sure how this would have been resolved.
Jim Rome receives my highest recommendation for anyone who is looking for an expert real estate attorney or sound legal counsel. Jim’s communication skills, ability to coordinate closings and attention to detail are excellent. Jim will make sure the process goes smoothly and the transaction is successfully completed.

I consulted with Mr. Russell as a possible new client. I do not recommend him. I would describe him as a false hope and taking up clients valuable time.
Don't commit to replying to someone for days on end then ignoring them completely wasting their time.
After you give them what I call false hope of taking their case.
I will look in other places to also post my review.

I contacted Attorney Kofoed to review matters relating to my criminal case. Although the case was not one of his areas of expertise, he was extremely nice and thorough in reviewing all major aspects of my case. We have rented from Jeffrey Strange for 3 years and never had a problem. As a matter of fact because we were good renters and he knew we had some business issues he did not raise our rent when everyone we know had big increases. The building is well kept whenever we need something he and Joe get it handled almost immediately. They have never been rude to us, just the opposite a great landlord. No slipping on the snow, etc. The best landlord we have ever rented from. I highly recommend renting from them and you will be very satisfied and feel safe.

I was shown three apartments that Jeffrey owns by a nice man named Joe. He showed me three apartments for the same solid price of $825. I was told to make the deposit of $850 today and G9 will be mine until I'm ready to move in by June 1st. When trying to go to Jeffrey's office to make a deposit to hold the apartment i wanted i was told three different prices for all three apartments shown. In conclusion none of the apartments were $825. Not even the small studio (which reeked like smoke because the two neighbors smoke in that building.) But he was GENEROUS enough to take off the $25 off one of the apartments still making it $125 more than what i was told. When finally getting a hold of Jeffrey instead of speaking through his nice receptionist i was rudely spoken to when i confronted him with his mistakes. He blamed me. Denied the mishap. As well as hung up on me.
Now thats what i call welcoming and top of the line customer service. That is exactly how to make a sale. Thank you for saving me from the mistake i was about to make by moving into this building and having to deal with a despicable human being like you.
