Lewis & Feldman, LLC, is incredible! Mr. Jon Lewis, took my case, and treated me like I was his only client and as though my case was personal to him. I truly felt cared for. Two other attorneys rejected my case... they said it wouldn't be worth the time and trouble. But Mr. Lewis, never gave up on me!
I was never inconvenienced to come in to the office over and over again. He handled so many of my questions and problems through email, and not once acted like I was too much for him. He answered emails and questions very quickly, even at night and on weekends! He made certain that all of my questions were answered, and that the answers were understandable and clear.
He also went to great lengths to explain the system, and what to expect next. He handled all of the communication between me and the other party, so I never had to feel intimidated or worried about them.
My case ended in a way that was very satisfactory to me and left me feeling like I mattered and that my issue was of great importance.
I will recommend Mr. Lewis, and Lewis and Feldman LLC, to anyone I know that is looking for an attorney!! He is the best, hands down!

Danny Feldman helped me navigate and avoid some early pitfalls dealing with two insurance companies regarding Underinsured Motorist (UIM) and Bodily Injury (BI) insurance. I suffered a pretty tragic injury, and with less than a clear head, I was trying to deal with these companies. My own insurance company lied to me about how UIM works and the amount of money available.
Danny took the time and communicated with me about the process and came to a better than expected settlement between the two automotive insurance companies and my personal health insurance - who had footed the bill for my care.
I highly recommend this firm if you find yourself in need of representation. For my case, I had nothing out of pocket.

Lack of communication also when one thing is said something totally different from what was said will be done if anything is done at all. Just get everything in writing or email when having these attorneys represent you. It was said to me that the attorneys fees would be reduced that did not happen at all. It was said to me so I would settle.

Zero communication. It's been over a year since my accident, and I have been switched to 3 different lawyers. Each one talked to me for about 2 minutes, and I never heard from them again. The injury case for my wife and I has just reached the two year mark. All we have asked for is communication. We fully understand these things can take years.
Our first attorney was not one to communicate. We had to email or call for updates. We requested a new attorney, and after multiple requests, they finally agreed.
With our new attorney, we again asked for communication. Call us every 30 days or so, even if it is to say there is no change. Unfortunately, we were put on a one-way street with this attorney as well.
On 10/14/24, we sent an email since the two year mark for a lawsuit had to be filled on or before 10/21/24. On 10/16/24, we received an email from our attorneys assistant with the complaint filing to review before they submitted it. In our view, this seemed to be cutting it pretty close. What if we had not checked in and sent the reminder on 10/14/24 about the filing date?
As a side note, I have been unable to work now due to the spinal injuries sustained in the accident. I emailed our attorney about assistance with filing for SSDI, and again, there was no answer. Called their 800 number and advised that we had an open injury case but needed help with SSDI. They turned us down as I am not 49 years old or older. Currently, I am 48 and turn 49 in March 2025, 5 months away.
This long, drawn-out review comes down to one word, communication, and the lack of it.

Joe helped with the probate that my mother was named as personal representative. The process was fairly long and complicated and he was helpful and patient with us throughout. He also fought for her a couple of times when things got a little tough, once to get access to the safe deposit box where thewill was located. Every question we had was answered satisfactorily. If you have stumbled upon this review because you have received that letter from the Alabama Board of Nursing go ahead and stop here and submit your name and number for a consultation. If you have ever been exhausted and frustrated feeling like being a nurse could be a thankless existence, I’m sure it’s no comparison to the weight of receiving that letter. This was how I felt. I wanted to walk. I didn’t care to fight because I had already been defeated. I found Mr. Kreps on YouTube in the middle of the night while I was hopelessly scrolling for outcomes and judgements when nurses face the Board. It gets dark reading those stories. His story wasn’t. You learn his mother went back to school later in life to become a nurse and he has seen what we do for that license.
Peggy called me a few hours later when they opened and immediately took action. I got step by step instructions and a general idea of what to expect. If I had questions or calls from the board, Peggy immediately responded and guided me on what to do. I don’t intend for this to sound gimmicky but if you think you can’t afford representation you can’t afford NOT to. You may think that the what you can offer them on a payment plan is laughable but I promise you that you’ll be surprised. We have all heard the horror stories and I was filled with debilitating dread knowing that the allegations on this grand scale was unlike any fight I’ve ever had to face. When it involves DEA and accusations of fraud you tend to replay this nightmare and your uncertain future over and over in your head. I got the call today that Mr. Kreps reached full settlement with the board and I do not have to appear or carry this another day of my life. STOP googling. STOP looking for statistics. STOP considering bargaining with the investigators that are calling. Get on the phone and under the guidance of this law office. They’re making such a difference in the nursing world.

Mr. Sears cared about my child’s need. Deafness with a child using listening and spoken language is a low-incidence disability that school systems are often unfamiliar with. He was willing to learn about the needs specific to my child and backed our family to ensure my child’s needs were met. Shane was able to reach a solution with our school system which provided my daughter with the necessary supports, including a listening and spoken language specialist, in her school. He knows special ed law and guided me through each step. I’m a well-versed parent who works in special education, as well, but Shane accomplished what I, our advocate, and numerous professionals couldn’t in making the school system realize the unique needs in LSL communication. I called to speak with someone in regards to my tenant-landlord situation. The intake lady, listened and then said…well I’m gonna tell you upfront it’s $300-$400/hr to speak with an attorney. Okay? And? Did I inquire about the price? Obviously I wasn’t looking for pro-bono work or I wouldn’t have called THIS law firm. Jarred Welborn has got the FIGHT. In a State (like Alabama) where I thought there was no possible way for a man to gain custody of his son, Welborn made it happen! He asked all of the right questions, collected every bit of information possible, put pressure on the opposition when needed, felt my "pain", listened to what I had to say and won the case.
