Neal has helped me on several different occasions with a small business dispute I was involved in. I called Neal after recommendation from a Family friend regarding my particular situation. I have seen Neal Howard in a handful of capacities. I have observed him in my role as a trial judge, as co-counsel and as a mediator. Neal Howard offers superior legal service. "Caution" in this review is unwarranted in that he knows what he's doing, can try a strong case and genuinely cares for his clients, colleagues and the bench. I would trust him with any personal injury, medical malpractice, trucking, premises or wrongful death/catastrophic injury case. Neal is a fine lawyer and a good man.

I was recently in the process of buying my first home. A few years ago I had done a credit consolidation and realized that could significantly hamper my credit score and thus my ability to purchase a home. I reached out to Mr. Morrison and he returned my call that same day. We met in person and he immediately advised me what credit agencies to contact, what to ask, and what information and forms I needed to have completed for my mortgage company. After speaking with the credit agencies, I again met with Mr. Morrison. He provided accurate and knowledgable advice on completing the forms and ensured I had done everything correctly to better my chances with the mortgage company. Without the help of Mr. Morrison, I feel I may still be renting an apartment and not enjoying the wonderful home my fiance and I now live in. Mr. Morrison (or Buddy as I now call him) was delightful, responsive, professional, timely, and unbelievably helpful! I have no doubt I would not own my home now without the help of Buddy and am also glad he accepted and attended the house warming party!

Upon receiving an emergency, late-night call on a Sunday from a man in central Alabama for legal assistance on a potential medical malpractice or nursing home negligence case, I called this top-rated firm on Monday morning. Joseph and the Butler Wooten Peak team reviewed the deceased woman's medical history, recent surgeries and treatment, and existing health challenges to see if a viable civil case should be initiated.
Since the death had occurred on Friday, and her body was being held for a possible autopsy, their quick, professional handling of the inquiry was important. A small law firm like mine could not have brought this pool of talented experts together so quickly.
Cases of this nature require the top-rated law firms. By Tuesday, and action plan on the case was in place, which gave the woman's family great comfort.

TERRIBLE LAWYER!!!!! I paid this lady 3000$ almost 1 1/2 yr ago, never answers the phone, or returns my calls and a very inconsiderate person. Last time I spoke with her she called at 5 in the afternoon telling me we had emergency court the next day....but that didn't happen either....also while speaking with her during this same day she said " I'm going to mail you a packet to fill out"..... guess what never got the package.....I went to this lady to get joint custody of my kids. Never thought she was the type to take advantage of you but fooled me...Once she gets your money you won't hear from her again...What crazy is I'm learning that other attorneys in Columbus say the same thing about her, that she's a terrible attorney ....SO I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE SEEKING HELP FROM HER " DONT" .....JUST READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, THEY PRETTY MUCH SAY TJE SAME THING SAYING....ALSO HER LICENSE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED IN GA ....HMMM...I WONDER WHY!!!!!

Hired her for a custody case I 2019. She hardly ever answered emails or phone calls. Sent me a bill saying she worked 11 hours in one day on my case which used almost my entire retainer. They sent me a bill asking for more money and when asked about the 11 hours in one day when we didn’t even have court she corrected it told me I owed more and never actually sent me a correct statement on what she actually used the retainer for. When confronted she told me I needed to hire a new attorney. She’s currently suspended from the bar for not responding to them this is her second suspension for not responding to bar. Please do your self a favor and hire someone else from the start.

On March 6, 2018 I consulted with Attorney Katonga Wright to appeal a judgment. I spent about an hour providing complete and factual details in reference to my case. It is complex so I wanted to give her all of the information which was a large file that she copied. Ms. Wright asked many questions and took notes as I spoke. She offered sympathy at the fact that I had gone through all of this when I had not done anything wrong. She stated that I was not properly served and the amount the defendant took me back to court for was incorrect. She said that if one thing was wrong with the judgment that I was not present for, it rendered everything wrong and was a cause for an appeal. She explained that she used to work in Magistrate court and was confident that this could be resolved in my favor.
On March 12, 2018 I emailed Ms. Wright confirming the services that she would provide for me. On March 13, 2018 she said she would review what was necessary and be in contact with me.
On April 20, 2018 I asked for a full refund because she held my case beyond the 30-day appeal period. Had she informed me in a timely manner I could have sought legal counsel with another attorney. As of today I have contacted three other attorneys but have been unsuccessful in getting anyone to take my case.
I am devastated that she held my case for so long before letting me know that she was not going to represent me. She knew I was declined for a home loan because this judgment is on my record. To date I have not been able to purchase a home. This has been a nightmare and instead of helping resolve the issue she made things worse when I did not think it was possible.
Only after filing a grievance with the Georgia State Bar did I find out that she charged $500 for finding out information I gave her at our initial consultation. Her lack of response to my several (phone and email) attempts to communicate with her cost me money and time.
