Kindness goes a long way. Mr. Hilts did not represent me. He did, however, provide a consultation. I was very impressed with the prompt call back. Although he couldn’t take my particular case, he was able to refer me elsewhere. He was very personable, courteous, and respectful throughout my interaction with him. His manner was kind and considerate, and not in the least rushed or hurried. If I did retain a personal injury counsel, it would be Mr. Hilts. I had a car accident in 2015 that left me injured. I had no lawyer and no reference, so I simply search "attorney" and my zipcode on a search engine and found Ryan. I called him and several other attorneys. He answered my call right away, talked with me for a while and we set up an appointment to meet. I really enjoyed meeting him from the start and hired him the first day. He fought hard for me, never accepting the minimum ... always working for what was truly fair for me and not stopping until I told him I was truly satisfied. I never felt pressured with Ryan. He answered all my emails and calls right away and handled all the questions from the insurance companies so that I could focus on my healing. At 8 months pregnant the car I was driving got t-boned and totaled by a vehicle that ran a stop sign. I had a horrible time dealing with the insurance company and it's representatives especially considering my pregnancy the physical state I was in resulting from the accident. I am the sort of person that would not seek legal counsel under normal circumstances, but I am so glad I did in this case!

I was injured in a slip and fall case back in 2014. When the insurance company would not quit harassing me, I decided I needed an attorney. I live in Seattle, so I started there. I called every attorney that was also licensed in Oregon (the accident happened in Oregon). I must have spoken to at least 15 attorneys who laughed me off because it was a slip and fall. They didn't want to hear about it, even when I knew they didn't have to prove liability, just damages.
Some attorney in Oregon referred me to Jose. He listened to me, heard me tell him how liability was already clear and that damages was the only issue that needed to be resolved. Because of this, I got a settlement that was more than any slip and fall that I had ever seen. In fact, I have never seen a slip and fall win. Jose was excellent in handling my auto accident case.
