Doug came highly recommended for workmen's comp cases by other lawyers in the Portland area. His office was quick to get me in for an initial meeting, and was always prompt and responsive as we continued to work together. My family and I have been completely blown away by how well he has advocated for me. His office helped me with everything from getting mileage reimbursement to securing me a higher, and more accurate, rate of pay. Doug Kaplan agreed to represent me in a Worker's Compensation case. After our first meeting my wife and I felt that we had consulted the right attorney and firm. Doug kept me fully informed of conversations between my employer, their insurance company. He informed me of my rights as the injured party and what and how to save any and all documents related to the injury claim.
Mr. Kaplan kept me fully informed of all e-mails between between himself, the attorney for the insurance company and all matters related to the case.
Mr. Kaplan's staff, Traci and Jodi were excellent when answering questions, or solving procedures or issues with the case.
Mr. Kaplan and his staff were and are what we needed to guide us through this stressful and confusing time.
I will miss the e-mails from Doug, Traci, and Jody. It made me feel relieved and comfortable that they were working with and for us.

We worked with Chrissy and Robin after my son was in a debilitating motorcycle accident caused by a young driver. We cannot recommend them highly enough. They are extremely knowledgeable, so personable and were able to provide my son with a very good settlement. They are accessible, answering all sorts of questions, and bolstered us up many times when we were feeling low and overwhelmed. We feel blessed to have found them. Funnily enough one of the maintenance folk at the hospital told us about Mann Law when I was discussing finding a lawyer with my son. It was one of the best tips I have ever received. If you’d like an ego boost or if you’re insecure about applying for law school, simply hire Bo. You’ll learn that literally anyone could be a lawyer. You don’t have to come to meetings understanding how to send a billing email or prepare at all by simply reading an 8 page contract. You could answer questions with “I don’t see why not”. Very decisive. Totally reassuring. All while charging an absolutely obscene rate for work you could 100% do yourself.

5 out of 5. I’ve retained Attorney Brunelle in several cases, some still in litigation. I have to say he is proficient with practicing law but also he is a respectful and understanding human being. I found Rachel via some amazing recommendations and reviews. She represented my mother and I on separate cases. She was absolutely amazing during my entire process; extremely dedicated, kind, understanding and really achieved great results! I was also the interpreter during most of my mother’s meetings with Rachel. Having English as ones second language is incredibly difficult and scary when dealing with legal matters. Legal terminology is difficult and intimidating for even native English speakers, let alone for someone who speaks English as a second language. Rachel was incredibly patient and did everything she could to communicate with my mum, and to get her the desired results. She is someone who will get back to you promptly and speak to you as a friend. She will spend hours preparing you for everything with a smile and assure you that everything will be just fine. I travel a lot for work, so sometimes mum had to meet without me, which caused me a lot of worry because I wasn’t sure how much mum would understand and mainly how afraid she would be. My mum would call me after and rave about Rachel. How smart, kind, and dedicated she was. How she was going above and beyond. You won’t ever feel like just a client in her hands. She will treat you and your case as if it were her own family. And I truly mean that. That is very rare to find, especially in the legal field. She’s incredibly smart and driven. It’s very admirable and impressive. I have since recommended Rachel to friends and my best friends mother also couldn’t be happier and more confident with Rachel on her side. I can not recommend Rachel enough. Simply an amazing young woman and attorney doing amazing things for Mainers.
