I feel extremely lucky to have found Keith Marcus after my dog and I were attacked by a huge Dogo Argentino with no owner in sight. Against the odds, and counter to what I was told by all the other lawyers I spoke with beforehand, he was able to obtain compensation for my dog's injuries and his life-saving treatments, which ended up costing thousands of dollars. This is remarkable in a state such as Virginia, which has very lenient laws regarding owners of dogs who attack other dogs. My dog and I will be forever grateful to this man.

After an injury and being pressured and pushed around by the insurance company I was introduced to mr reid by a friend. Immediately my stress levels dropped. Brody took charge and did everything he said he was going to when he said he was going to.
No one wants to suffer with an injury and ill live with mine my entire life but I wouldn't have the comfort and medical carafe if it were not for Brody and his team. The level of communication was great and even with mutually busy schedules he always finds/ found time to text or call whenever I had a question. I don't feel like just another folder in the pile here, its much more personal and hands on.

Mr. Phalen was an excellent attorney for my product defect/product warranty suit. Other attorneys turned my case away due to the difficulties and complexity involved. Knowing nothing about the product involved, Mr. Phalen and his associates tackled my suit with an assertive attitude. I am a client of Ms. Quinn and paralegal Peg, and she won my case in settlement. I met Colleen from a referral of a referral. I was facing a hostile work environment because of my sexual orientation (I'm a gay pastor/Chaplain) at the Veteran Affairs Hospital. I filed a EEOC against the Veteran Affairs and won with Colleen leading the fight. She was costly for me, but was worth the risk. I say that not only in hindsight after winning the settlement, but I say this because I watched her advocate for me, with me, and I felt was with me throughout all of it. In my David and Goliath battle against the Federal Governement, Colleen and Peg picked up our little stones of my story and just like the story reveals, we won. I felt confident in her ability to help me navigate this. She also listened, like really listened, to the things that were impacting me and how they were impacting me. I was charged with DUI. I contacted Riley & Wells and was assigned to a very intelligent and competent attorney, Joseph Dean II. Throughout the process I felt that I had an individual who cared about the process - defending his client along with abiding by the law. He researched cases that pertained to my case and worked through lab results that were suspect, all helping my NOT GUILTY decision. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Dean as an attorney in any circumstance and would be glad to have him (hopefully it won't come to that) in my defense should the necessity arise.

Mr Dean was straightforward and honest with me from the first time we spoke on the phone. He showed up to court prepared and provided a fierce defense. The judge continued my case for three weeks due to a lack of precedent (there weren't any cases similar to mine in case law). Three weeks later, Mr Dean returned to the court room on my behalf. His line of reasoning was impeccable and the judge rendered a not guilty verdict. Do not be fooled by Mr Dean's youthful appearance. He is a passionate attorney who is committed to providing a thorough defense.

I just spoke to the office regarding my past case which ended almost a year ago, I am upgrading my review and I appreciate the time the manager spent talking with me recently. I have to give Jordan five stars, she was assigned to my case near the end. Mr. McDonald upheld his part of his bargain, that I would not have to pay out of pocket. He did negotiate in good faith with me for the fiscal conclusion of my case. In all of this, I appreciate that.
No money in the world can compensate me for the continuing pain, mental anguish, time and costs that I incurred due to someone else's negligence, nor the way my insurance company of 30 years treated me.
I am most unhappy with my past Allstate insurance company um/uim carrier hiring a very seasoned lawyer to fight against me by representing the person who injured me. I did not understand the law regarding um insurance. I am no longer giving them my premiums that they collected for over thirty years.
The Virginia law in reference to contributory negligence is another major obstacle that affected my case, which should be changed. It only benefits the insurance industry. I am from Florida, so I was unaware of some of these rules.

They never really gathered any important details and just said they’re unable to take the case without a reason as why they couldn’t. I called back to give them the rest of the information and was joined by rudeness. All of sudden, I get a call back from Maranda, finally. She immediately spoke rudely and with an attitude. Never could tell me the dates they called/left a message or confirmed the number; not even confirming the email provided. Never even emailed me! Instead Maranda kept asking for documents about case. Leaving me to reiterate that I do not want to be represented by them anymore. Instead of going back and forth and being rude, they should’ve been empathetic, professional, and polite. At end of call, I requested to have documents emailed to me regarding that I no longer want them representing me, as well as insurance communication denying me after months of saying I’m not at fault. (I hired firm after I was told their driver was at fault and was waiting for compensation.) This is bad business!

I cannot thank Chris Pitera enough for all that he did to honor my mom. He was patient, kind, and steadfast in his pursuit to hold a business accountable for their lack of communication, empathy and actions that lead to my mom’s death. The suffering that she endured the final days of her life due to their negligence continues to haunt me. I would not at all recommend this law group for a worker's compensation case. First of all, when you go in to sign your paperwork have a lawyer with you to make sure that you understand all of the fine print (such as if you go to trial your lawyer no longer is allotted 20%...the court awards them as much as they want which was in my case almost 50% of my award). There were multiple issues with patching together work notes that my lawyer did not catch and because of that I got a few thousand less than what I should have. This law office did NOT do my case justice in any way.

I’m the kind of guy who likes regular updates even if the updates are “nothing new this week”. Having hired another attorney that never returned my calls I decided to go with someone else and so I chose Mr. Goodwin after someone recommended his firm to me.
