I called Ms. Ekaterina Berman to consult with a case, and she provided excellent consultation even she didn't have time to take my case.
She listens really well. She gets my point immediately, and gets to her point clearly. The communication was very professional and easy.
She offered her professional take on the case and on my concerns, even I haven't hired her. She does not just care about money. She said, to save the time and money, what is the good way to proceed instead of forcing me a case to open and hire her.
Although I didn't end up with working with her on my case, I feel only someone who is good at what he/she is doing can do practice and work in the way Ms. Ekaterina Berman does. So I feel this is outstanding from others in the business, and it should be made aware to anyone who seeks for help and service.

I spoke with Attorney Kopelson (Robert) last week concerning a traffic accident (rear-end collision).
I respectfully disagree with the very few negative Yelp reviews of Robert. I think the review gives an unfair, one-sided depiction of Robert's personality.

Mr. Robert answered a question I had on Avvo and even though he could not take our legal malpractice case against an attorney that handled over settlement funds to A third party without the consent of the attorneys client we appreciate him calling us in answering and talking and giving advice on what to do for over an hour on the telephone. I was injured in a bike accident. The driver was sitting in his car and opened his car door on me as I rode by. Ended up at the ER with 6 internal and 6 external stitches in my neck, an inch away from my carotid artery, a sore wrist which a MRI revealed to be a slight tendon tear and abrasions on my knee and hand, plus a sore shoulder. The driver's GEICO insurance tried to refute my claim saying I was 50% at fault for not looking to see if a driver was in the car. The police report said he was in violation since I had the right of way. I initially contacted a larger law firm I saw advertised on TV. They referred me to Braid.
Braid was great. He told me these things might take a while, but to be patient. GEICO initially offered to only pay my medical expenses, then a little later expenses plus $7K. Braid advised me to wait because he was sure he could negotiate more.
Eventually he negotiated a significant settlement, much more than I ever expected. The whole process took 7 months. I highly recommend him.

When you need a really good lawyer in a tough and complex traffic accident situation then I highly recommend Law Offices of Braid Pezzaglia.
Before I chose Braid's office, I had done extensive research about legal firms specializing in motorcycle accidents in the San Jose and SF Bay Area locations. I shortlisted a handful of them and talked to them before I made my final decision. I am glad I chose the Law Offices of Braid Pezzaglia.
Braid is a very sharp, extremely knowledgeable legal professional, can assess tough situations quickly, can call lies in an instant, has kept me sane and the other parties involved accountable. I was hit by a drunk driver at a standstill at 30 mph and suffered neck injuries as well as aggravation to a pre-existing vertigo condition. I was nervous that with a potential pre-existing condition no one would take my case, but I retained Habbas & Associates and have been very satisfied with their work on my case. I am an attorney myself so can recognize when someone is only putting in partial effort, but here they never make me feel like just another client, even given that my case is no 7 figure case. My questions are always answered and my phone calls are always promptly returned. I would recommend this firm to anyone who fell under similar misfortune and needs a personal injury attorney.

I had seen billboards advertising Mr Habbas' services and never thought too much about it. One day, an illegal alien who was unlicensed, ran a red light and T-boned my car. Fortunately, the car itself was insured (albeit low cost insurance). Habeas immediately made sure that my injuries were addressed with MRI and X-Rays. In addition, they scheduled me at physical therapy to get me back to normal as quickly as possible. After all was said and done, I recovered fully and the medical bills as well as the car repairs were completely taken care of by his office, working with the other guys. The best part was I did not expect to receive any additional monies since the insurance was a minimal coverage policy. But I did receive a small check, which I was happy to receive. I've heard horror stories of other accident attorneys not returning calls and being difficult to get in contact with. Never with Habbas. Whether it was an e-mail, or phone call, they responded usually within 1-2 days with clear, answers to my questions. Thank you Omar for the great work.

My situation was the collection firm tried to collect more than 20000 dollar from me. They took me to court tried to get me pay them. They mistaken me with someone else. I hired a lawyer to appear with me in court. he charged me 750 dollar for two hours in court. He charged me but he did not appear in court when the time come. I was referred to Jacklyn Bentley from the Bar Association. I was injured in a car accident. The defendant was 100% at fault. My car was totaled and my T11 injured. Geico refused to believe I was hurt. My first attorney filed the law suite because Geico would not settle. Unfortunately, he got ill and had to drop off. The second attorney had a heart attack and had to drop off on advice of his doctor. I spent two years trying to find an attorney while Geico beat me up. I contacted many attorneys. They all turned me down, as two attorneys had already been on the case. I went to the bar association for help. They sent me four attorneys to contact for a free consultation. Jacklyn was one of the attorneys. The case was complex. She was honest that her case load was such that she could not take the case but gave me several names to contact and encouraged me not to give up. She was extremely helpful and responsive to all of my questions. All the other referrals said no and left it at that. However,Jacklyn provided a lot of information about the legal process and gave me names of attorneys to try. She then went one step further and reached out to see how I was doing.
