I'm not sure if you would rather this review be business based or on Google. But as a whole I am confused a bit with what my role is and how everything works. The contact is scarce. And before I transfered phone companies it was rarely any contact with the lawyers. The case got transfered a few times and I was still left not understanding what was going on. I feel after they reached out via email and I got a new case manager. Her communication was way better. I can honestly say I've had no more than 5-6 calls and or updates in a years span. I want to be in the know. So that way I could understand more about the case answer what to expect.

I contacted Michael Franco after I had a chapter 13 case dismissed due to not being able to keep up with the payment plan. I explained to the previous lawyer at the time of my situation and how complex it was. I informed the lawyer that I would not be able to keep up with the payment that they felt was suitable because of my average gross they calculated at the time. I explained that my salary would fluctuate in upcoming months. The lawyer explained to me that there was no other option other than a chapter 13 because of my base salary being over California’s median income, not taking all my expenses and deductions into consideration and chapter 7 would not be an option.
After my case was dismissed , I found Michael Franco and gave him a call and spoke to him personally. I explained to Michael how complicated my situation was and my previous experience with the other lawyer, hoping there would be another option. After speaking to Michael and submitting a few documents, Michael was confident he would be able to help me and I would be able to file a chapter 7. We immediately went over all my expenses and deductions. From the beginning Michael made the process easy and understanding. Michael definitely takes pride in his work and truly wants to help people who are struggling financially. I’m beyond grateful I found Michael and put all my trust in him because he delivered. First , after going through this workers comp ordeal I would not encourage anyone to try and navigate through that without a Attorney !!! Silberman and Lam got for me exactly what they told me they would ! I really appreciate the service they provided. I would encourage anyone to retain Silberman and Lam if you have a Workers Comp case and allow them to do their work and be patient and sleep well cause its going to be worth it in the end !

I was involved in a serious motor vehicle collision in 2022 and I had initially hired one of those "billboard injury lawyers". Thankfully a family friend / personal chiropractor referred me to Mr. Rolnicki and I was able to get my case switched. From the beginning, he took control of my case and handled everything. I got rear ended as I was sitting at a red light by someone who fell asleep behind the wheel. It was my first accident and I was pretty rattled. I have been a long time permanent resident for 30 years. In my early 20's I got mixed up in drugs and picked up some very serious drug convictions. My green card was expiring last year so I decided to submit my application for naturalization. I went to my interview and was detained and a deportation order was issued against me. I was detained for 30 days. Meanwhile my family called attorneys and many turned us away with no hope on relief in my situation. Fabian was one of the only attorneys that saw hope in my situation. My family hired him and he showed up in immigration court and I was released on bail. 8 months later I had my first court appearance where Serrato law was able to get my deportation case terminated based on a decision from the 9th district court only 2 weeks before my court date. The government agreed and my citizenship app was approved. I couldn't be more happy with these guys. Highly recommend. These guys know there stuff. Thanks guys!!!

Let me preface this by saying that this is the first time that I had ever needed an attorney so I have nothing to compare it to so therefore the 4 star rating. This should in no means reflect Mr. Hughes's knowledge, skills, or talents in any way.
My dealings with Mr. Hughes went very well.
He was very understanding of my situation and helped me through a very difficult time in my life after the fall out from my car accident.
Would I hire Mr. Hughes again? In a heartbeat.
The only suggestion I would offer to anyone who is getting ready to litigate is to keep accurate documents and files. Because I did this this, we both received a better outcome.

After being involved in a minor motor vehicle accident (I was rear ended on the highway), a friend referred me to Mr. Hughes. At the time, I wasn't interested in contacting an attorney as I didn't feel my injuries were significant. However, after a few days, it became evident that my injuries were more serious than I had originally thought. I was diagnosed with whiplash and my doctor referred me for physical therapy. On top of an already hectic lifestyle and now physical therapy appointments twice weekly, I had little time and emotional energy to deal with the insurance company myself. I reluctantly contacted Mr. Hughes just to see if there was something he could do to help me.
Not being a litigious person, I was apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised with Mr. Hughes' knowledge, professionalism and considerate nature. He explained the process to me, along with the expected outcome. At no time did I feel like he was taking advantage of my situation or trying to gouge the other party involved, like I had once expected from a personal injury attorney. He and his office staff handled all the details of the case so I could focus on my health. His initial demand was fair and completely agreeable to me, as was the final settlement.
I couldn't be more satisfied with the way Mr. Hughes and his staff handled my case and took care of me personally. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to Mr. Hughes in the future, should there ever be a need.
