I retained Shane Henry and he was upfront from the beginning and did not sugar coat expectations and cost. Communication was amazing with him and Amy their paralegal. They work very quickly and you see all communication with opposing counsel which I did not get from the attorney I had prior to retaining him. I got everything I wanted and I owe that to good counsel. I was able to get full custody which was best for my child. It was amazing. If I have to go back to court in the future, I will retain Shane. Adam has helped me in a number of situations. In some cases it was just procedural, such as helping to properly setup a trust account, but in another case I had a long time (multi-year) issue with a collections company that was wrongly claiming that I had a debt and was unwilling to work to resolve it. After Adam got involved, he was able to quickly show the collection company the "error of their ways" and they dropped their efforts and removed all references on my credit reports. You can be sure that Adam will provide you with solid advice but he won't sugar coat anything either. I highly recommend him.

The state of Oklahoma does not give two shits whether you’re guilty or not. They care on whether they can make money off of you if you’re found guilty. It’s cheaper to pay Stephen than deal with the state DAs and their un-ending fines.

Brian helped clear a cloudy title on a rental property refinance. While we were on our first phone call (the free one!), he quickly pulled up various records and recognized the problem. He gave me two options...a less expensive but less certain option and a more expensive but certain option. If you find yourself in the regrettable circumstance of needing a family lawyer, you cannot do better than Grant Brown.
What impressed me most was his preparedness. Grant takes the time to get to know his clients, as well as the opposing side and the case particulars. On court day, nobody will know more or be better prepared.

I'm not one who completes online reviews but I feel compelled to share my personal experience with Attorney Nathan Barnard with you.
While online seeking the assistance and advice of a local attorney, I came across his name in the online phonebook. I'd already dialed four laywer's offices with rude & failed attempts at getting any answers without making an appt. to come in & "consult" with their lawyers. I'm disabled so going in to have a face to face just to get a few 'general questions' answered is challenging for me. With very little faith of getting any answers, I proceeded to call his office next. After briefly telling the receptionist of my need to ask a few legal questions, much to my surprise, my call was kindly and almost immediately transferred to Mr. Barnard himself. He answered & spoke to me as if I were his established client & he knows me personally. I am & will continue to be more than impressed & grateful for his kindness, the giving of his time to me, (a random caller,) additionally, without hesitation his legal knowledge gave me an answer to every question I asked. I'm doing this review as I feel he is more than worthy of me passing this rare "attorney" experience on to others... Caring attorneys DO exist! We addressed my areas of concern as he answered each question without hesitation or haste. At no time did he make me feel rushed or uneasy about taking HIS TIME to help ME with the answers I needed. Not once did he imply or insist that I'd need to come in & hire him to represent me BEFORE he would grant me any more of his 'important time & busy schedule!'
After the 35 minute conversation, he'd helped me with all concerns I had, PLUS he offered additional information I didn't even know to ask him about.
Prior to my call to Mr. Barnard, who was the last one of five in the phonebook that I called Friday, I have never had the luck of blindly calling & actually 'TALKING' to a more professional, personal, positive, knowledgeable, kind & easy going person! This includes ALL professionals; Dr., Lawyer, etc. with whom I AM already established! But for this attorney to accept my call & answer all of my questions as an unestablished person is unheard of! Prior to this last phone call to him, I didn't think I'd get any answers without FIRST hiring an attorney to answer my concerns. NATHAN BARNARD PROVED TO ME THAT NICE PEOPLE/PROFESSIONALS DO STILL EXIST!

I’m mentally disabled & now without meds & lost my dr who I was making progress with. My advice? Don’t go with them unless u enjoy your case being passed between 3-6 different anssistants and not getting your phone calls returned until it’s time to go to trial. THEN you get great communication. Stop taking on cases if you don’t have the TIME to CARE for your CLIENTS PROPERLY & REPRESENT THEM TO THE FULLEST!! Thanks for making my life mote difficult.. at least whenI get this all squared away, you won’t get a DIME out of THIS backpay.

Hired Randy Rankin but an attorney named Eric Johnson was put on my case instead. Eric worked for the d.a. in the county where my charges were not long before taking my case. It was obvious he still pulled for the prosecutors more than for those he's supposed to defend. He never would do anything I asked of him with the courts. It was always what he chose and wanted as if your not the client. Then it came down to having to accept something because I had no defense with this so called attorney not doing his job and not working for the client. He sat in a side room the day of court and wouldn't talk to me his client instead leaving my mom to try to explain paperwork she knew nothing about while he lounged in an office acrosd the hall. He only came in the room to say I was stupid while I was upset because he wouldn't come do his job and left my mom to answer questions she didn't have answers for. I may be diagnosed with mental disability but I'm far from stupid Mr. Eric Johnson. If you hire Randy Rankin to do a job beware if Eric Johnson is put in Randy's place. At that point I recommend getting your money back and going elsewhere. I had the most ineffective assistance at council oklahoma in which paperwork is being filed against this pathetic excuse for an attorney. My case was a misdemeanor case yet I didn't receive the skill of even a public defender which I paid for an attorney but received less than a public defender. For an attorney to sit in a side room and not do his job this is disgraceful and pathetic and to call a person with mental disabilities stupid Mr. Eric Johnson your a sad excuse for an attorney!!!

If you are looking for an attorney that will be honest with you, even though it may not be what you want to hear and not set you up for false hope, then this guy is your man. My case took roughly 5 years to settle due to some things out of our control, but from the word go he had my best interest in mind, never led me astray and kept me informed the whole time. I know attorneys sometimes get a bad rap because clients don't get what they think they deserve, but in reality that's not the fault of the attorney but more of just the law in general.
