Divorce is the hardest possible thing I've dealt with especially involving kids. I had taste buds taken off my mouth not wanting to eat due to this matter of divorce to crying that my now ex-wife would let me see my kids.
I left her so she had an avenue which is making my life hard through attorneys to get back. Long story story short I hired a cheap attorney versus not having one worst mistake ever... Hired Andrea she gets to the point divorced in record time. She doesn't play games and plays devils advocate as she knows the system. Best thing she advised to me is that she said to me with ease. "Your the same person going through a divorce with a different last name" She's a 10 Star. Me and my ex wife next to me. She turned a 14 month battle and converted in 90 days.

Robert is the best! He represented me in my divorce case. The first thing that he did was to explain the legal papers that I was served in layman's terms, as opposed to the legaleze it was written in. He handled everything, and kept me informed every single step of the way. The way that he simplified legal jargon, without talking down to me really left an impact on me. By the time the process had come to an end, Robert got me much more than I assumed I would walk away with. He never tried to run my pockets dry. I am finding it difficult to even put into words how grateful I am for the work Todd put into my family law case.
From returning phone calls on weekends, to filing emergency documents in the middle of the night, he was there with me every step of the way. I heard from many friends their lawyers were extremely condescending and unresponsive, so I was worried what I may encounter during my journey. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney than Todd. He took my case personally and does not even utilize a paralegal for his practice. He is hands on and does everything himself. He lives and breathes for his work.
Our intitial consult was on a Sunday. I called his answering service and he returned my message within minutes. While he never pressured me to retain him for my case, I hired him on the spot. It was the best decision I made.
My case was invovled and he had the knowledge and experience to see it through, despite many complications along the way. He definitely took an outside the box approach to several matters that ended up closing the case.
No one expects to need a family law attorney. However, should you find yourself in that position, Todd is an excellent choice.
Andrew was also briefly involved with my case and while we did not have much interaction, I was impressed by his compassion and appreciated the time he took to offer his insight as well.
On a final note, I found Todd's billing extremely reasonable and fair. Thank you to this firm for helping me through an extremely difficult time in my life.

Jordan Gerber is a complete angel on Earth. She was willing to take on my complex case, which had already been set for trial, when most attorneys wouldn’t touch it. I had a great experience with HVW Law Group. I am extremely pleased with Emerald' services. Emerald was the third attorney I hired during my child custody case.
The first attorney I hired sent somebody I did not even know and who knew nothing about my case to my first court hearing. He did not even tell me he was doing this beforehand. The second attorney did not answer my calls in a timely manner, did not keep me inform of the status of the case, and I found him to be overall non-empathetic and just plain non-caring starting from right after the first consultation once the retainer was paid.
When I found Emerald I really thought all the attorneys were going to be like that. I felt scared, alone, and confused dealing with one of the most important situations in my life. Emerald was amazing from day one. She took the time to answer all of my questions even when I asked the same question repeatedly, she kept me up to date on absolutely everything that was going on, she answered all my phone calls in a timely manner (usually right after I called), she was always looking out for my best interest and fighting for my rights, she was kind, understanding, and compassionate. She even went above and beyond with communicating and discussing things with my ex even for simple matters when I just did not have the emotional capability to do it myself. I was referred to Ms. Bourassa recently to handle my divorce. She stated at our first meeting she would handle the case and get it done the way I asked. She also is extremely responsive and actually returns phone calls. While at time I got excited and vented my needs during the progress of this case, Ms Bourassa remained calm advising me to to the same. She also advised me to simply let most of my demands lay, and get on with my life. Good advice, which I eventually followed. Don't let Jaquiline's soft voice and calm demeanor fool you, chances are if you follow her advice your case will resolve itself quickly and in the manner you wanted, mine did.

I hired Abby for a very complex and distressing paternity case. I hired Katie after a year of litigation with another attorney. Katie took on my adoption case even though it was extremely complicated and fell into grey areas of the law in many places. His staff told me they were not obligated to give me the paper. After I called back Harris, calling me “bro” said he mailed it and fulfilled his obligation.
