Told me what I wanted to hear to defend my case then when he showed up to court for me after I paid him a $500 deductible all he did was get my court extended and after I told him I had all the evidence to prove my innocence he just wanted me to plead down and then he dropped me as a client after he took my $500 I would never recommend this man to another person because he will not get you out of jail he will just plead you down

When first approaching my divorce I must have tried meeting every lawyer I possibly could in order to find the right fit. I ended up knowing right when meeting him that this was the person I wanted to represent me in my battle that was going to be the worst thing I had ever in my life went threw. I walked in his office with a ton of anger from not being able to see my kids and all the false information being said about me. By the 3rd time I seen him I had my head firmly secured and was able to focus 100% on my goals. He was only a attorney yet made such a HUGE positive impact and set me and my children on the right path and not simply because he was being paid to do so. At many times he showed his genuine care, compassion and understanding. My kids grew to know his name and are still to this day very thankful for him. I am a father that now has my kids the majority of the time and can see to it the kids have a bright future. A few years have passed since concluding my divorce and I was forced to be right back in court for contempt that was so far from the truth. I figured I could try to find a cheap attorney to hopefully quickly fix the problem, 2 years later and thousands being wasted nothing was fixed. I once again hired Ken and the problem was fixed and luckily I am out of court again. I learned my lesson, any future needs he will be my first call! I was never asked to make any reviews or offered anything to do so. This awesome man truly deserves a good word put out there for him, about him.

I had a very disappointing experience with Yazdani Law, LLC, Columbus, OH. Despite paying for their services in full, they mishandled my case by submitting incorrect documentation, leading to delays and unnecessary stress during the visa process. To make matters worse, they demanded extra money beyond the agreed-upon contract amount, claiming it was for unforeseen circumstances—issues that should have been anticipated with proper diligence.
Their lack of accountability and professionalism was evident throughout. They acted as if they were providing a free service, despite the significant fees I paid. Instead of acknowledging their errors, they attempted to mask their mistakes by blaming and suppressing.
I do not recommend this lawyer or firm to anyone seeking reliable immigration assistance.

Outstanding Divorce/Child Custody Lawyer – Highly Recommend!
My case involved a divorce with children, filed by my ex-husband who lives in Ohio, while I reside in Minnesota. Despite my ex-husband and his lawyer insisting that the case should include child custody and be handled in Ohio, Catherine, who was well-versed in child custody laws, raised a key issue: under the UCCJEA (Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act), Ohio did not have jurisdiction over the children. The opposing party continued to push for a trial involving both the divorce and child custody in Ohio, even though this was legally improper. Ultimately, Catherine and I prevailed, as it was determined that Ohio lacked jurisdiction over the children under the UCCJEA. As a result, the divorce was finalized without any decisions made about custody, which would be addressed in Minnesota instead.
I am so grateful for the exceptional legal support I received from Catherine during my divorce. Going through such a difficult and emotional time was incredibly stressful, but she made the entire process so much easier to navigate. From the initial consultation to the final resolution, Catherine was there every step of the way, providing not only expert legal advice but also compassionate support.
Catherine truly understands the emotional complexities of divorce and handled my case with both professionalism and sensitivity. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and ensure I understood every step of the legal process. I always felt like my needs and best interests were a top priority.

An Unstoppable Advocate – Kia Fights for Her Clients!
I cannot say enough great things about Kia and the incredible work she has done for me and my children. From the moment she took on my case, she was relentless in ensuring that every detail was handled with precision and care. Litigation is never easy, and when things took a turn for the worse, Kia stepped in and made sure that my paperwork was solid and in my favor.
What truly sets her apart is her resilience. She didn’t care she challenged the court she was going to keep approaching the bench until we got what we needed. The judge wasn’t trying to hear the matter, but that didn’t stop her. She went as far as to request a hearing just to make sure we didn’t leave that courthouse without a resolution. I had an odd situation where I ended up with visitation/ custody issues with my ex who ended up being a sex offender. I went into court the first time and didn’t have an attorney and got taken advantage of. Arianna ended up being in the courtroom when this happened to me. I decided I needed an attorney so my boyfriend started looking into some and found Arianna online. I feel like it was meant to be for her to be in the courtroom to see what happened to me before we both even knew she would end up being my attorney. Andrew helped me with a divorce and a later custody issue. He's a straight-shooter that tries his best to actually resolve the issue as quickly as possible with the best outcome for everyone involved. He also does his best to try to keep things from spiraling into unnecessary tangents and side-issues in the case and keep everyone focused on getting a resolution.
I also like that he's direct and blunt - he'll let you know if you're making things worse for yourself and help you get back on track.
But - above all - he actually cares about his clients and the process - I never had to worry about him missing court dates or deadlines or turning in half-baked motions or written responses. He always checked in with me before anything important was happening and always made sure I was aware of everything that was happening through the process.
I'm hoping that I never have to use his services again, but I'm happy he's just a phone call away if I do.

Let me just say I have had at least 10 attorneys for a multitude of matters. I know what it’s like for an attorney to just show up and charge hours but barely know your case. Attorney Nunez is exceptional she prepares exhibits to help create a successful outcome. She prepares and gets insight ahead of time and also a few days before hearings/trial and makes adequate time, so she is kept abreast to represent you fully. Did I mention her professionalism and poise? She worked on two cases for me and both ended up being success stories! All that I truly wish is their were more attorneys as passionate as her out there! From the very beginning you could tell Ryan and his assistant Jen are both very passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. Ryan and his assistant, Jen, were very understanding and compassionate but yet professional and reasonable as they helped me file for divorce from my husband of 30 plus years. One of the first things Ryan said to me was… “ I am more expensive than a counselor, so if you want to chat about things not directly pertaining to the case, I will steer you back on track….but I recommend it is healthy to go seek out a counselor to help you emotionally get through the divorce.” Right from the start he was very conscious of a budget and kept things moving that were important to the case. He reminded me that somethings could cost more in attorney fees than were worth proving. Where I wanted to achieve something based on the principle of it, he steered me back to the cost that would be sacrificed to get it.
The divorce was complicated by the fact that I had put my career on hold to be a stay-home-mom to several children, allowing my husband to advance his career with the federal government and have all the perks related to early retirement eligibility, federal employee health benefits (FEHB), a government pension and a generous government matching Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). Although I had the same college degrees, education level, previous federal employment, and had recently picked up non-federal employment, I did not have the number of years to be eligible similar benefits. I counted on Ryan to weed through the confusing government rules and regulations pertaining to government “Spouse Equity,” “Survivor Spouse Annuity,” and “Federal Employees Health Benefits.” When my husband was adamant that he did not want to provide for the Survivor Spouse Annuity, Ryan was able to appeal to him and his attorney to have it provided because of the long marriage. Whatever Ryan did not know, he found out. He also has access to professional paralegals (at rates less than his) who are experts at dividing government retirement and TSP accounts based on individual cases. Ryan leveraged their information and guidance in preparing the court orders for the retirement division and the TSP division. Ryan is highly knowledgeable of the government retirement-type issues and an expert in the preparation of court orders specific to government retirement plans.
Although there were no longer any minor children, my case was further complicated by many other things, to include stock being held for an elderly parent with the intention that it would be returned to her if needed for her health care, multiple bank accounts, brokerage accounts, credit cards, student loans for a couple children, pages of personal belongings, hotel points, airline points, hidden cash, hidden trips, hidden debt, an adult child still in college-tuition, a house mortgage, a timeshare, multiple cars, some of which belonged to children, a dog, healthcare, dental and vision for adult children under the age 26, and the desire to be able to obtain federal healthcare when needed for myself.
One of the best ways to describe Ryan is that he has the mind of a chess player. He was always thinking one move ahead, and the topic of alimony comes to mind here (pros and cons)…. You’ll have to ask him.
Did the divorce cost more than expected? … Absolutely! But I am the reason for this. I can be wordy (this is probably the longest review on his page) and my emails long, but Ryan patiently answered every question, reminding me along the way to trust him, and that my wordiness and multiple questions would cost me more. I did not care because he was providing me with information which gave me peace of mind. He also obtained something that three other attorneys told me could not be done (ask him!). He is excellent, worth every penny.
Lastly, it is not in my nature to write reviews. I have made this one exception because Ryan and his assistant, Jen, deserve kudos for a job well done. A sincere Thank You Ryan for accomplishing the near impossible. May your practice thrive!
