Halleh was incredible in helping me navigate a contentious and lengthy divorce. She is direct, honest, and an excellent communicator. She always put the best interest of my children and long-term financial stability first, offering best and worst-case options for a myriad of legal challenges. I suffered a spine injury as the result of a T-bone car crash, the other driver at fault. We got nothing but gutter-ball offers from her insurance company. What you hear on the radio is true – the insurance companies simply will not take your case seriously until you file a suit. This is where I was glad to have Ken and his team on my side. The burden to convince a jury of my losses lies with me the plaintiff, which then requires conducting extensive research, gathering and organizing supporting documents. After Ken submitted all of this material during the pre-trial discovery the insurance company decided to make a reasonable settlement offer.

Jake and his team were incredibly helpful after I was in a serious car accident caused by another driver. I had no idea what to expect and Jake walked me through everything with clear expectations. Jake and his team provided support, were very knowledgeable, and made it clear they care about their clients. His paralegal, Nicol, provided resources for medical care and transport services when I had trouble getting to appointments and I always had a quick email reply to any questions. Elizabeth Howard's firm was our guiding light when our brother became terminally ill in a hospital in Colorado. Since my sister and I were both living in two different states, we had limited time to spend with him in CO. My brother did not have a will of any kind and we sadly had to return to our home states without his getting one completed. From Ohio, I blindly chose an attorney in the Denver area from a long list and called Elizabeth for help. She went to see my brother in the hospital that day and found him willing and able in completing a will the very next day! After our brother passed away, she worked with us throughout the probate process and her patience, kindness and efficiency proved to be outstanding.

Charlie did a great job trying to defend my case. Although the DUI did not get dropped, he did get my careless driving dropped. DA was not budging on jail time. Danny stepped in at my last courtdate, and was able to get me IHD. On that, I was thankful. I feel I did get my $'s worth from this team. They really do try to get the best deal possible. I would say I would use them again. However I will not need their services in the future. As I will NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. Colorado has become tougher through the years for DUI. The cost alone with everything involved is not worth admitting to having a few drinks and refusing Breathalyzer or Blood tests! If you are ever in this situation, call these guys. They are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. It is worth having this team of lawyers by your side through this process.

We selected Michael Juba from among other lawyers because on our first phone call, he listened thoughtfully and carefully to our situation and concerns. His response was extremely kind and patient—exactly what we needed in our distress. From that first contact all the way to the end of the trial, he gave us confidence that he knew what he was doing, and he patiently taught us what we needed to know every step of the way.
As we came to know him—and later, his partner Daniel McGarvey—we found both to be compassionate, patient, hard-working, thorough, wise, and very smart. As our case unfolded, and it became evident that we were confronted with a cruel, incompetent, and stubborn prosecutor, Mr. Juba and Mr. McGarvey doubled down and took every step possible to bring the case to a close before ending up in a trial.

My experience with Allen Vellone Wolf Helfrich & Factor has been beyond great. They dug into the issues of my case and discovered things in my favor that go far beyond what other defendants in the same case appear to have missed or not seriously considered. My opinions of Jim Helfrich and Kate Sender go beyond my ability to express. The best I can say is that I trust them to do their absolute best, which I believe they have done. No bullshit.
They haven’t always told me what I want to hear, but they have always considered my opinion and that has been reflected in the things they have produced on my behalf. My case is not over, but they believe in me and have taken my side with the best they have to offer. Their rates are fair, and I have never had the feeling they were fabricating hours as so many law firms do, especially the law firm that is attacking me. I suspect I will have more to add to this review in the future.

Originally I started with a lawyer where when we showed up to the first court appearance the Judge shut us out didn’t let that attorney speak, and didn’t want to hear anything she had to say! I’m so glad she chose to transfer the case to Jessica Lasky. This amazing attorney came in like super woman throwing blows to the entire court system. Fortunately she is well experienced with the DA and knows a lot of things that normal attorneys aren’t familiar with. Everything started in early August and by Late November I had my life and freedom back forever. I am so grateful to have had Christina on my team representing me in my divorce case. She always responded to my questions promptly, called me to keep me informed of how the case was progressing, and really listened to my concerns. Even though my case wasn't overly complicated, Christina still treated everything with importance and had great tactics to protect my income, she explained every process to make sure I understood what was going on and provided solid advice when I wanted to purchase a house during the divorce process. Having no experience in this field at all, I was pretty terrified when I was shown to be at fault for a car accident. The entire team was excellent gave me a lot of information helped me to remain calm, and on the day of Katy in particular went way above and beyond the call of duty to help facilitate me reaching the courthouse on time. I was very impressed on every level with this operation.
