This immigration service is 5-stars. Erin Williams runs this business. She and her staff are great. The location (near Orchard and Quebec) is easy to access but it can be a little difficult to find. It's part of a larger complex that has several different offices (hers is building 4) so give yourself a few extra minutes to find it the first time. I had a lot of questions about the U.S. immigration process especially how to best maximize the probability of getting a visa for my friend who lives in China. I went with an initial 1-hr consult and got good solid answers for all of my questions. Erin really know the business. Afterwards, when talking with my friend, a few other questions came up and I arranged a follow-up "phone" consult with her that pretty much finished up every question I have. When the time comes, and my friend and I hopefully marry, I will obviously contact Erin again for all the details regarding spousal and/or fiancee visas. Finally, you won't find a friendlier person or staff to work with.

Lorna was my attorney through my divorce, and I will never be more appreciative for her services. She not only is cost effective but she genuinely cares about her clients. I was never left to wonder if she would call me back or answer my e-mails, because she always responded. During this extremely difficult time in my life, I was glad that she was there to help walk me through the whole process. Lorna assisted me with cleaning up a parenting plan that my ex and I did ourselves and responding to several motions that my ex wife brought against me. I originally hired her to consult, but hired her fully when I knew it would be going to trial. Lorna is so organized and knew my case inside and out. There was no comparison between Lorna and my ex's attorney as to who knew what they were doing in court. Lorna helped me win all the motions that my ex filed against me. I have had attorney's in the past who were a total waste of money. Lorna was worth every penny. She returned every call and every e-mail. She sets realistic expectations and knows how to approach the case in the most positive light. Thanks for everything Lorna!

We have worked with Miranda Bouchey and can highly highly recommend her. She genuinely cares about our family and works incredibly hard on our case. Miranda was amazing! I knew I had an uphill battle going into our case since I wasn’t the primary care taker and my ex wife wanted to relocate with our son. I knew that I also had a lot going for me since I have always been there and have provided for my son since his birth as well. Miranda took my case on short notice and short preparation, but got up to speed quicker than I anticipated. She gave me the best possible legal advice (the to-do’s and not to-do’s) the entire 5-6 months she worked with me. When it came down to actually going to court, she guided and prepared me on exactly what was going to happen before even getting into the courtroom, so all I had to do was remember and execute what she told me to do. She was already in the courthouse before I arrive at the courthouse (which I’m always early) and I really appreciated that. She was attentive in the courtroom and honed in on what was important to the judge’s decision making. She won my case for me because she’s an amazing attorney and knew what to say and what not to say. I will be forever grateful for Miranda and her talent as an attorney! I foolish had signed a postnuptial that could have ruined me financially. I had consulted with another lawyer and was told there was nothing that could be done. I was absolutely devastated!! I then met with Andy later that day. He looked over the postnuptial and found so many loop holes. I knew I had found the lawyer I needed for my divorce.
He is so incredibly knowledgeable, competent, trustworthy, takes the high road on issues. Even though he has been a lawyer for 23 years, he still has that intense drive and dedication to make things right for his clients.
Andy didn't make me feel like a fool for signing this awful postnuptial. There was a lot of intense emotions I had and he was kind and thoughtful in his responses to me. His goal was to save me financially and that's exactly what he did.

Andy is an excellent and experienced attorney. I hired him for my divorce proceedings which were difficult circumstances as I was out of state with one child and expecting another. I highly recommend hiring Andy as your divorce and family attorney. Not only was Andy responsive to my case needs but he was/is, extremely competent and he has several years in practicing divorce and family law; a definite benefit for any case. His experience and years of practice was crucial to many aspects of my divorce. I don't have the words to express my gratitude for Olivia Larson and all she has done for my family. My case was extremely complicated as it had both civil and criminal accusations. I knew I was innocent and the accusations against me were an attempt to muddy the water and gain an advantage in the civil case. With Olivia's help, I was able to win against the criminal accusations and hold my accusers accountable. The civil case lasted over a year due to Covid and court procedure. When I first hired Olivia she was with a firm that I won't name, but after a few months she chose to leave that firm and start her own. I asked her to stay on as my lawyer and she thankfully agreed. Olivia was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. She was also very helpful in any of the issues that came up within my divorce proceedings. I found myself a victim of roofing contractor that took my money and didn’t perform any work. County law enforcement was moving incredibly slow and I did not have strong confidence I was going to recover any of my money. I decided to hire Stuart Morse Law firm. Laurie is an excellent attorney! I did a great deal of research weighing who/what kind of attorney I hoped to work with on my divorce/modification case. I can honestly and emphatically say that I *cannot say enough wonderful things about Laurie Joe*. She (and her team) worked tirelessly on my case even in instances that she had other cases to attend to. There were even a few times where she was out of the office around the Holiday season and she still replied/called me in response to any emails during that time out. She answered all questions completely and if I still needed more information beyond the detail she provided, she willingly consulted others in order to get that information. She was an excellent sounding board for anything I needed and was very patient with me throughout the entire process. Laurie also kindly and honestly answered the dreaded "what would you do if in my situation" question, even if I did not like the answer. She also worked with my ex in a fashion that kept our situation as de-escalated as possible while maintaining the nature of what I wanted to accomplish. I knew Jeff was the right choice from the first conversation we had. Jeff is calm but sharp. He answered all my questions perfectly while providing the answer my ex's lawyer would provide as well. I felt reassured throughout the entire process which is daunting. The outcome was fair and I appreciated Jeff's attention to detail. Another reason I chose to go with Jeff's practice was that every email, text or call was personally responded to by Jeff in a timely manner and I didn't have to go through a chain of people. I really liked that. Considering divorce sucks I was in good hands with Jeff and I did not spend an exuberant amount of money on lawyer fees.

Eventually things flipped and I was able to turn everything around, for the sake of the kids and their futures as much as my own.

I felt Jennifer made her mind up about me within seconds of our initial consultation. This was my first divorce, & I was unfamiliar with the process & scared, so I stuck it out thinking it was me who was wrong, not her.
Jennifer had little regard for my concerns & insisted she knew what was best. She rushed my case & pushed me to take offers from my ex’s counsel even though they only benefited him.
My ex is abusive & my child is terrified of him. Instead of hearing me out that maybe my ex should have limited custody, she told me it was my responsibility to encourage my son to have a good relationship with his dad. I was told I needed to force my son to go to his dad’s whether he wanted to or not. She told me if my son resisted, I needed to implement strict punishments. Apparently our children’s wishes & fears don’t matter in family law.
Don’t be like me & assume the attorney knows best. Jennifer did not advocate for me. She made me feel powerless & I wish I had trusted my instincts & hired a different attorney. My son is suffering because I didn’t listen to my gut. Don’t be like me. Stay away from this firm - they don’t care about their clients or children.

I hired Attorney Jennifer Feingold to clear up an issue I had in my separation agreement from my divorce. My original attorney left a rather important piece out the agreement. Jennifer was very helpful in explaining the procedure and what needed to be done. She was very competent, communicative and conscious of my feelings. She was able to fix my issue in a very timely matter.
In hindsight, I wish I would have found Attorney Feingold to represent me for my divorce from the start.

Brianne Henninger in particular is a SUPERB LAWYER & at the top of her field in my opinion. I had two different law firms prior to coming to Heckenback Law. My case was a complete mess, and I had about lost all faith that there was anything I could do in the courts to get things to change.
Dave and Ian turned my case around, albeit over a few years, starting with winning an appeal that had a very low chance of success. They then systematically continued to get small victories of facts and truth over deception and fraud. Eventually things flipped and I was able to turn everything around, for the sake of the kids and their futures as much as my own.

At the beginning of the divorce case there was minimum contact. When a deadline near there was more communication but was last minute. Once it came time for mediation the charges really increased and it felt as the information gathered in the 9 months prior was not retained. In the end I would have probably saved money by representing my self because the permanent orders we 99% my exes request.

I would not recommend this lawyer for divorces where the husband has been cheating on the wife and the wife needs to defend herself against the husband. Mr. Deasy is a "daddy" lawyer perhaps because the issue draws too close to his past for him. He overcharged my daughter for his services and that of his associates and their performance before the court was miserable. Presents a good game but doesn't follow through.

Mr. Deasy and his staff provided outstanding counsel through an incredibly high conflict relocation case wherein my ex husband had petitioned to move with our three minor children out of state. Through a difficult and arduous trial process, he remained calm and confident despite the argumentative and bullying tactics of the other lawyer. Mr. Deasy was recommended to me by a friend who practices law in Connecticut, and the national recommendation was well and truly deserved. I would suggest him and his firm to anyone who is in need of a family law attorney - he is the best I've seen.
