My son and I were in an auto accident July 2023. I reached out to several firms before I came across Foster Wallace online. After reading many reviews from other clients I knew this was the right firm to go with. Michael Foster was very caring, professional and responsive from beginning to end. He always made time to check in with us or answer any questions that we had. All of my text and emails were always answered almost immediately and if he wasn’t available, he’d set a time to be available to answer any questions. He even stopped by my office just to check in. It meant a lot that he would take the time out just to stop in. The entire team was very helpful and professional. This was my first auto accident and didn’t really know what to expect, but I had full confidence that Michael would get the best result for my son and I. Which left me worry free. He did not fail! I want to take a moment to highly recommend Foster Wallace for anyone in need of an attorney. After my car accident, I was overwhelmed and unsure of what to do, but Brian immediately put me at ease. He was incredibly attentive, always making sure I was okay and thoroughly explaining each step of the process involved in resolving my case.
What stood out the most was how helpful he was in answering all of my questions. No matter how small or complex my concerns were, he took the time to ensure I fully understood my options and felt comfortable moving forward. I debated writing this review; I decided I want to share my experience; I paid $3000 dollars and felt like he was on the other parties side.
Since day one he was rude, and talked me to like I did not know anything.
Every time I met with him I had to re answer questions, name of child, age, gender etc.
I had two non-negotiables, that I let him know up front, that I would not settle for.
When it came time sign the documents(after a couple of years of back and forth), I had to check the whole document to only find out it had been snuck in by the other party. My attorney did not review it and let me know, I had to say something.
I had to communicate with him and follow up with him in order to find anything out.
When it came time to finally time to settle in court, I was asked if a few dates would work. Never confirmed the date/time, I had to reconfirm with him the night before. Did not prep me on what to expect, etc.
During court, he fumbled through and even wanted me to agree on a date that was not communicated/discussed prior.
Overall, I felt he did not take my case seriously, and felt like he had the other parties best interest in mind.
Would not recommend.

Chris shocked me when he contacted me on a Saturday afternoon to help me through some traffic problems I was going thru. Even after I told him I had already hired an attorney, this man was still willing to help. I'm just amazed with the help he provided. He answered all my questions in a language I could understand. And wiped the worries I was having a way. I will use him in the future and recommend his services when I can . Awesome person. Thanks again sir. I sure appreciate it

Was alot of issues that were just overlooked in the case. Like they did not even care. And couldn't do a final even a Second reach out to my self that I had a balance. Straight to garnishing my checks. Feel like my girls could have had a totally different and better outcome, if the GAL would do what they are there to do.
And to your response no you did not represent me but you did my girls and allowed them to stay in a abusive house hold after all info was giving to you.
I'd suggest any one else find some one that is not about what ever it is they think their about. People children's and olives you mess with. My girls didn't deserve what You allowed to happen.
Also easy for you you have a 5 star when all you have is 21 Reviews. Wonder how many of these people you know personally.

I hired Sandy when I got divorced and again when my ex-husband and I went back to court 4 years later. She gives the best/most honest advice and fights hard for you! She is a "beast" in the court room! Never raises her voice, but she knows how to work a witness and get the answers she wants for your case. She doesn't "beat around the bush" and is extremely realistic (which I loved!). I would definitely recommend hiring Sandy as a divorce lawyer!

It is a shame it has taken me more than a decade to find a law firm that knows the law, operates in a top-caliber manner, and treats the client like a human. I have had a couple of attorneys at Hale, but the one who helped us the most was Suzanne. Not only is she a bomb a** attorney, but she also knows how to handle and run a business, be classy, and professional, and have customer service. I appreciate her no-frills approach to handling cases and client situations.
She keeps a client-centered approach and looks out for everyone's best interest. Attorneys are indeed expensive but Suzanne makes sure the money spent on your case is allocated in a manner that does not leave your account on zero or paying unnecessary fees. She believes in transparency, honesty, and integrity; which is rare when an attorney is involved in difficult cases. She understands that the way she is represented in and out of the courtroom is a reflection of her business and there is not a time that she does not take her work seriously. The few times we had to speak with her on the phone, she has always been patient and attentive while listening closely to our concerns. I knew my son was facing a very serious charge, I paid 20,000 for representation that I feel a public defender could have done. I felt like he absolutely did not fight for my son at all, whatever the prosecutor said , is what it was. My son has never been in any type of trouble, and any time I would mention anything with his case that I looked up on my own he would say oh that doesn’t apply to his case. My son was never showed any evidence that they supposedly had against him. Communication with the attorney was not the best, he would respond when it was convenient. I was told after the case was over, if you ever have any questions feel free to reach out, I did and never heard back from him. I guess after getting his money, his job was done…. Don’t say reach out with questions if you know you’re not going to keep your word. He had me believing the whole time he would do all he could to help my son, he still got screwed in the end.

I feel as though I was wrongfully arrested for a DUI. I am a pretty boring mom who never goes out and had not had a drink in years. A friend came from out of town and for the first night in years I took her out in KC, had 1 drink, than drank water for about 2 hours, grabbed a bite to eat, and about 3 or 4 hours after my one drink got in the car and forgot to turn on my headlights and got pulled over by a thirty to arrest DUI officer. He did three field sobriety test and I lost my balance on the walk, the last test, due to nerves/anxiety (was shaking), it was on an elevated surfaces and a uneven cracked sidewalk. He arrested me and gave me a PBT which I easily passed but still insisted I was under the influence. I called many lawyers and many stated that many prosecutors are hard on DUI’s due to MAD and even though it seemed straightforward we likely would have to go to trial. I looked up Denise and was impressed by her credentials but once I talked to her I knew she was hands down the one I wanted to hire. She was confident in her abilities and what she would be able to do for me. I could have gotten a cheaper lawyer but I she was well worth the extra I had to spend to get representation that would fight for me. Denise was able to get charge completely dismissed. It is disappointing that you can do everything right and still get wrongfully arrested by someone stacking up cases but thankful for people like Denise who are able to represent people when they feel like the odds are stacked against them.
Denise, thanks for everything you did to represent me and get my case dismissed. I shouldn’t never need another DUI lawyer but would/will recommend you, hands down!

I got charged with a DWI in September, 2022. I hired Denise Kirby and she started by calling me and getting all the information she needed from me asap. She was very impressive with how she handled the case and she constantly kept me in the loop with what was going on. After watching the video of my arrest, she filed for a motion to suppress and won that, which resulted in the case being dropped. She came to court incredibly prepared and had a counter for everything the prosecutor said. Overall, watching Denise handle this case was very impressive and I would highly recommend her to anyone in this situation.

Moreno Law is a shady practice. They do not guinenly care for clients. They are in it to make money alone. They promise you things they cannot deliver. They cannot be trusted. Be very wary of this practice! Katie and Anthony give the illusion that they have perfect families. They do not and are cheaters and in a relationship together. His wife caught them in the act while they were at their office! Zero stars is not an option.

Anthony and Katie were extremely professional and meticulous when handling my case for the past 21 months. Due to their dedication to my child (her best interests) and the evidence they presented at trial, I succeeded at getting the parenting plan necessary for my daughter’s highest good. I know exactly where I would be without the aid, advice, and counsel they provided and am beyond glad I decided to follow my first mind and hire Moreno Law, to handle this case for my baby girl and I. I can’t lie, these past 2 years were a nightmare, no one should want to go this route; but you must understand that at times this route is absolutely necessary when advocating for what is best for your child and yourself. It would have been tortuous without them being there to explain the law to me and intercede when necessary. There’s no way I would have been able to co-parent as my daughter deserves, without them.

This attorney knows how to use you just for your money. My case was solely in regards into pleasing one parent and not the child. Totally got jacked by the attorney and the other person on specific paternity case and the child misses or loses out both bad for the child. I wouldn't even give a star. Kids lives matter. Honestly should be at the heart of major decisions especially children. #honesty

We were over billed by $15000 and have asked multiple times for items billed which we haven't every received and where told that the biggest part was do to interoffice meetings. And we were charged for paper work, report and other items that we went and got and paid for and took to their office. And they ended up working for the ex instead of us. Run quickly before hiring them. They had other professional write good reviews to keep a high rating. But past client who do write reviews have been scammed by them.

We retained Henry for a child custody and parenting plan revision. He came to court unprepared, didn't advise us of certain forms that had to be completed, failed to represent the key areas of the case, and failed through appeals. Nice person, but not a good lawyer.

I contacted this firm months and had an appointment immediately, but it was basically for nothing. He was rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all. Unprofessional at its finest. It was almost like he was the prosecutor in my trial before my trial!!! Poor customer service from his staff too. If you have a strong case I would recommend you go to someone else.

I contacted Mr. Service in response to a letter I received from his office offering services when my Ex husband filed a modification. When I called, I was immediately offered a consultation appointment despite his full schedule, they made time to see me. Mr Service took the time to get details about my case specifics and explain the process, and what is important to legally focus on in family/civil cases. He was also upfront about possible issues but took time to listen and explain so it pertained to my circumstances; not a general speech I got when trying to make appointments/consult with other lawyers.
Mr. Service is very knowledgeable in these areas and I believe he will be good representation for what is important to me and my family in court.

I hired Ken to help with my divorce and child custody. His fees were very reasonable, he worked with me on payments, and did a great job. Not sure about others who say he took their money, but that's not what my experience was. Horner was referred to me by legal shield. I Hired her March 1st 2018 she did not actually appear in court 1 time for me and did not do anything to help me while waiting for court set (trail) feb 2019 she then informed me Jan 2019 she needed more money to continue to be my lawyer for trail (feb 2019) after sending me a invoice (after me asking multiple times for invoice) of bugus fees she withheld from my retainer needless to say I was very angry and decided to take my “extra” money to a new lawyer which helped me get everything I wanted and what was owed to me in a matter of 27 days! worst experience ever and really feel ripped off to be honest
